The servers are excellent, no complaints there, but the problem lies with the manager when it comes time to pay. He charged us for three bottles instead of one.
We came back two minutes later, having realized the mistake. He knew perfectly well that there was an extra €44 on a bill of approximately €180, since he mentioned it himself before pulling out a calculator and pretending to recalculate in front of us.
Frankly, I don't recommend this restaurant.

A very warm welcome with a waiter who was incredibly attentive throughout the meal 😍 😀 and a very friendly owner.
The food was truly high quality and the presentation was impeccable. The restaurant was full, yet we never had to wait between courses.
I highly recommend this establishment in Parthenay (be sure to book in advance if you want to enjoy it 😀)

21/02/2026: A warm welcome following a car breakdown that stranded us for the night. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations (something to be aware of), so this is a minor drawback for guests seeking a top-notch experience. For a stopover on the holiday route, the location is adequate. There's a suitable restaurant nearby, as well as the Leclerc shopping center which has a newsagent/tobacconist.
27/01/2026: I've been staying there for several weeks and will be for a few more. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is nice, and the owner is nice.

16/08/2024: I entered the restaurant and asked for a table for four. The very unfriendly waiter told me to sit here next to the kitchen. I told him it was too hot and asked if there was a table on the terrace. He replied, "If that doesn't suit you, sit somewhere else." So I did.

12/08/2024: Surprised by the kindness of all the staff. Top meal, lots of choice, we can help ourselves as many times as we want. €15 for a complete meal with wine. Nothing to complain about. Bravo, I recommend.
Just hard to find, look for the cattle market roundabout and you will find it.
