18/09/2026: Chicken in tarragon sauce with a few fries. I'm not giving it 5 stars because of the small portion of fries on the plate. However, we were given more fries free of charge after asking for them!

The restaurant was practically empty... if this is the restaurant's policy, the owner could have explained it to us more politely.

12/09/2026: The products are simple but the ingredients are top-notch. Also, the staff is welcoming and the music is good, making it the perfect place to enjoy a nice breakfast in a cozy and charming spot in Bordeaux.

03/09/2026: Note: I've only been there once. I thought it was a great place for climbing; the walls have varying levels of difficulty, making it both fun and challenging. There's a small climbing wall. You can rent climbing shoes for €4.50. There are changing rooms with hairdryers, showers, and toilets (which were clean, perhaps because I went in the morning and finished when it was busier). The cafeteria was packed; people seemed to be having a great time, and the food looked delicious.

05/08/2026: We took a trial lesson for our children. I sincerely recommend this instructor 100%! The teacher was incredibly kind, patient, and adapted to the children. We were warmly welcomed from beginning to end. Thank you so much for the children. We will be back!

25/08/2026: The coffee is disastrously bad. Three people work there, but the service is even worse than the coffee. Don't bother going.

20/08/2026: Nice bar. You do have to move to be served, but at least you don't have to flag down a waiter and you pay immediately. Good selection of draft beers, especially the Gasconia. Nice wine list. Friendly staff and a large terrace.

15/09/2026: The atmosphere, looks and location of the Brasserie Bordelaise carry this establishment....but the food is a big let down. This is really is a tourist restaurant and the quality of the food shows....such a shame, could be better. The wine list is good, but really how could you fail in respect to wine when you are located in the centre of Bordeaux. Of particular note was the cheese board for dessert, which was extremely drab. Large quanities of very similar cows cheese that was too warm and felt like it came from a supermarket. Where is the imagination here? As other reviewers have said, there are much better places to eat at in central Bordeaux.

15/09/2026: A place where history was written! You'll probably be surprised by how many seats there are...about 220 in different parts and floors. The menu is classic French Brasserie, I recommend the fish tartare or the farmer's chicken... the flagship wine here is Chateau Picque Caillou from Pessac, both red and white. But you'll also find a cellar with a pretty decent wine shop, where you can choose from lots of great wines!

29/07/2026: Hello, We used Charlie & Tom for a company lunch held during our onboarding seminars for the employees of our Nuances agencies. All of our employees gave us excellent feedback on the service we chose. For a lunch in a meeting room, we opted for the "Cagettes" package for a group of 11 people. Throughout our discussions, we felt listened to and advised. The result was a success. We highly recommend the service provided by Charlie & Tom. We will definitely use them again when the opportunity arises. Thank you.

01/09/2026: I feel compelled to leave one star to share this unfortunate experience… The servers only smile when you pay them. My friend's pint of beer was served with no head at all and was less than 50cl. And the gin fizz? Don't even get me started… The terrace was littered with cigarette butts, and we were seated at dirty tables with overflowing ashtrays. Walk 10 meters; you'll find better seats.

23/08/2026: We were slightly disappointed with the quality of the food; it was less elaborate and the portions smaller compared to previous dinners. The mojito was very weak and not sweet enough. In short, we were disappointed, which is a shame!

05/06/2026: An authentic place, the likes of which are becoming increasingly rare. Here, genuine people gather over a drink, a good meal, and heartfelt conversation. No pretense, just a warm atmosphere, friendly people, and the spirit of the Chartrons district. A place that has kept its soul.

17/09/2026: This is our neighborhood canteen! So happy to see this restaurant open near us! The owner is very friendly, as are the staff! We've already been 3 or 4 times and will gladly go back!

26/04/2026: I was incredibly disappointed. Whenever I'm in Bordeaux, I go to Noailles twice. This time I made a reservation for lunch. But the restaurant was closed. There was an apology sign on the door explaining that something serious had happened. That was all. I had a lot of trouble finding a decent restaurant nearby—which is practically nonexistent in that part of Bordeaux—and ended up with an unpleasant lunch in a tourist trap. It's a real shame. I hope Noailles reopens.
