A faultless one. We invaded this restaurant every lunchtime!

17/10/2025: A nice, rustic cabin in a beautiful location. The rooms are a bit dated. They could use some improvements here and there.
The outdoor dining area, right by the street, is noisy.
The food is good.
The staff is friendly.
Breakfast is adequate.
24/09/2025: For us it is always a pleasure to stop at the Napoleon refuge, I can no longer count the number of times we had a drink there while soaking up the scenery with the small lake and the Col de Vars.🏔️⛰️ In summer in 🏍️ or in winter snowshoeing at the Vars resort nearby.

06/01/2026: The waiters weren't particularly friendly, and the steak tartare was half diced tomatoes and half meat.
The way the owner paid and seemed so attentive to her customers didn't exactly inspire me to return.

I had written that my dog had slept in the car because pets aren't allowed in the establishment. After a phone call from the owner, I learned that I could have negotiated for him to come into the room. So, mea culpa!

24/09/2024: A heavenly place to stop for a break, but be careful, it's better to be prepared, because the service is of the "rough" type, under the background of grumbling between the grandpa who does the service and his wife who cooks and who puts impossible pressure on him, it's laughable and many of us were bursting with laughter on the terrace to see them both grumbling... Still, the porcini mushroom omelettes were excellent and the blueberry tart idem!

21/08/2024: Very nice restaurant, with typical mountain decor. Fantastic food!! We had the "chef's" fois gras to share (accompanied by spiced bread and onion jam, a dream!), followed by the duck breast (delicious!), tartare (better than many others) and the vegetable burger (much appreciated from our daughter), all with chips and salad. Delicious desserts (the apricot pastry freshly made by them, melted in your mouth).
Waiting times a little long, but absolutely understandable with a full restaurant!
Excellent value for money.
Highly recommended!!!!

15/12/2024: Degeu, pattes carbo horribles sans goût je n’ai jamais manger un truc aussi immonde en plus c’est ultra cher alors que c’est ignoble. Salade horrible aussi je reviendrais jamais.
15/12/2024: C’est dommage de prendre les touristes pour des imbéciles. Super cher et pas bon. Nous ne reviendrons pas. Pourtant en tant que propriétaires sur la station nous sortons régulièrement déjeuner sur les pistes.

28/08/2024: Un très beau resto ! Digne d’un chalet d’altitude! Déco magnifique, dans le jus et moderne ! Un des seuls de la station encore ouvert fin août….
Raclette très bonne et copieuse, mais quand meme assez cher. Cependant les pizzas n’étaient pas top, la sauce tomate pas assez cuite..

Cher , pas bon et rien à manger, j’ai été très malade après ce « repas ».
Je suis super déçue car j’aimais vraiment cet endroit et avant tout était bon et pas cher pour la qualité…
Je ne sais pas si ça a changé de propriétaire ou quoi…
Prenez vos sandwichs, pour éviter l’intox!
