15/03/2026: Excellent home cooking! The menu changes weekly. No disappointments!

07/03/2026: Being in Brittany and serving a Findus Fish (yes, the shape and taste are exactly the same as the Findus product) with fries that looked like they came from the bottom of a deep fryer. All for €17. What a disgrace!!! Yet they proudly advertise "We cook here..." Just so you know: this is the first time I've ever left a negative review on Google, but they need to stop taking advantage of their customers.

13/02/2026: Having traveled throughout France for about forty years and dined in many restaurants, I can say today that the bar-restaurant Le Corniguel is an excellent place, both for the quality of the welcome (Olivia, Lena) and the cuisine prepared by Chef Anthony, as well as the speed of the service. All this in a warm and inviting atmosphere (spacious and bright dining room), served by Rosita and her team, always with a smile and helpful advice. Unbeatable value for money! Clearly our favorite crêperie, which we recommend to everyone!

01/02/2026: We had a wonderful time at Le Fil Rouge. Unanimously (and yet there were 13 of us at the table... sorry for the noise!). A very warm welcome and top-notch service. Special mention to the young guy for his very first night working extra shifts 👏, to the ultra-professional restaurant manager, and to the owner... still as friendly as ever, even nearing retirement. We wish him all the best for the future! A truly delightful evening. 👍👏👏👏 All the best (and perhaps we'll see you again at his son's place in Douarnenez 😉)

07/03/2026: Disappointing! We're regulars at this restaurant, but what's going on? The scallops made my husband sick all night, and for me, the cod fillet with its cold vegetables swimming in oil... impossible to digest. The tarte tatin was iced! Not the quality we're used to! We won't be going back!

25/02/2026: Set menu at €25. The seafood appetizer was bland. A shame, the puff pastry was very good. The fish was okay. The chocolate cake was dry.

19/12/2025: I just ate dinner here and it was simply delightful. The gallettes and crepes were absolutely delicious and we had such a nice chat with the two women running the creperie. I will definitely be coming back at least once every time I find myself in Quimper.

05/03/2026: My usual crêperie was full, and I stumbled upon this timeless restaurant tucked away in a courtyard near the Quimper train station. Everything seems frozen in the 80s/90s: spacious tables, period decor, a welcoming waiter with his lanyard draped over his arm, a wine list binder with photos and descriptions of the wines and their producing regions, Tavel served in an ice bucket with glasses regularly refilled 😳 The food is simple, homemade, and delicious. Wines are reasonably priced and mostly available by the half-bottle. A very pleasant surprise that I will gladly return to.

16/01/2026: Le Patio is a restaurant that deserves to be better known. Almost invisible from the main avenue near the train station, it's tucked away in a small courtyard (hence the name "Patio") and you have to pass under an archway to reach it. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting, thanks in large part to the yellow color scheme and the wooden furniture. We were greeted by a gentleman, a most charming and pleasant man. His attire was impeccable: black trousers, a white shirt, a black waistcoat, and a bow tie. You'd think you were in a grand Parisian or Lyonnaise brasserie. I complimented him on that! As for the food, it's all fresh and prepared on-site, with about five or six appetizers to choose from, two daily specials: one fish of the day, one meat of the day, and about five or six desserts, including a cheese plate. The prices for the meal, aperitifs, and wine list are very reasonable... Don't go there to show off; you won't be seen from the station avenue. Go there to enjoy a pleasant time around a lovely, home-style table, in a warm and peaceful setting, with impeccable service. I absolutely recommend it and will return on my next trip to Quimper.

The food is excellent, the service is attentive, and the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. Go without hesitation; you'll leave with a smile and a full stomach! We discovered it on Tuesday and will definitely be back! Congratulations to the whole team; you brighten people's days with your warmth and humanity.

19/01/2026: An experience to avoid. The room was already far too small for the number of customers, the products were overpriced, and the noise was truly unbearable, making conversation impossible. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager, but nothing was changed, and there was no gesture of goodwill or apology from him. Shameful, absolutely avoid!
