07/12/2025: If you had to give just one reason to come… THE JUICES! Mastered to perfection by the chef, which clearly appears to be the signature of his cuisine;
06/12/2025: A lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food was really good – fresh, beautifully presented, and simply delicious. You can tell that someone here knows what they're doing and values quality.
The service was just as excellent: friendly, attentive, and uncomplicated. No stress, no rush; you simply feel comfortable and very well taken care of. We'll be back.

Restaurant La Mirabelle

11/01/2026: My partner and I went to La Mirabelle, a bit by chance, after 1:30 pm on a Sunday, and we received a very warm welcome.
We ordered two tarte flambées: a traditional one and one with Munster cheese, along with a side of fries, and everything was delicious.
The tarte flambées are homemade, and we were served quickly and with a smile. We'll definitely go back as soon as we're in the area again! ☺️
11/12/2025: Flammkuchen in December – so of course, the autumn version with mushrooms and, to finish, with apples. We'll try the one with mirabelle plums next time.

Restaurant Caveau du Chatelet

09/01/2026: In France, they still know how to eat well. Everything was superbly prepared and seasoned. A true delight. Very attentive and extremely friendly service. I can highly recommend it.
14/12/2025: We had very high-quality food and excellent service. Our Chablis was also the perfect complement to the meal. The only slight drawback was that the Cordon Bleu was a little firm to the bite, but it was still delicious.

Restaurant à l'homme sauvage

07/12/2025: Excellent from start to finish. Delicious sauerkraut and sweet tarte flambée. I recommend it 1000%. Very friendly waitresses.
23/11/2025: Food was great, service terrible.
The cuisine at A l'Homme Sauvage is truly outstanding – from the frog legs to the tarte flambée, everything was top-notch.
The service, however, was chaotic: orders were taken, then forgotten, and only reappeared when it came time to pay. Drinks also simply got lost in the shuffle.
Important for dog owners: Large dogs seem to be unwelcome here. My 40-kg Malamute, due to its size, briefly touched a neighboring table with its tail while standing – immediately prompting a snarky reprimand from the owner. At the same time, a small dog at the next table was allowed to sit at chair height and bark regularly without any reaction. This double standard was blatant. (Food for thought!)
Conclusion: Excellent food, but the service and treatment of guests – especially owners of larger dogs – clearly need improvement.

A huge congratulations to the entire team at Pont M: Philippe, Maud, and their wonderful waitress, Astrik. From the food and service to the ambiance, everything is absolutely remarkable. The dishes are sophisticated, original, full of flavor, and always exquisitely prepared. As loyal customers for years, each visit is a new and delightful surprise. We enjoy ourselves every time.
A big thank you for this wonderful restaurant!

16/12/2025: We were a couple at Au Pont M, having made a reservation beforehand. We were greeted and shown to a table directly overlooking the Lauter River. We were initially disappointed that the menu on the website didn't match the actual dinner menu. The room temperature was more suited to polar bears. 19°C is already borderline. The food we ordered was served promptly. However, the dishes were very bland. There were six tables occupied, and all the guests asked for salt. All the main courses were served with the same white sauce. My wife had cod, and I had lamb. I don't understand why the same sauce is appropriate for these different dishes.
Since we didn't want dessert, the table was cleared completely at record speed. Apart from the tablecloth and a candle, nothing remained. This was a clear signal for us to vacate the table as quickly as possible.
The ladies' restroom was very dirty and had to be cleaned by my wife before she could use it.
In short, we won't be returning.

01/10/2024: In the summer months it is even more beautiful in the garden. Due to high demand, access to the café has been controlled separately via the garden entrance for several years. At lunchtime on weekends it can take a while to get a table.
The tartlets, sweet or salty, are great.
The coffee is also good for Germans and there is a small pot of hot milk with Mllchkaffee.
The staff is competent, mostly bilingual and very friendly.
29/09/2024: Cold welcome, decent service but the consumption is not up to par, as for homemade chocolate I am still looking for chocolate, bland, tasteless...many pastries on the menu were actually missing.

01/10/2024: Feels more like a Grand Café. A large round table in the corner where patrons drink and chat loudly. Furthermore, a fairly business atmosphere (there is nothing wrong with that) and a menu with not too much choice. Dishes are not seasoned enough for my taste, with the exception of a more than excellent fish soup. Fine for a quick bite to eat, but don't expect haute cuisine
29/09/2024: Wissembourg is a very nice town with many opportunities. In “Du Saumon” you can eat regional food and it is very tasty 😋. The beer garden is also nice but it was too cool for that today. But the interior is also cozy.

20/10/2024: Nous avons déjeuné avec des amis en revenant à ce restaurant qui nous avait offert des moments culinaires exceptionnels déjà dans le passé.
Cette dernière rencontre avec les plats d’une qualité exceptionnelle, hors du commun, avec le personnel aimable, attentif et efficace, l’atmosphère accueillante du restaurant nous font déjà rever à une prochaine visite.

01/02/2026: Unfortunately, I hadn’t checked the Google ratings beforehand. The coffee was very nice, and the service was pleasant, but the sweets didn’t seem fresh and had little to no flavor. Based on my experience, I would return for the coffee and service, but I would avoid the sweets even though they look good because they don't taste equally nice.
24/01/2026: We had a very disappointing experience.
We were there with a small child and a stroller. As soon as we entered, we were told that strollers weren't allowed – even though the shop was completely empty at the time.
We were told that we couldn't stay because supposedly 16 people were arriving soon. We had already bought cake and then had to walk through town for half an hour with our small child to pick it up. When we asked for forks, we were told there weren't any.
After about 30 minutes, we walked by again, and the shop was still empty. The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful.
In addition, the cake was of very poor quality – I even got a stomachache afterward. I have rarely experienced such unfriendly treatment and such bad cake. Absolutely not recommended. The staff said they couldn't let us stay because they were expecting a group of 16 people. We had already bought cake and then had to walk around the city for half an hour with a small child, carrying the cake. When we asked for forks, they said they didn't have any.
After about 30 minutes, we passed by again and the shop was still completely empty. The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful.
On top of that, the cake was very bad — I even got a stomach ache afterwards. This was one of the worst experiences I've had in a café. I wouldn't recommend this place.

11/08/2024: Restaurant familial, ouvert essentiellement le midi, avec une proposition autour d'un plat du jour et trois ou quatre suggestions. Clientèle faite de nombreux habitués.
Service assuré par une équipe sympathique, à l'écoute et expérimentée.
Cuisine faite maison, efficace. On sent la maîtrise, tout en restant dans la cuisine de famille que la clientèle du restaurant attend. Je suis toujours ressorti satisfait de mes déjeuners.
