20/01/2026: A very beautiful historic site, with typical Corsican streets and alleyways, a nod to the establishment "Chez Tao", where Jacques Higelin used to spend time.
07/01/2026: The Citadel of Calvi is well worth a visit. Overlooking the town and port, it offers magnificent views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Strolling within the ramparts and through the narrow streets feels like stepping back in time. During peak season, it's best to visit in the late afternoon to enjoy the light and avoid the intense heat. Take your time to admire the scenery and respect the tranquility of this still-inhabited place. A must-see in Calvi and Corsica, both for its history and the beauty of its natural setting.

09/07/2025: I gave it four stars simply because of a mix-up that significantly lengthened the wait time. The friendly staff apologized, offering an additional glass of wine. Very good dishes, great flavors, and top-notch table setting. Very nice atmosphere. I highly recommend it. We'll be back.

10/09/2025: A real local restaurant with locals!! who come to share music, dancing and good humor. The dishes are very good, very friendly staff, a singer-cook who is a fan of Christophe and his Aline 😅 Finding yourself following the caterpillar in a small street in Calvi is a great atmosphere 😊😊

31/01/2026: Met the extended family here for lunch. We had salads, local beers and cocktails. It was a beautiful setting, the sun was shining and the food was great.

A welcoming place where you feel right at home, perfect for sharing a good meal after a busy day.

03/07/2025: I just spent 3 days in Magnolia Calvi.
The location is perfect, near to everything very central and convenient.
Unfortunately few event were really annoying;
To start, one morning while we were still in bed, the housekeeper tried to enter the room without knocking. We shouted “no”, but she came in anyway—and then proceeded to speak to us standing at the door, while we were still lying in bed. It felt like a complete lack of privacy and respect.
The next day, after the cleaning service came through, we returned to find our blanket thrown on the floor, and the towels hadn’t even been replaced. That was honestly quite shocking and unacceptable for any hotel.
The reception is almost All the time empty, we tried to call few times, but no one ever answered.
And also, if you have big luggage’s, no one will help you carry it, which in my opinion is the basic service any hotel should provide.
30/06/2025: We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The welcome was warm and the owners were very kind. Dogs are welcome.

30/10/2025: It was a lovely experience having lunch on the beach with the citadel in view. The service was warm and the food was good, with a special mention for the chestnut crème brûlée.
11/10/2025: The food was great, but the staff were either unable or unwilling to speak English.
Another waitress tried to salvage the situation, so that's why we give it two stars for service.
Otherwise, the food was good.
Unfortunately, the ambiance suffered due to the service.
