03/07/2026: I confess I didn't understand the appeal of this restaurant. Always curious about food and a bit of a gourmand, I take great pleasure in discovering new places, especially when they are recommended to me. Unfortunately, this experience was a real disappointment. When I'm looking for an exceptional gastronomic experience, I don't mind spending over €300 for a memorable meal, such as at the Charlemagne restaurant in Beaune. Conversely, I equally appreciate hearty, authentic regional cuisine, provided the price is reasonable. Here, I felt there was a mismatch of styles that didn't work. The most striking example is the ribeye steak "for two people," offered at €140, with no indication of the weight on the menu. The meat was decent, but far from exceptional considering the price. Most importantly, the portion proved insufficient: we left feeling hungry again, which is particularly frustrating at this price point. Out of curiosity, I asked about the weight of the ribeye. The answer was very approximate: "between 600 and 700 grams." Even accepting this estimate, that translates to a price between €200 and €233 per kilogram. I confess I have serious doubts about the stated weight given what we were served, but let's assume it's accurate. This price seems completely disproportionate for a ribeye of this quality. I have had the opportunity, on numerous occasions, to taste exceptional ribeyes and cuts of beef, whether aged or from prestigious breeds, in specialized or gourmet establishments, both in Paris and in the provinces. Prices of this magnitude are understandable when accompanied by truly exceptional meat, remarkable aging, a clearly valued origin, or extraordinary expertise. Unfortunately, I found none of these elements here. In total, the bill came to €289 for three people, for a meal that was, all things considered, quite ordinary and rather bland. Quite honestly, if I'm going to spend that much, I'd rather book a table at a genuine Michelin-starred restaurant. Conversely, if I'm looking for traditional, convivial cuisine, many establishments in the region offer at least equivalent quality for a much more reasonable price and a more transparent menu. Ultimately, it's not so much the price that bothers me as the feeling of not getting my money's worth. I'm willing to pay a high price, without any qualms or regrets, when the service justifies it. Here, unfortunately, that wasn't the case. In my opinion, and this is just my opinion, this place isn't worth the trip. Don't waste your time.

06/07/2026: We had the pleasure of inaugurating the new back terrace of La Garaudière, furnished with high tables and stools. A true haven of happiness, convivial and full of charm, with a beautiful view of the garden. We shared dishes in a homey atmosphere… but with the added bonus of being pampered by an attentive team. Special mention goes to the chef's chicken and foie gras pâté en croûte, simply delicious! All accompanied by a bottle of wine, perfectly chosen to enhance the meal. A gourmet, warm, and convivial interlude, where you truly feel at ease. An address we wholeheartedly recommend!

18/06/2026: The people were very sweet - the ambiance is amazing. Could have been amazing, however we paid € 56 euros for 2 x half a chicken, which was significantly undercooked. We had to go because our baby was almost exploding to take a nap - but they did not offer any discount, did not say sorry or apology. For a good restaurant to serve raw chicken is simply a hard no go. Could have been great!
