27/06/2026: We chose Eric Thore's entire team as our caterer for our wedding last weekend and we wholeheartedly recommend them! Everything was perfect: from Mrs. Thore's guidance before the big day, including the tasting and her many helpful tips, to the entire team on the day itself: their smiles, their thoughtful touches (especially to the bride and groom, pregnant women, and vegetarians), and their genuine warmth!
Everything was delicious from start to finish; it was flawless!
22/06/2026: I was blown away by the warm atmosphere and the beauty of the place, the service was impeccable and the staff were super welcoming, everything was really clean and well maintained, the value for money was reasonable, no excessive waiting, it was truly an unforgettable experience.

10/07/2026: Disappointed. After reading many positive reviews, we confidently went to this restaurant as a family. The buffet was very small with limited choices and average quality products (more salad options than seafood). The dishes were simple and rather bland; we really didn't enjoy our meal. However, the setting was pleasant, and the service and welcome were very good! Perhaps the chef was absent on July 10th? A shame.

The value for money is practically unbeatable. We highly recommend this place; don't hesitate, go in droves and with your eyes closed.
The price range indicated below includes two set menus, starter, main course, dessert, two aperitifs, and two coffees.
07/05/2026: A pure moment of bliss! The setting is magical, right on the lake. The cuisine is exquisite, with original flavors that pleasantly surprise the palate. The welcome was warm from beginning to end. Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful experience.

16/06/2026: Passing through the area, we spent one night in this very well-located hotel. The staff was welcoming, the rooms clean, quiet, and comfortable, the breakfast varied, and the common areas were funly decorated. However, we didn't meet Cachou, the owner, who was probably out and about. Perhaps another time...

26/06/2026: In the middle of a heatwave, after two hours at the beach, we enjoyed a delicious and generous Parisian salad, very pleasant service, and a very generous gourmet coffee. A wonderful first experience, one we'll definitely repeat, especially since the beach is so close and we went back again and again. I highly recommend it.
23/06/2026: We had a great lunch at this restaurant, which we stumbled upon on a sweltering day… Excellent burger (special mention to the fries) and delicious warm goat cheese salad.

16/06/2026: For day visitors or golfers staying in the Arcachon Bay area, make sure there is no maintenance work being carried out on the greens (aeration, sanding, for example) because you will not be informed and will not receive any compensation for the reduced playing conditions. Furthermore, choose a time slot that allows you to use the changing rooms after your round.
This is a shame for a golf course that prides itself on being of a high standard.
Update June 16, 2026: Following my message expressing my dissatisfaction to the golf course management, I have been offered compensation equivalent to one green fee on a future visit.

23/06/2026: Appalling service: we arrived at 4:30 pm and in over 40-degree heat were asked to eat our pastries outside because the dining room had been cleaned in preparation for closing at 7 pm.

08/07/2024: Que dire de cette magnifique découverte !!! Un régal tant le cadre est splendide et les assiettes aussi belle qu’appétissante !!! Adresse à y aller les yeux fermé. Le gérant en plus et très agréable ainsi que toute son équipe !!!!
04/07/2024: Idéalement bien placé face à la plage et quand il veut bien ce montrer un magnifique couché de soleil.
Notre repas était excellent, un accueil fort agréable et très attentionné.
