19/08/2024: We have been going to Auron for 25 years, it is a superb restaurant, Fabienne and Christophe are very welcoming, the best restaurant in the area, everything is homemade from the starter to the dessert, you can go there with your eyes closed.
Traders like them and lack them.
Thank you again for all the good times spent, a warm and family atmosphere.

15/08/2024: A la fin d'une randonnée très arrosée , nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par l'équipe du restaurant Lou San Jean . Service très rapide , une viande excellente,un rosé savoureux tout comme les desserts. Un rapport qualité/ prix imbatable . Je conseille sans réserve. Michel

30/08/2024: This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend, but we were not delighted with the experience. The waiting time is very long, I am offered a steak tartare with frozen fries, so I take a melted camembert with 1.5 potatoes (1 more would have been better...) and some cold meats. The bread 🥖 is a cheap frozen white baguette, the pizza is not one of the best, the penne bolognese was good for once.
We bought the bread at the village casino during the week, and it was much better and much superior in taste and quality.
I think it’s a restaurant that is riding on its success. Indeed the room was full, but in terms of quality it was not crowded…

Wonderful locations and full of charm. We were immediately won over by the service offered to us.
The owner Alexandre listened to each of our requests for this very important day for us.
Without risk I can very easily say that it was the best buffet I have ever had the joy of participating in..
Full of memories, happy guests, an unforgettable day.

The lamb shank was charred and I'm not exaggerating, the blueberry tart tasted like it was in the fridge and was inedible
it was the only restaurant where there was room… we should have been wary
I strongly advise against

01/04/2024: TO FLEE. Deny access to toilets to an encopresic child due to their disability? (Despite his mother's apparent distress, despite the fact that we spent €280 the day before in their establishment?)
How small. How rude of the person behind the bar that evening.
Fortunately, the establishment next door not only helped our son, but even offered him a Coke, to console him, who already feels different and left out.
It took me a while to digest before I could put a review in publishable terms. We still reserve the right, after consulting our lawyer, to file a complaint for discrimination.

16/08/2024: 2 nights this summer. Very warm welcome despite our late arrival. Nickel room. Breakfast top and very complete and homemade The waffles are great!! All with very good friendliness from the owners. A very good address in Auron

22/08/2024: After a 20-minute long journey, they didn't ask us to come, so we left the place here, our time is more precious than that.
21/08/2024: I only had lunch at the restaurant and I have to say that the reviews don't do it justice. It's a simple restaurant but you eat decently and you don't spend a fortune. After having climbed the Col de la Bonette, a lunch here is fine.

21/08/2024: Accustomed to the grizzly for several years, we and friends came this evening to have a good evening for the birthday of one of our group of friends.
50€ in a vacuum for “madeleines” we were served an unrecognizable alcohol… with lies on sale, we knew the taste of this mixture of alcohol. Despite several interventions with the waitress, she was convinced that it was madeleine... Very disappointed... we do not recommend it at all. TO RUN AWAY
06/08/2024: The catastrophic summer, a 9 euro whiskey with shattered decoration on the floor the same price as in Monaco without the decoration the waitress at the aperitif with her friends the disgusting floor incredible. What are they making us pay for nine euros there isn't even any atmosphere or decor. to review your prices in relation to your structure which is not too pretty, or not pretty at all

19/08/2024: En rando sur le GR5, nuit à Auron et repas du soir au White. Nous étions 9 à table pour une magnifique soirée en terrasse. Gentillesse et efficacité des patrons et de leurs fille, qualité du repas - nous avons pris la Potence, la viande est une vrai tuerie - le tout bien arrosé et pour un prix tout à fait correcte. Bref c'était parfait, je recommande grandement cette établissement. Merci le White, vous êtes top !
23/07/2024: Nous sommes venus en famille et souhaitions manger une fondue savoyarde. Avec 3 enfants, nous voulions 3 parts de fondue, à 25 euros la part et pour ne pas gaspiller, cela paraît normal. Nous avons pris apéro et boissons avec le repas. On nous a obligé à consommer 4 parts minimum. Forcément il en restait plus de la moitié, les enfants mangeant à peine 5 morceaux. Je trouve cela lamentable et honteux de nous obliger ainsi à consommer et en plus, rien d'exceptionnel...
