24/02/2026: We went there as a group of four, thinking we'd find the daily specials for €10. Of course, they weren't available, supposedly... One of the people with me found a knife point in their dish. We reported it, but the dish wasn't replaced or refunded. Even worse, the owner (who is also the cook) denied there was a knife point. I personally found a thick, dark hair, about 5 cm long, in my omelet. And to top it all off, my coffee was served in a dirty cup (various stains outside and on the counter). I suggested to the cook that it would be wise to put a hairnet in the kitchen, and he replied that he was 62 years old and had never done so, instead of simply apologizing for the incident, especially since I hadn't complained during the meal, given what had already happened. Generally speaking, the food wasn't very good; my porcini omelet barely tasted of porcini, and €18 for that portion is outrageous. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant even if these incidents hadn't occurred.

05/03/2026: I stayed one night for business and was in for a nasty surprise. The room was dilapidated with no soundproofing; I could hear my neighbors talking! The bathroom was practically unsanitary!
04/03/2026: The room for two was exactly as pictured.
The welcome was pleasant.
We opted for half-board and thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant meal: fresh, homemade dishes at an affordable price and with quick service.
We'll be back! 🙂

13/02/2026: The waitress was very unpleasant, but judging by the comments, I think the manager couldn't care less and has never asked his colleagues for even a modicum of politeness and courtesy, especially in a business setting. I think the waitress should put up a sign at the entrance saying "GET OUT."

23/09/2024: We stopped at the Flunch in Brive-la-Gaillarde on our way to the North from our vacations.
What a pleasant surprise! This is one of the cleanest Flunchs we have visited.
We saw the manager ensuring that everything was in order, with dynamic and organized teams.
The welcome was warm, and above all, the dishes were served piping hot.
Congratulations to the entire team for this impeccable service.
We will come back with pleasure.

26/09/2024: Poorly heated in winter, very noisy, WiFi from the last century.
Response to the owner: let's talk about summer, air conditioning is mandatory whether we like it or not, because of the centralized system if we turn it off in the evening it turns back on by itself in the morning, we are woken up by the noise and cold! If you could just let customers choose their own comfort temperature, that would be one less source of problem, since you haven't bothered to do a minimum of sound insulation.
WiFi works when it wants and certain online gaming functions are unusable, especially on PlayStation.

11/02/2026: The receptionist was very kind and helpful, the room was clean and well-maintained, and the bed was comfortable. The location is perfect, right in front of the train station, and Uber Eats delivers until late directly to the hotel, so it's great! 👌🏼

19/11/2025: Good location on the edge of the highway in a busy commercial area (supermarket, restaurants, etc.) near the city center (though you'll need a car or bike to get there). Relatively quiet. Friendly welcome. Reasonable prices. Acceptable comfort. Spacious, well-furnished rooms. BUT. The rooms are outdated, poorly heated, difficult access to the ground-floor rooms (stairs), uninsulated doors, an overly heavy front door, and no towels on my second visit, for which I was upgraded. And an absurd and unreasonable ban on bringing outside food! I've never seen anything like it! Even though the breakfast is quite disappointing, being rather ordinary compared to others at the same high price.
28/09/2025: Rooms to review we slept in a family room without heating we slept with our clothes on and without taking a shower because we couldn't turn on the shower luckily the next day at reception which wasn't the same person offered us breakfast oh yes but just a coffee with a small mini croissant don't imagine the full breakfast but I thank you anyway

Overall, I'm disappointed. Already a delay in the delivery of the order but hey, it can happen. On the other hand, the cooking of the Steak was not specified when ordering. Result: a steak that was too rare.
Moreover, the sauce costs 1 euro....when you see the quantity, it's just a shame.
I asked for a bottle of desperados, I received a can, which is less bulky.
I also ordered a tiramisu which looked homemade, I received an industrial tiramisu.
I can understand that the photos are not contractual but this is just what I call a deceptive commercial practice.
This is my first order and my last. I don't like having this feeling of being a cash cow.

17/08/2024: En transit pour notre lieu de vacances, nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce resto dans l’idée d’une pause agréable sans y passer 2h pour autant. Manque de bol, une erreur dans le service nous a fait attendre nos plats plus de 45 minutes… Heureusement #1 > les plats étaient très corrects
Heureusement #2 > le resto a été très commerçant en appliquant une belle remise sur toute la note
22/04/2024: Grosse déception, une petite cuisse de confit de canard dure, une galette de pommes de terre grasse et 2 feuilles de salade cuites dans l’huile. Le tout sans doute réchauffé au micro onde car très vite froid. Pour le café gourmand, il ne correspondait pas pour moitié à celui annoncé et la mousse chocolat café était remplacée par une sorte de salade fruits rouges ( décongelés ?) qui nageaient dans l’eau , le tout insipide !!!
Nous avions l’habitude de nous arrêter là lors de nos trajets mais nous allons chercher une autre table pour nous accueillir.
