18/04/2026: Hello, we came two weeks ago for dinner. I have celiac disease and had let them know in advance; the gluten-free option was perfectly accommodated. The food was delicious; we had the duck with Époisses sauce, which was absolutely divine. The service was attentive, friendly, and professional. The chef took the time to chat with us after our meal, which was a lovely moment. It's a shame we don't live nearby so we could go back regularly! We will definitely return on our next trip to Beaune. This restaurant is a gem.

31/03/2026: We've been going there every year for the past nine years at the end of October. And a few times more. We had the pleasure of returning just before receiving their Michelin star, wishing the team continued success! And they did. So we'll be back with pleasure, as usual, at the end of October. Always new flavors, discoveries, innovative presentation, always a feast for the eyes and the palate. The tobacco dessert was surprising, disconcerting, but definitely worth a visit!

29/03/2026: Spending three hours in this place was pure bliss. Everyone involved (chefs, servers, etc.), like musicians, played their part flawlessly. We were lucky to be seated right next to the counter where the chef was preparing her desserts. Everything was perfect. Best wishes for the future. I can't wait to go back and discover a new seasonal menu.

17/04/2026: "Charming" gets so overused, but I can't think of a better description for Le Carpe Diem. Here's everything you need to know: I was the only person speaking English there. Everone else? En Fracais. The hostess and I were able to bridge the linguistic gap with my smattering of French and her grand command of English. My reward? A succulent Boeuf Bourguignon that was melting off my fork, and a sauce that took a basket of bread to soak up. The fresh root vegetables were allowed to show off their natural flavors and were perfectly cooked, being soft without being mushy. Oh yeah, the bill, including two glasses of an excellent Cote du Hermitage? 50 Euro. Yeah, this would have been a $100+ meal in the States. So, amazing food, amazing service, amazing price? That's 5 stars well-earned right there.

04/04/2026: A superb discovery during my visit to the city; everything was perfect, from the service to the food. I thoroughly enjoyed the beef bourguignon. The welcome was very pleasant. For such high-quality service, I even found the price more than reasonable.

17/03/2026: If you want to sample authentic Burgundian cuisine, this is the place to be. The ‘oeufs en meurette’ and the ‘boeuf bourguignon’ are exquisite. The service is also very friendly and efficient. The restaurant is also very atmospheric, especially downstairs, where you sit in the vaulted ceilings.

20/04/2026: I am afraid that I don't have similar experience than other reviews. The service we had was unfortunately not as good as I read from here. I rarely, if it was not the first, had the same wine glass for white and red. The meals were tasty especially the dessert. The worst surprise was that I found out after leaving Beaune that I paid 132.4€ rather than 123.4€ written on the bill. It was probably unintentional but yeah rather disappointed.
