13/09/2024: Une table magnifique où tout était goûteux avec un excellent service! Nos places au bar nous ont permis de voir le synchronisme de la brigade en plus d’échanger avec eux à quelques reprises. Nous avons été chanceux d’obtenir les deux dernières places. Il faut absolument réserver. C’est un resto qui accueille des habitués, toujours un bon signe!

25/07/2024: Great discovery of this little vegetarian restaurant. The cuisine is made with fresh and organic products and everything is cooked on site. The dishes, from starters to desserts, are truly delicious. The concept is great: you take a plate, you serve yourself the quantity you want to eat (no waste), the price (very reasonable) is by weight. You can taste a bit of all the dishes if you want, no need to choose! Little extra: a majority of gluten-free and lactose-free dishes, which is not so easy to find in most restaurants. The welcome is also perfect. So won over that we came two days in a row and we will come back if we stay in Bordeaux again.

Rather bland veggie pancake, cookie not great...but it helps.
01/09/2024: We had a nice lunch after visiting the cathedral. The food wasn't fancy, but good. The price was OK. Friendly service and a nice place outside made us enjoy our stay a lot. We can definitely recommend it.

18/09/2024: Wow. What an amazing place and experience. We did the lunch with wine pairing, winery tour, and tasting. 10/10. We had Sophie for our tour and tasting. She was the best, very knowledgeable of Saint Emilion, answered all our questions. Thank you so much!!!!
09/08/2024: Nice experience of this relatively new winery (2005). We got a tour from Sophie, a very nice French/English woman who spoke both languages fluently. We got a tour and wine tasting for 13 euros per person because 6 people participated. Normally it costs 18eu per person if there are 2 of you. The tour was fun and educational, and the 3 wines we tasted afterwards were very tasty.

La chambre propre mais moquette pleine de tâches pense que campanile c'est la ruine c'est fini à fuir
23/08/2024: Aging hotel but very clean. Very very kind and caring staff. Hearty and excellent breakfast 👌. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and it was delicious (fresh salmon tartare and all-you-can-eat buffet) I highly recommend.

22/07/2024: Un endroit de rêve pour une soirée avec mon papa, le cadre est très convivial. Frédéric le patron est un homme très généreux.
Plus sérieusement toujours le sourire la nourriture est très bonne, pas gastronomique mais l'ambiance du restaurant fait tout. Chaque repas est du meme niveau : excellent et à refaire
Cest le genre d'endroit ou on aime y revenir pour profiter d'un bon repas en bonne compagnie, je recommande fortement.

12/09/2024: Arrivé un samedi soir après un match de rugby, je dois vraiment féliciter les deux serveurs de ce resto qui ont fait preuve de beaucoup de courage face au cuisinier complètement ivre qui les a insulté devant toute la salle, il aurait mieux fait de s occuper de ses cuissons de viande.
Ils sont restés souriant et très pro devant un fou furieux limite violent 😱

This lunchtime, the dish of the day consisted of a fried entrecôte. The entrecôte was a steak of very good quality and very tender. The fries, a disaster, the shape was there! But they had softened during cooking. Flabby, full of oil, these pieces of potato were fries in name only. The profession of cook cannot be invented. The fries must be cooked in two successive baths of oil, the first at 160 degrees and the second at 190 degrees, and there you will have real crispy fries.

05/08/2024: Een bezoek aan Le Rooftop du Grand Hôtel in Bordeaux was een leuke ervaring. We genoten van een heerlijke rosé op het fraaie terras in de zon, met uitzicht over de stad. De drankjes en gerechtjes zijn inderdaad aan de prijzige kant, zoals andere reviews vermelden, maar ze zijn zonder twijfel de moeite waard. De combinatie van lekker eten, de heerlijke wijn en het uitzicht maakt deze rooftop bar een plek waar we zeker nog eens naar terug willen keren. Een goede plek om even te ontspannen en te genieten van Bordeaux.
02/08/2024: Roof top froid et peu décoré, un cocktail de glaçons à 19 euros pour se réchauffer çà fait mal !
