10/06/2026: Perfect service even at 2 pm 😅 I come here regularly for lunch with my father; we always find something we like, and the price-quality ratio is acceptable.

17/05/2026: Absolutely awful experience. We ordered the French onion soup and it arrived in a huge pot that was barely 1/4 full. That should have been the first warning sign. After our entrees, we sat there for OVER AN HOUR waiting for our main courses while our waiter completely ignored us. He spent all his time with other tables while we were left sitting there wondering where our food was. As two small girls, it honestly felt like we were easy to dismiss and not worth paying attention to. We felt completely disrespected. The worst part was when the waiter finally came back to our table, he asked if we wanted dessert or coffee — completely forgetting that our main meals had NEVER EVEN ARRIVED. When we went to pay, they were still ready to charge us for the mains we never received. No apology, no accountability, nothing. That level of incompetence is unbelievable. We also noticed a couple seated next to us leave because it took so long just to get menus. Clearly we were not the only people having a horrible experience. I genuinely do not understand how this place has such a high rating. One of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. So many better places in Bordeaux with excellent food and service. Do not recommend.

17/05/2026: Very good food! Would recommend! Confit du Canard and bouef bourguignon were our favourites - super tasty and tender. Onion soup was good, but nothing special, mostly considering the price. Overall would recommend and come back!

16/07/2026: My friends and I came for dinner and to watch the match on July 14th. I wanted to commend the professionalism of the staff who were attentive to our needs, kept track of our orders, and ensured our comfort despite the exceptional circumstances (the restaurant was very crowded). It was lovely to see waitresses who always kept a smile on their faces!

06/07/2026: Loved this place. Staff was amazing. There was a family next to us, and the wait staff was incredibly kind to the children. 10/10, no notes.

19/07/2026: A very good lunch break. The savory crepes were generously filled and made fresh. The welcome and service were pleasant. However, it would be much better from a hygiene standpoint to add the ice cubes using a large spoon, rather than your hands. I'm just mentioning it because I saw it being done, but otherwise, no complaints. A little clarification for Olga, the Breton: Buckwheat flour and black wheat flour are the same thing 🤪

10/07/2026: Last night, we spent the evening with friends for a birthday, and although we hadn't ordered a cake in time, a waiter, Vic, and the cook (whose name escapes me) were amazing in allowing my sister to blow out her candles by making us two small tarts at the last minute! Thank you to them for their kindness and professionalism!!! And what's more, the atmosphere of this place is fantastic!!!!

02/07/2026: I come regularly for the beef tartare because I trust the quality of the product. I had the pleasure of discovering the chocolate mousse with chocolate and salted butter cookie crumbles—pure bliss. The staff is friendly. The only downside is to avoid tables near the terrace door in winter because every time the door opens, you're enveloped in an icy chill. I recommend it.

20/06/2026: Honestly, this is our second visit. I would have given a 5-star review for the first time. The servers, Ismael and Cédric, were perfect. What a pleasure to have such pleasant, sincere, and honest people offering advice. Their smiles were simply delightful. It was truly a great experience, and we'll be back as soon as we can! The wine is good, the dishes vary, and they're always delicious. I highly recommend it. Thank you.

24/05/2026: I think this is the most touristy street and restaurant during my visit to Bordeaux, but the ambience was nice, the food good and the server very nice and helpful. The dinner was quite fast compared to the other experiences we have had, hence the lower score.

23/05/2026: I booked for 9:00. We sat down at 9:15. They lost our order and we finished at 11:15. There's a palpable lack of control among the waiters and in the kitchen. Not even an apology. It was incredibly hot, with no air conditioning. The dishes were bland and poorly cooked, with only the volute being decent. The Thai was overcooked; I wouldn't even give it to my dog. The Onglet was perfect for injuring someone. The chef's coffee dessert was only good for the coffee itself. If you want to ruin your day, this is the place for you.

07/07/2026: On our stay in the Bordeaux area my son wanted to do a bit of bouldering (his fav sport), and we came to Block out. Even though it was very hot outright, and their airco couldn't really keep up, it was a good experience. Nice dynamic settings and a good experience.

26/04/2026: I was incredibly disappointed. Whenever I'm in Bordeaux, I go to Noailles twice. This time I made a reservation for lunch. But the restaurant was closed. There was an apology sign on the door explaining that something serious had happened. That was all. I had a lot of trouble finding a decent restaurant nearby—which is practically nonexistent in that part of Bordeaux—and ended up with an unpleasant lunch in a tourist trap. It's a real shame. I hope Noailles reopens.

22/04/2026: The restaurant was closed, and looked to have been for many months. Why are reservations being offered? Met another family similarly duped.

06/07/2026: Excellent and attentive service. Exquisite and delicious dishes, even on weekday lunchtimes. And a remarkable, varied wine list that regularly updates to introduce us to new gems each month. An establishment that deserves even greater recognition in Bordeaux, and even beyond the Gironde region!

02/07/2026: We sat down, and the waiter came after 30 seconds to take our order. When we said we needed a moment, he left without a word, clearly in a bad mood. Two minutes later, the same thing happened. I have rarely experienced such unfriendly and customer-discouraging service.

18/05/2026: Love the vibe here! Fun decor, indie tunes, right up my street. We came because it's been hard to find a plain omelette in Bordeaux. Food was great. The woman at the next table had pizza, which looked excellent. Deserves to be busy, even on a wet Monday lunchtime.

26/06/2026: 👍 Recommended to me by a local, Wine More Time is a great place with a nice, extensive wine list & a decent selection by the glass. 🍷 🥖 The charcuterie & bread board was lovely, it went very well with my wines. 🙂 🇫🇷 I was very pleased with a red fresh & elegant Pinot Noir wine from Sancerre in the Loire Valley. 😍 💡 Maybe not exactly what you might expect to drink in Bordeaux, but I greatly enjoyed this light red on a warm evening. 😁 🌆 Wine More Time is located on the busy & picturesque side street Rue Saint-James in the centre of Bordeaux with a beautiful view no matter which direction you face. 🏛️ 🔔 The reason why this little street is so busy is called La Grosse Cloche de Bordeaux, a historic city gate & bell tower from the 15th century. 📸
