06/10/2026: I had æuf cocotte au saumon fumé for a starter and it was this salty creamy dish, which I dipped the bread into. I had an Italicus spritz for a drink. My main was Moules Camembert. It had this balance of cheesy, fresh and velvety taste from the sauce being emulsified. The mussels were cooked to perfection with its melts-in-your-mouth texture. 11/06/2026: Everything was perfect, generous burger, super good fries, excellent charcuterie and tuna rillettes, thank you to the cook and waitress, we loved eating there for the first time today, June 11, 2026, with my wife, we loved the meal and the atmosphere is cool and the employees are super nice and friendly, we highly recommend it and we ate well, it was excellent.

18/09/2026: What an introduction… We arrived on the terrace as a group of eight, including an 18-month-old baby. The waiter came to take our order and then called out to my brother: “Oh, you’re not a foreigner? Because earlier you didn’t respond when we said hello to you while we were inside.” My brother immediately apologized, very sincerely, explaining that he really hadn’t heard everything. Apparently, that wasn’t enough: what followed was a five-minute lecture about a missed greeting, the waiter being absolutely certain of what my brother had or hadn’t heard. We had come for a drink as a family, not to be given a lecture on basic etiquette. After several apologies and explanations to tell him that this really isn’t our style and, on the contrary, that we are quite friendly, the waiter persisted with his particularly hurtful, even humiliating, reproaches. We finally expressed our desire to leave, given the atmosphere, to which the waiter replied, "Well, very well, that's fine!" As we left, we noticed again how empty the terrace was compared to the packed Chat Bleu next door. We quickly understood why. I really don't recommend this bistro where friendliness rings hollow with bitterness.

25/09/2026: A soggy, leftover salmon waffle from the day before, topped with three measly, practically nonexistent pieces of fish on a lukewarm plate, for a completely outrageous price.

28/09/2026: Unfortunately, a huge disappointment – ​​not comparable to our stay last year. We stayed at L’Ex-Voto last year and had a very positive experience. That's precisely why we chose this accommodation again this year. Unfortunately, this year's experience was completely different. Despite the stated check-in time, no one was there when we arrived. After checking in and paying, we received the key and were then able to inspect the room ourselves. The condition of the room was unacceptable: The bed was badly creased and didn't look like it had been freshly made. There was still water in the kettle, and a used towel and bed linens were lying in a corner. The wardrobe was crammed full of crumpled linens and other textiles, rendering it unusable. Parts of the curtains were loose, and the flower boxes in front of the windows contained only withered plant remains. The condition of the bathroom was particularly problematic. There was clearly visible black mold on the shower, and the shower hose was also heavily infested with mold. We documented the condition of the property with photographs. Based on this, we decided not to stay there and to find another hotel in Honfleur at short notice. It's a shame, because our stay last year was completely different and precisely the reason we returned. An older, typically French house is absolutely no problem for us – old and charming is quite different from neglected and questionable in terms of hygiene. Therefore, after our experience this year, we unfortunately cannot recommend this accommodation.

13/06/2026: No welcome whatsoever. We asked for a table outside, and the man with glasses immediately offered us a table inside, even though there were empty tables. They seem to be selecting their customers based on appearance. We'll keep walking!

12/06/2026: The mussels in garlic cream were phenomenal, I'm still licking my fingers thinking about them!!!

02/10/2026: We ordered a Norman crêpe with apples. There were no apple pieces, only applesauce. An extra €3.50 for a tiny scoop of ice cream is outrageously expensive. We were very disappointed.

01/10/2026: Wasn’t given a booth because there was another table coming, and waiter explained it to me was incredibly rude and aggressive. Immediately left after that interaction.

27/05/2026: Our stay at this hotel was a real gem! Throughout our stay, Victor and Grégoire were welcoming, attentive, and caring hosts! The breakfast featured fresh, high-quality products! The hotel is right in the heart of Honfleur, with all amenities and activities nearby!

02/09/2026: The owners are very friendly and businesslike in their approach to customers. The galettes and crêpes are okay, nothing special. It's food to fill your stomach, but the prices are 25% too high for the quality.

24/08/2026: We came for lunch as a family a few days ago, on a very rainy day. And yet we thoroughly enjoyed the experience! The view is superb, the waiter is great, and we had a delicious meal! I highly recommend it!
