12/05/2024: A very nice discovery. The room is tastefully decorated, the terrace offers us a beautiful view of rue de Vaugueux. We were very well received with our two dogs. Charming, smiling staff who listen to their customers' requests. The dishes are as beautiful as they are good. The presentation is careful and refined, the dishes are cooked with respect for the product and with finesse. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this address.

05/04/2024: The restaurant had a nice concept but the cuisine lacked perfection. The sauce was bland and so was the meat. I ordered a steak rare but what I received was medium rare.

31/03/2024: We were disappointed by the quality of the slightly tough red meat, which we pointed out to the waitress who recognized that we were not the only ones to notice this. Too bad the boss didn't come to see us and also make a commercial gesture. Then we were surprised to find that the coffee comes from a Nespresso machine, for an establishment like this it is very surprising. The wine list is excessive. Our starters were good, the crispy pork too. Very good chocolate desserts.

22/03/2024: Almost perfect. We took the menu for €29.50 (starter, main course and dessert). Starter: fish rillette. I found it a little bland so I added salt and pepper. Dish: haddock steak accompanied by mashed potatoes and pea puree (at least, that's what I perceived). Served in a hot dish. Hearty and very good, so much so that I ate everything. Dessert: not very impressed by the choice offered, I opted for the chocolate mousse. The shavings placed on top provide crunchiness to counterbalance the foam. A delight. The staff is smiling and friendly. We booked which seemed wise given the limited space remaining.

06/04/2024: Very nice restaurant in the city center of Caen, its cheese and charcuterie display as well as its wall-mounted wine cellar make this place a very pleasant place to have a good time. The dishes are elaborate and very good but I can only recommend the cheese/charcuterie tapas which are prepared directly in view of the customer Came again today and once again not disappointed, the butcher's cut of the day was excellent

For several years I have been going to this essential address and I enjoy the dishes that are offered to us. I always admire the culinary genius that is highlighted in a regularly renewed menu. 04/05/2024: The string has lost none of its fame! Known several years ago, some changes in layout... on the pancake side still the famous strip pancakes, but only the old-timers will recognize! The products are of quality, the pancakes are very good, and the cider too. Good service, decent time, and reasonable score. To do and redo, I recommend!

05/05/2024: Good morning. This restaurant is definitely worth reserving a table. We went there to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The welcome is perfect and you feel from the start that you will be taken care of. We chose the Caldeira menu, and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the appetizer through to dessert. The preparation of the dishes is magnificent, thank you to Chef Olivier and his second Romaric for making us taste so many local products of quality and flavors. The room service provided by Laura and Léonie is of exceptional quality, thank you ladies for all your little touches. 08/05/2024: Beautiful evening in this restaurant with a super nice old setting. Very warm welcome. Very good service. The manager is great! As for gastronomy, we taste a foie gras Sauternes and asparagus that live up to expectations, then a long-cooked lamb and its very tasty vegetables. Good choice of vegetables that we enjoy finding (turnips / carrots / artichokes / new potatoes...). All washed down with a very fruity Aligoté Burgundy - great - great discovery! A Norman hole to finish with a homemade apple sorbet...a taste of 100% preserved apple bathed in a magnificent calvados. A reasonable addition for the whole. Go there with your eyes closed if you haven't tried it yet! Thank you for this party.
