15/07/2026: Due to time constraints, we only did the tasting, not the cellar and vineyard tour. The session was well-structured and the explanations were very clear. Several wines of varying quality were offered, including a grand cru. The facilities are set up to accommodate a large number of guests. The staff were very professional. We were very satisfied with our visit to Aloxe-Corton.

17/05/2026: A very enjoyable time at Le Carpe Diem. The place is quite discreet, a little off the beaten path, with a calm and pleasant atmosphere. The service is delightful. The menu features Burgundian cuisine, with frog legs 🐸 and snail croquettes being a real surprise. The veal kidney with mustard sauce is very flavorful, and the beef bourguignon is melt-in-your-mouth tender. Paired with a good red Burgundy, it's hard to imagine a better experience!

17/05/2026: An ideal place to discover Burgundian cuisine skillfully reimagined by the chef. A warm welcome and excellent value for money. It's slightly set back from Place de la Libération, but well worth the trip! Book ahead, you won't be disappointed.

30/06/2026: The restaurant is recommended for a relaxed dining experience. The food was good, but nothing special. I would have liked more seasoning, lemon, and salt on my pike-perch dish. But food is always a matter of taste and can be rated differently. The crème brûlée was perfect for me, and the service was professional. Since we were left sitting with our empty plates for quite some time, I deducted one star. All in all, the price-performance ratio is good.

15/07/2026: A group of 13 of us dined here for my birthday celebration dinner and it was delightful. A small restaurant in a quiet square in Beaune. The service was top notch and we weren't rushed at all. A small but very good selection of meat and fish options, and every dish was beautifully presented. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.
