17/09/2024: We have lived around Brive for 10 years and it was only 2 years ago that we discovered this restaurant. It has become an essential address for us. The chef takes us on an exploration of refined and delicious cuisine. From the starter to the dessert through the main course, with an Asian touch they make us discover wonderful flavors to the greatest pleasure of our taste buds. And rare, even the children's menu is delicious.
The service is carried out by someone diligent who knows the products and who advises them very well.
For us, it is one of the top 3 restaurants in Brive.

21/08/2024: Quite disappointed with the tastes! The menu at 41st is tempting but the foie gras starter is sorely lacking in foie gras, and what about the pavlova which only has one strawberry even though it is a strawberry-based dessert. The type of dough on which the meringue is placed is no substitute for strawberries!
The waitresses on the other hand are top notch!
Overall too expensive for what it is... I won't go back!

01/10/2024: Ce n'est plus la Truffe Noire que ns connaissions.pas ouvert le dim.ni pr Pâques..et la resp.déj.pas loin de ns mais n'a pas passé voir les clients ...
27/09/2024: Habitués du restaurant depuis sa réouverture, nous constatons une dégradation récurrente : plus d'amuse-bouches, vin servi dans verres à eau, poisson non cuisiné mais accompagné de sauce et légumes bien relevées. Surtout vraiment déçu par le carré d'agneau à 32 euros à la carte qui pour moitié était du gras immangeable. Signalement fait au serveur qui devait remonter le constat, mais aucun geste commercial, pour compenser comme un simple café offert! Nous ne reviendrons pas.

28/08/2024: In my opinion, the best times there are over, the food is heavy, every dish has the same sauce, far too expensive and, above all, it takes an endless amount of time (even though only one other table in the restaurant was occupied) until you finally get the food. If it hadn't taken so long we would have eaten another dessert, so we left as quickly as possible.

26/09/2024: Poorly heated in winter, very noisy, WiFi from the last century.
Response to the owner: let's talk about summer, air conditioning is mandatory whether we like it or not, because of the centralized system if we turn it off in the evening it turns back on by itself in the morning, we are woken up by the noise and cold! If you could just let customers choose their own comfort temperature, that would be one less source of problem, since you haven't bothered to do a minimum of sound insulation.
WiFi works when it wants and certain online gaming functions are unusable, especially on PlayStation.
