21/03/2026: A truly beautiful restaurant! From cocktails to tea, everything was perfect! As were the owners!

14/03/2026: It had been a long time since I'd been there, but nothing had changed. The couscous was still just as good, the homemade pastries were delicious, and what can I say about the tea...wow. Perfect service.

14/03/2026: A charming address in Bourges. Inventive cuisine, fresh produce, and elegant presentation. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere very pleasant. A wonderful restaurant that you'll truly enjoy returning to.

11/03/2026: My friends and I had a wonderful evening at the restaurant Au Rez-de-Chaussée. From the non-alcoholic cocktail, prepared according to the waiter's evidently excellent mood—and which was delicious, by the way—to the dessert, everything was perfect. The appetizer, main course, and dessert were all flavorful, with perfectly executed cooking and a beautiful balance of tastes. The wine paired very well with the meat. In short, a truly wonderful experience and an evening we will definitely repeat!

10/03/2026: The cod was bland (but expensive), the service was sloppy (except for the trainee who was attentive and proactive), and the noise level was very high. In short, overrated.

08/03/2026: So. If you like Faulty Towers go here! Basic French dishes but lacking finesse and good preparation. So ….anyway I ordered black pudding and mashed potatoes. And that’s what I got! A single black pudding plonked on a pile of mash. No sauce, no vegetables or side dishes. When we politely asked for some vegetables we were told they are on the salad! He then gave a me a huge salad! It was hilarious. My wife ordered a ‘salmon croque’ which came out of the kitchen as salmon in between sliced white bread coated in cheese and baked. It was a bit basic lacklustre and arrived with a huge side of salad leaf. Owner of restaurant was more interested in drinking lots at bar with his mates rather than checking service. So overall a disappointing but hilarious show. We did check Google reviews and they appeared good? We paid €70 overall and I guess some life experiences are priceless!

04/03/2026: We had dinner with friends tonight in a warm and intimate setting. The welcome was more than perfect, and the atmosphere was simply divine! The staff is absolutely lovely, always ready with a joke, endlessly entertaining, and a beautiful musical selection that gently complements the meal. I highly recommend this place! The home-style cooking is delicious and prepared with care. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Refined and excellent cuisine, impeccable service with Annie's genuine smile and attentive service, subtle wine pairing suggestions. We'll be back soon. 14/02/2026: Excellent restaurant. Very rustic, just the way we like it. The service is perfect and the wait time is ideal. It's not our first time here and we've never been disappointed. Furthermore, the waitresses are incredibly kind and the welcome is so warm. We will come back again and again and we recommend it 10,000%! The tip is well deserved 👍🏼 Kudos to the chefs as well 🫶🏼 and thank you for your good cheer 🫶🏼

31/01/2026: You can tell they've put a lot of effort into the quality of the products, which makes it all the more disappointing because the steak in my hamburger was really bad. The fresh fries were very good but undercooked. Everything else was very good.

09/03/2026: Nice place and welcoming staff. The atmosphere is rather calm for a Friday evening. The dishes are good but not always live up to the menu. For example, the violet crème brûlée was practically tasteless. I regret not having tried the sweetbreads; I'll have to try them next time. This visit, however, was disappointing compared to my first time there.

12/02/2026: Great setting overlooking the golf course. The brunch menu is fantastic, generous, and changes weekly. The staff are friendly. I highly recommend it.
