14/02/2026: We experienced a truly timeless moment. Between the highly professional staff and the exceptionally flavorful cuisine, La Cabro d’Or made this an unforgettable experience.
The team also demonstrated remarkable attentiveness by immediately accommodating all my allergies. I sincerely thank the chef for his attentiveness and expertise.
We will definitely be back.
07/02/2026: We had dinner there on New Year's Eve.
The meal was excellent, as was the wine pairing.
However, I found plastic in my scallops.
The chef and staff apologized, but for a dinner for two costing over €1000, being "offered" a €40 discount is simply unacceptable for an establishment of this caliber. A shame...

The staff seemed suspicious of us, perhaps because we came during off-peak hours. Yet there were many of us…
The food was frozen and the prices exorbitant, all while the owner complained about our presence. Simply bizarre.

25/07/2025: This bar and restaurant is a great place to visit on a Sunday morning, if you're not afraid of crowds, the day the small but friendly weekly Sainte Thérèse market is held. Regulars flock to this café while they're shopping at the market. Continue on to the nearby Sainte Thérèse Church to admire its rugged architecture.

30/09/2025: So I ordered cod with snails (+some salad), it was well prepared, especially the fish. As for the snails, it was my first time eating them and honestly - it is not my thing 😊 Although I believe snails itself were prepared very well. My wife ordered beef tartare which was tasty (despite the fact that the English translation in the menu is not precise in comparison to French names...)
17/08/2025: I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was truly disappointing. The food was average at best, but what ruined the entire evening was the behavior of the manager — a woman with short hair who was shockingly rude and disrespectful.
From the moment we arrived, she seemed irritated and dismissive. When we asked simple questions about the menu, she responded with sarcasm and impatience. At one point, she even rolled her eyes and walked away mid-conversation. It felt like we were bothering her just by being there.
Hospitality should be about making guests feel welcome — not belittled. Her attitude was completely unprofessional and unacceptable for someone in a leadership role. I hope the owners take this seriously, because no matter how good the food might be, service like this drives customers away.

18/10/2025: Good food, very decent dishes but we really pissed off the waitress manager, no friendliness, definitely don't go there if you have young children because she clearly doesn't like them. So good but if you're looking for friendliness and a decent welcome in a restaurant to avoid

Cadre superbe avec vue sur les jardins et étang très bien entretenus.
Très vaste terrasse d'été avec tables bien dressées et intimes.
Cuisine raffinée.
Bon rapport qualité-prix .....Excellent moment pour une détente parfaite.
30/08/2024: Cuisine raffinée avec mets de qualité mais on peut regretter la quasi absence d’accompagnement sur le plat principal. Mon mari qui a bon appétit s’est calé avec du pain ! Nous avons été déçus par l’accord mets-vin et le service du sommelier qui nous a un peu oublié…

On est surpris du début à la fin, on n est pas simplement au restaurant mais en train d assister au spectacle d’un artiste et sa troupe
Et tout cela dans une ambiance simple et ultra conviviale
Ayant déjà fait plusieurs étoilés, je peux dire qu aucun ne m a autant agréablement surpris que celui ci
Nous reviendrons , c est certain !!!
20/08/2024: Le dîner à l'Oustau avec le chef Glen Viel était somptueux. Magnifique menu Ballade à 340€ avec notamment une bouillabaisse revisitée qui était incroyable. Le chef Viel vient discuter avec toutes les tables, il est charmant et très accessible et il prend même la pose pour faire quelques photos! Personnel très gentil et professionnel.

04/11/2024: We went for dinner on Saturday night, having taken the precaution of booking in advance… And we were so glad we did… After enjoying a generous platter of local charcuterie and cheeses as an appetizer, I savored the seared tuna with a creamy sauce, the flavors of which were incredible! My taste buds were in raptures… the flavors I experienced were amazing, I highly recommend it… Go for it, it's definitely worth the trip…
01/09/2024: I'm giving it one star because I can't give zero.
Awful. Frozen pizzas (starting at €15!!!) with added cheese to make them look more "homemade," a melon salad for €18 with chunks of melon and three slices of Aoste ham (I don't even know if it's Aoste, I think it's a generic brand), desserts straight from the freezer. Absolutely awful and overpriced.
I don't understand where the positive reviews come from... You're probably paying for the view, but as for the food: avoid it at all costs!!!

25/08/2024: The welcome was very friendly, the only slight drawback was that we had booked well in advance for six people. The meal was good but small in portion, and surprisingly, when we asked for dessert, there wasn't any. Not even a scoop of ice cream or anything else... a real shame.
24/08/2024: During a family vacation in the area, we enjoyed some very good pizzas. The setting is very pleasant, the service excellent, and the pizzas delicious.
As a vegetarian, I really enjoyed the 4 cheese and burrata.
Don't hesitate to give it a try.
