09/09/2026: The dishes were worthy of a Michelin star. They were beautifully presented, delicious and light. No feeling of having over eaten. The staff were all very professional and friendly.

08/09/2026: The stubborn refusal to let me into the table 10 minutes before my reservation time is a bad start! I've never experienced anything like it. Not even at the doctor's office!

13/09/2026: Admittedly a little further from Saint Guirec beach, but only a 2-minute walk, don't hesitate. Excellent food, pleasant service—this place is a very pleasant surprise. A superb John Dory, and a delicious dessert, a verbena parfait. It truly lived up to its name. Thank you for this delightful evening. You deserve to be better known.

13/09/2026: While on vacation in Ploumanac'h, we went to this restaurant for dinner as a group of four. The food was perfect, the dishes generous, flavorful, and beautifully presented. However, what spoiled the experience was the unpleasant waiter, who seemed to be the owner's partner, and who didn't seem to understand that customers might have specific cooking requests. For him, it was inconceivable to ask for the fish served that evening to be "well-done" and not "pink on the bone." He even suggested ordering meat if the fish wasn't cooked to our liking and refused to ask the chef about it... Unacceptable! Yet, the chef, who came to greet us at the end of the meal, seemed perfectly open and friendly. We would have given it 5/5 if this "pseudo" professional had been less obtuse and aggressive. It's worth noting that the waitress was very smiley, pleasant, and helpful. It's a real shame because the chef's cuisine is definitely worth trying.

15/09/2026: The service was friendly and attentive, and the wine recommendation was excellent. Unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect for us. We went to Le4 based on a recommendation and were sadly disappointed by the food. The salad was missing dressing, and the small amount of dressing that was there was far too acidic. The skate wing was well-cooked and juicy, but the tarragon butter completely overpowered the flavor. There was also far too much lemon, which dominated the fish. The fish and chips were particularly disappointing – sadly, worse than much of what you get even in a simple English pub. Overall, we got the impression that good, fresh ingredients were available, but the preparation and balance of flavors were simply off. "Café Gourmand" here unfortunately comes across as operating under the motto: We'd like to, but we can't quite manage it yet.

24/08/2026: We absolutely loved our 7 days at Maison de Marie, an ideal base for exploring the Pink Granite Coast. The "Sea View" room and its en-suite bathroom are spacious, elegant, and very comfortable—a true haven after a day of sightseeing. Daniel is an exceptional host, warm and attentive. He shared all his invaluable advice on activities, must-sees in the region, and his excellent restaurant recommendations. A special mention goes to his delicious breakfasts, prepared with great care: a real treat! We also particularly appreciated all of Daniel's thoughtful touches… so lovely and touching! In short, we shared simple, authentic, and convivial moments with our host, which perfectly reflect the quality of the welcome we received. 23/08/2026: A charming stopover to base yourself for visiting the pink granite cliffs. Daniel is an exceptional host who made our stay relaxing in an elegant and welcoming setting. The room was gorgeous and the breakfast was carefully prepared. Daniel provided us with all the information we needed to make sure we didn't miss anything during our stay in this region.
