25/06/2026: Excellent and original cuisine, with truly interesting flavors. The service is also very pleasant. One small point for improvement: the side dishes could be a little more generous. Also, during a heatwave, avoid the window seats, which heat up very quickly.

We returned this Sunday and were a little disappointed by the slow service, no butter or bread to eat with the oysters, and we had to ask for mayonnaise (which wasn't spicy enough for my taste) for the seafood platter. The melon soup for the daily special was replaced with a scoop of strawberry ice cream in the fruit salad without any explanation... What a shame...

05/03/2026: My usual crêperie was full, and I stumbled upon this timeless restaurant tucked away in a courtyard near the Quimper train station. Everything seems frozen in the 80s/90s: spacious tables, period decor, a welcoming waiter with his lanyard draped over his arm, a wine list binder with photos and descriptions of the wines and their producing regions, Tavel served in an ice bucket with glasses regularly refilled 😳 The food is simple, homemade, and delicious. Wines are reasonably priced and mostly available by the half-bottle. A very pleasant surprise that I will gladly return to.

28/06/2026: A place to have a beer or a snack. Charcuterie boards. They speak some Spanish. In the city center, next to the magnificent cathedral.

27/06/2026: We stopped there by chance and weren't disappointed at all. The welcome was incredibly friendly. We had a delicious meal of salad and mussels and fries on the terrace. Good desserts too. A place we'll definitely remember in Quimper.
