06/09/2026: A magnificent setting, a superb meal with surprising yet perfectly balanced flavors. The service was also cheerful, which is a real plus in a place like this.
In the photo are some of the dishes served:
- Duck breast with a variety of corn preparations
- Meagre fillet with vegetables and a triple sec emulsion
- Lemon, fennel, and black sesame ice cream tartlet
- Pistachio and raspberry dessert in various textures
After a stroll along the Sèvre River, we were able to stop a second time for refreshments. A wonderful place to recommend, in a peaceful and very pleasant setting.
06/09/2026: Exceptional! Yesterday, September 5th, was a day to remember. Thank you for this 5-star menu; we wish we could have given it 1,000 stars! An incredible starter, main course, and dessert, with unique flavors, preparation, presentation, and service. The cookies with whipped cream were perfect with the coffee, and the petits fours accompanied the delicious rum cocktail. The setting is chic and idyllic, and for celebrating our Aunt Millette's 90th birthday in style, we couldn't have hoped for anything better. Thank you to her for the invitation, and thank you to you for this pleasure and these wonderful moments. Congratulations to the entire team!

31/08/2026: I love coming here; I'm becoming a regular. The bill always stings a bit, but I know what I'm paying for. The service is top-notch, the servers are attentive and offer great advice, and the food is always high-quality and expertly prepared. The dining room is a little small, which might make it seem a bit noisy, but that's... well, that's up to the customers!

I highly recommend it.
08/09/2026: Superb atmosphere in a welcoming place. The owners take care of their customers with a smile, and the rums are carefully prepared by the owner himself 👌. You absolutely must go there on evenings with entertainment; it's like a trip to the islands. Don't miss it.

01/09/2026: The wait between courses was too long. The beef tataki was inedible, too tough. The steak tartare was sloppily cut with a knife. The tartare preparation wasn't great. Consider changing the head chef. I know the Hippopotamus in Nancy very well; it's perfect. Find the people in charge, or you'll go out of business.

07/09/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by the service. It was my first time at this restaurant, which had been recommended to me, especially for its reasonably priced lunch menu! Indeed, the fish was delicious and melted in your mouth, simply perfect. The dessert was also very good. While we waited, they served us some snacks. Everything was refined! I was very impressed (in a good way) by the quality of the service! I highly recommend it, especially for lunch, for those who want to treat themselves, like I did, but still want to stay within reasonable and affordable prices for the quality of the experience.
I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back!

A delicious, flavorful soup that warms both body and soul, followed by a chicken croque monsieur. Simple, effective, and so good when it's homemade!! Thank you

Everything was impeccable from arrival to departure.
The welcome and service were perfect. The menu offered a wide range of choices. The service was quick, the tasting exquisite, and the portions generous without being heavy.
The prices are affordable; in short, nothing but positive things to say.
Thank you again for this pleasant experience.

05/09/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant.
We arrived at 8:15 pm and waited until 9:05 pm to be served, which is already a particularly long time.
We ordered a "Run in the Beach" cocktail, but it was mostly ice and very little cocktail.
For our meal, we ordered a medium-rare steak. The meat arrived rare. The parsley sauce was also far too strong and spicy, to the point of completely masking the taste of the meat. We had asked for Café de Paris sauce, but we simply never received it.
Finally, the service unfortunately did not make up for the rest. The waitress was unpleasant, threw the receipt on the table, and after wishing us a good evening with a smile that seemed very forced, her attitude changed immediately as soon as she left.
An overall disappointing experience, especially considering the price. We will not return.
05/09/2026: The burger was bland, lacking flavor and texture. The dessert was awful: a lemon tart 🍋 with no crust, too much cream, and very sickening. Disappointed for the second time...
