A very warm welcome, impeccable and highly professional service. The cuisine is refined, precise, and perfectly executed. Special mention also goes to the Americano, which was particularly well done—a rarity these days! And to top it all off: a breathtaking view.

Then go for it without hesitation! Sitting on the terrace overlooking Place Sainte Catherine is a real bonus, as it's only accessible to pedestrians.

15/04/2026: A very pleasant surprise! Quietly located on Rue de l'Homme de Bois, this eponymous restaurant is pleasantly removed from the "noisy" tourist crowds. A warm and friendly welcome, a small terrace to enjoy the good weather, and a cozy, wood-paneled dining room to suit your mood. Highly recommended!

14/04/2026: Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't live up to our expectations. We looked at the place, which was nice and had decent reviews, so we decided to make a reservation for a seafood dinner. We sat down at a round table, in a cozy and quiet atmosphere. The staff immediately handed us menus and took our orders: we chose the appetizer + main course + dessert option. I chose the fish soup, the fish of the day, and the Île flottante, which reminded me of my grandmother. The soup arrived quickly; it wasn't exceptional, but more than adequate: fragrant, served with the classic croutons and cheese. Then? Nothing: a good hour and a half had passed and the main course hadn't arrived... we waited about ten minutes and asked: we were told it was on its way, and in fact, after another ten minutes, it did. The fish of the day is a portion of rice, completely overcooked and with thinly sliced ​​broad beans, on top of which lie three fish fillets, supposedly sea bream, but they're also overcooked and flavorless. To top it all off, a sauce reminiscent of roast meat. In short, an unsightly combo, not up to par with any cuisine worthy of the name. And it's been over two hours since we ordered! What can I say about the dessert? An egg broth (the consistency is correct) that seems watered down, dominated by a cube of beaten egg white with an unnatural consistency, as if they'd used a thickener, and a vanilla flavor. Oh, I forgot, the 1-liter bottle of "do-it-yourself" mineral water costs €6.50! Conclusion: you spend around €45 per person for poor-quality food, cooked in a completely questionable manner, with decidedly slow service.

14/05/2026: A very pleasant visit today for a beer on the terrace. The establishment offers a wide selection of beers and the view is magnificent. A very good time.

10/05/2026: Uninteresting food. Not worth the trip. The baked egg was undercooked and the potatoes in the dish were raw.

09/05/2026: No experience to share, except for the shock of being turned away at 8:52 pm on a Saturday night when the restaurant advertised closing time as 10 pm, and only had one phone socket available. What a shame!
