15/05/2026: A pleasant restaurant in the heart of the city, the menu is varied with local and Lyonnais specialties, as well as fresh fish from the lake. The dishes are very well presented and of high quality. The owner is very friendly, but our waiter was barely polite and not very efficient.

19/05/2026: The dishes are very well-crafted, both in terms of taste and presentation.
The amuse-bouches are delightful and perfectly awaken the palate.
We also greatly appreciated the quality of the cooking, the subtle originality of the dishes, and the cheese platter, which was well-chosen, perfectly proportioned, and featured excellent, flavorful cheeses.
The service, for its part, is minimalist, efficient, and discreet. Perhaps not exactly "warm" in the traditional sense, but nonetheless very pleasant, professional, and with a philosophy that maintains a sense of privacy for the guests, which is equally appreciated.
We always return with great pleasure, for the food, the atmosphere, and the service staff.

09/04/2026: Two years ago, we had a great experience having lunch here. That's why I returned with over 20 members of the Rapperswil-Jona senior citizens' club for lunch. The menu is concise and reasonably priced. A colorful salad was served promptly. The various main courses were excellent, though the portions were a bit too large for seniors. The service was attentive and friendly. Paying for each table was quick and easy.

19/05/2026: A very nice hotel. The service is impeccable. The restaurant staff is very helpful. Delicious breakfast with some gluten-free options.
And a very good fitness center. The spa is also very good.
The only downside is the soundproofing of the rooms. We could hear conversations in the hallway and the TV in the next room.

Excellent find, they were extremely good and delicate!!
(2 chocolate and 1 raspberry)
However, the service was very poor from the waitress who seemed to get annoyed quickly when we asked her to repeat herself…

04/09/2025: Living in Évian, we've gotten into the habit over the past few months of curiously and enthusiastically exploring the town's restaurants. So far, we've had no real disappointments... until today, unfortunately.
Upon our arrival, neither the drinks menu nor the set menu were offered to us spontaneously, so we had to ask. We weren't offered a carafe of water either, which can be surprising in a town like Évian. And no cocktails were offered on the menu, a lack we found regrettable.
Regarding the meal: I ordered a blue steak, which was served medium rare. The fries were clearly industrially produced, flavorless and crispy. The bread was slightly stale, which isn't a big deal, but it's still a bit sloppy.
The Norwegian salad, for its part, didn't seem very fresh; the salmon had an unappealing flavor, probably from a supermarket, and the vegetables were seriously lacking in vibrancy.
Faced with this accumulation of minor disappointments, we decided to interrupt the meal after the main courses. We didn't want to go any further.
Finally, an important note: the word "crêperie" is prominently displayed on the front, yet no savory crêpes are offered, only a few sweet crêpes for dessert. This leaves the impression of a mismatch between what is advertised and what is actually offered.
In short, a disappointing experience, both in terms of the welcome and the cuisine. We don't plan to return or recommend this establishment as it stands.

06/07/2024: Endroit parfait pour une soirée sympathique avec budget tout à fait abordable par rapport à la qualité de la cuisine 5 étoiles et le service impeccable. Une découverte à chaque repas d'alliances de saveurs et senteurs de saison, locales avec l'inspiration liées aux origines et voyages du Chef Paolo!
Les enfants et personnes non gastronomes peuvent profiter des pizzas qui sont faites bien évidemment maison et excellentes.
Petit plus pour les bikers aux belles bécanes : facilité de stationnement directement sur un large trottoir attenant au restaurant ce qui est très rare sur evian
04/07/2024: Ravi de revoir revivre cet établissement qui vaut le détour à Évian les Bains, l'une des meilleures adresses pour l'été 2024. Une carte bistronomique variée, où chacun peut trouver un plat qui lui convient. Du bonheur, le tout accompagné par une jolie sélection de vins. Petit bémol le jour de notre venue : rupture d'Ice tea. Sinon tout parfait , nous allons revenir pour la soirée du dimanche 7 juillet

17/08/2024: Accueil déplorable et méprisant... On dirait que les clients dérangent alors que c'est vide ! Et se font remballer par des serveurs et serveuses absolument arrogants et en plus c'est pas bon !
Je ne conseille absolument pas cet endroit qui pourtant est bien placé... Je ne reviendrais jamais pr le faire traiter de la sorte !

On a pris une salade Paysanne, des légumes surgelés, 1 maigre tranche de fromage au chèvre sur un plat avec de la laitue à foison et de la sauce à salade blanche industrielle. 17.50€
On serait dans une petite cantine sans prétention et pas trop chère, ça passerait encore, c’était mangeable, mais là les prix sont vraiment excessivement élevés.
On a aussi pris les filets de perches (pas ceux du Lac, ils en avaient plus), frites surgelées, salade avec la même sauce blanche.

Ok, on a les pieds dans l’eau, mais c’est pas les Bahamas, on a les bateaux des privés qui ch*ent leur essence dans l’eau à côté, pas la vue du siècle, et une vue ne justifiera jamais un prix en tel décalage avec cette qualité médiocre de nourriture.
Sérieusement c’est Evian, on paye les mêmes prix à Montreux pour des plats bien meilleurs et des cadres plus luxueux.
Le personnel était pas forcément désagréable, mais ça se sentait que c’était de la politesse désintéressée et forcée juste pour le pourboire, j’attends pas à ce qu’on me lèche le tdb mais bon.

12/03/2026: A two-day stay at the end of December at this establishment. There was a problem between Booking.com and the hotel regarding the reservation of two meals on two different days, and the hotel still owes us €50 (for two meals not taken, as the restaurant was closed that evening). The hotel has been ignoring us ever since, despite calls, emails, and contact with Booking.com. Oh, and to top it all off, a French door in the room didn't close properly; we reported it, but nothing was done. Apparently, in winter, that's not a problem...
02/02/2026: We came for a weekend; the reservation was in my husband's name. I left my bedpan in the room when I left on Sunday. I called reception on Monday and never heard back. First, it was the chambermaid, then they never found it. Not very honest, and they certainly didn't keep me informed.

19/08/2024: Il s’agit de l’un des restaurants de l'hôtel Royal.
Nous avons été très bien accueillis, le service était rapide, le personnel très poli et serviable, la carte est bien fournie, les plats très bons et bien présentés. La décoration est originale. Nous avons passés un très bon moment en famille et reviendrons dès que possible ! Un grand merci à toute l’équipe.
26/07/2024: Magnifique cadre, personnel charmant mais la cuisine n’était pas au niveau. En effet, nous avions pris les tomates avec mozzarella en entrée et ceviche de daurade. Cependant les tomates n’avaient pas de goût, le ceviche et le suprême de poulet étaient basiques, sans plus, rien de transcendant. La qualité et le goût des produits pourraient être meilleurs, certes le cadre est magique mais cela est dommage que la cuisine ne soit pas à la hauteur. D’autres restaurants du resort sont meilleurs.
