31/03/2024: We were disappointed by the quality of the slightly tough red meat, which we pointed out to the waitress who recognized that we were not the only ones to notice this. Too bad the boss didn't come to see us and also make a commercial gesture.
Then we were surprised to find that the coffee comes from a Nespresso machine, for an establishment like this it is very surprising.
The wine list is excessive.
Our starters were good, the crispy pork too. Very good chocolate desserts.

14/05/2024: We came for lunch on the Sunday of the ascent weekend with our grandfather. We were all really delighted with the welcome we received! The two bosses are adorable, very considerate. Personally, I have rarely been so well received in a restaurant. What a pleasure…
The meal is also excellent, very fresh and very local products, for very affordable prices.

31/03/2024: Our lunch “Au Pied des Marais” will remain engraved in our memories as one of our best culinary experiences!
The warm atmosphere, accentuated by the presence of a fireplace, immediately won us over, and the attentive staff with a passion for wine helped to make our experience even more pleasant.
The dishes were a real festival of flavors, with a special mention for the foie gras and the sea bass fillet, a real delight! The only small regret is that they could have offered us the suggestions of the day, but that in no way detracted from our enjoyment. Highly recommended for a gastronomic stay in Cabourg!

Tripe has a strong flavour, it is not "cleaned" before being cooked as we do in Italy but it must be a local way of cooking it.

We took the menu for €29.50 (starter, main course and dessert).
Starter: fish rillette. I found it a little bland so I added salt and pepper.
Dish: haddock steak accompanied by mashed potatoes and pea puree (at least, that's what I perceived). Served in a hot dish. Hearty and very good, so much so that I ate everything.
Dessert: not very impressed by the choice offered, I opted for the chocolate mousse. The shavings placed on top provide crunchiness to counterbalance the foam. A delight.
The staff is smiling and friendly.
We booked which seemed wise given the limited space remaining.

19/02/2024: You have to love crepes and pancakes but if you like you won't be disappointed! A choice of recipes that are a little less known or classic, but the discovery is very nice. The service is simple but efficient. The setting is not modern, I think it’s a choice, but it feels good there. To discover without worries!

06/04/2024: Very nice restaurant in the city center of Caen, its cheese and charcuterie display as well as its wall-mounted wine cellar make this place a very pleasant place to have a good time.
The dishes are elaborate and very good but I can only recommend the cheese/charcuterie tapas which are prepared directly in view of the customer
Came again today and once again not disappointed, the butcher's cut of the day was excellent

05/04/2024: The Burger joint in Honfluer. Cracking atmosphere. Extreme burger and chips but well worth the experience and price. A must do while in Honfluer.
31/03/2024: This place was awesome!!! They don't take reservations, but we got there right at 7:00pm and they had a table for us. The cocktails are amazing and beautiful. The burgers were perfect - we all ordered something different (beef, pork chicken) and each one was delicious. I also loved the décor of this place :)
P.S. I can't believe I almost forgot about the dessert, which was an Oreo tiramisu. It was mouth-watering and I think about it almost daily.
