The problem is that we went back for the Farm Jackson burger, but it has changed. Unrecognizable. For the worse. The bun was dry and stodgy, and felt overly herbaceous. The overall eating experience was negative. Not the beautiful monster I remembered.
01/03/2026: I have nothing but positive things to say about Mamo's. We've spent 12 days on the slopes now and, besides coffee and crepes, we've had lunch at Mamo's four times. It's become our regular hangout! What stands out most is how friendly, open, and welcoming the staff is. And then, of course, there are the Jackson burgers. Delicious! Swiss side is not only more expensive, but also far from welcoming. Keep it up mamp's staff and Thank you. Warm Regards, Lex

11/02/2026: Nice terras, great people in the service and the croute they have is a 9,5/10. Every wintersport we try multiple croutes a week and this is the best one that touched my tongue. Don’t be fooled by the looks, it’s the inside that counts.

04/04/2026: The chicken was so juicy. The portions were large and the fries were crispy. Therefore we decided to come back to do cheese fondue, which was creamy and smooth. As we don’t eat pork we got vegetables and potatoes. We enjoyed both times having lunch here.
The service is very friendly and easy going. The guy serving us has such a positive energy. The lady serving us is a bit stressed and running around which makes she is not fully listening, but she made us feel comfortable welcome and checking in with us regularly.
The restaurant itself is really authentic and and nicely decorated. The terrace is in the full sun. It is a pleasure to visit this restaurant.

You have to fight to get the menu, place an order (and only receive part of it), and get up to pay, otherwise nothing happens, and there's absolutely no apology or gesture of goodwill. Our neighbors didn't have our patience and left. There are many other restaurants in Les Lindarets (Chaudron, La Terrasse) and elsewhere in the area that are much better!

I strongly advise against going there.
I struggle to understand the 4.3 rating on Google.
Poor value for money.
The atmosphere is okay, but you can tell the restaurant is under-worked.
The servers are constantly complaining.
It's a shame to have such a beautiful place and such an attitude.

04/05/2026: Had the vege burger and it was fantastic. Obviously great bring on the lake as well.
01/05/2026: The terrace has a beautiful view of the lake, but I've never seen such terrible service. They practically threw the coffees at us, and on top of that, she didn't even apologize. If I hadn't asked for a napkin, we wouldn't have received one. Shocked.

02/08/2024: La Marmotte d’Or is a very nice pub in Montriond because the staff are very nice they are also welcoming the service is very good and the food is amazing and there is a very nice view. If you like drinking in pubs in montriond I would highly recommend this pub.
