30/01/2026: There are moments in life when you make wonderful and friendly acquaintances. I must say that our visit to Wissembourg was superb: for the charming town itself, for the time my wife and I spent there, and also for the warm welcome from Anne and Nicolas, with whom we stayed and dined. Everything was perfect: the atmosphere, the comfort, and an absolutely superb meal. They are such pleasant and genuine people, and we will certainly return to see them if we are ever in the area again. Thank you both; you truly brightened our stay.

28/01/2026: A truly fantastic restaurant! The decor and atmosphere are excellent; you immediately feel at ease. We love coming here for lunch because there's a wide variety of choices and everything is always delicious. In the summer, it's especially pleasant to have lunch in the garden—a real haven of peace and quiet. The food is excellent, and the whole team is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it!

11/01/2026: My partner and I went to La Mirabelle, a bit by chance, after 1:30 pm on a Sunday, and we received a very warm welcome. We ordered two tarte flambées: a traditional one and one with Munster cheese, along with a side of fries, and everything was delicious. The tarte flambées are homemade, and we were served quickly and with a smile. We'll definitely go back as soon as we're in the area again! ☺️

11/12/2025: Flammkuchen in December – so of course, the autumn version with mushrooms and, to finish, with apples. We'll try the one with mirabelle plums next time.

07/12/2025: Excellent from start to finish. Delicious sauerkraut and sweet tarte flambée. I recommend it 1000%. Very friendly waitresses.

23/11/2025: Food was great, service terrible. The cuisine at A l'Homme Sauvage is truly outstanding – from the frog legs to the tarte flambée, everything was top-notch. The service, however, was chaotic: orders were taken, then forgotten, and only reappeared when it came time to pay. Drinks also simply got lost in the shuffle. Important for dog owners: Large dogs seem to be unwelcome here. My 40-kg Malamute, due to its size, briefly touched a neighboring table with its tail while standing – immediately prompting a snarky reprimand from the owner. At the same time, a small dog at the next table was allowed to sit at chair height and bark regularly without any reaction. This double standard was blatant. (Food for thought!) Conclusion: Excellent food, but the service and treatment of guests – especially owners of larger dogs – clearly need improvement.

31/01/2026: The rooms are very basic, but that's exactly what I wanted since we had planned activities in the area and didn't want to spend all day in the room. There's also a TV with German and French channels. The rooms are very clean and simply furnished. We paid €93 for three people for one night. We also booked breakfast for an additional €10 per person on the day of arrival. The breakfast was really extensive. All in all, we would stay here again.

09/01/2026: In France, they still know how to eat well. Everything was superbly prepared and seasoned. A true delight. Very attentive and extremely friendly service. I can highly recommend it.

14/12/2025: We had very high-quality food and excellent service. Our Chablis was also the perfect complement to the meal. The only slight drawback was that the Cordon Bleu was a little firm to the bite, but it was still delicious.

From the food and service to the ambiance, everything is absolutely remarkable. The dishes are sophisticated, original, full of flavor, and always exquisitely prepared. 16/12/2025: We were a couple at Au Pont M, having made a reservation beforehand. We were greeted and shown to a table directly overlooking the Lauter River. We were initially disappointed that the menu on the website didn't match the actual dinner menu. The room temperature was more suited to polar bears. 19°C is already borderline. The food we ordered was served promptly. However, the dishes were very bland. There were six tables occupied, and all the guests asked for salt. All the main courses were served with the same white sauce. My wife had cod, and I had lamb. I don't understand why the same sauce is appropriate for these different dishes. Since we didn't want dessert, the table was cleared completely at record speed. Apart from the tablecloth and a candle, nothing remained. This was a clear signal for us to vacate the table as quickly as possible. The ladies' restroom was very dirty and had to be cleaned by my wife before she could use it. In short, we won't be returning.
