18/07/2026: We came as a family of six on short notice. The welcome was truly lovely. Excellent value for money. Fresh, homemade products. It's definitely worth the trip.

22/03/2026: My family and I ate there and received a very warm welcome, a great atmosphere, and the food was delicious (and the dessert was incredible).

27/07/2026: Very average restaurant. Let's start with the hygiene... Ice cubes are handled with bare hands, the cutlery isn't clean, I had a dirty fondue fork and pointed it out to the waiter who gave me another one and put the dirty one back in the fork tray without washing it... Same with dessert, sticky little spoon. When you go to pay, take a look at the kitchen, it's not great either... We ordered two Savoyard fondues and two tartiflettes; they weren't amazing but edible. The final blow came with dessert: tiramisu with burnt candied apples, and the cherry on top, or rather the cherry on the cake, was Crozet pasta in the vanilla ice cream of the "Chocolate Delight"... See for yourself in the photo. If we're talking about the atmosphere, let me tell you, this is a restaurant where I think the father cooks and the son waits—what a strange relationship! 😅 The waiter is constantly being reprimanded, and not in a very friendly way either, in front of the customers. Go somewhere else; you'll definitely get more for your money!

28/05/2026: With the good reviews and the fact that it was off-season, we went to this restaurant with friends. It was actually one of the only restaurants open on a Sunday evening… Well, to be honest, let's just say we'll have a memorable experience at this restaurant 🤣 Between the fondue set that literally caught fire and the dishes that had absolutely no taste… the worst part was the owner's attitude towards his son who was serving; the poor guy was doing his best… I had the misfortune of ordering the carbonara… part of the pasta was dry, as if it had been cooked at lunchtime and left until the evening to be served. Then there was cream and tiny pieces of bacon. Nothing else. No seasoning, no Parmesan, not even an egg yolk. No flavor at all… I was so hungry that I ate it anyway… my friends didn't enjoy their meals either. The burger, the gratins… what a shame! Even the house cocktail was a disaster… a blackcurrant kir, without blackcurrants… so basically just a kir. We didn't have dessert after all that. We put our faith in the gods not to get sick. Don't worry, we're fine. The gods were merciful 🤣 Perhaps we didn't come at the right time, judging by the other comments.

22/03/2026: The food is sophisticated and delicious. However, the dishes are very expensive for the portion size… and the side dishes aren't even included.

26/01/2026: An arrogant boss or manager who likes to badmouth his customers at the checkout; it's just awkward when you're standing right there. Personally, I won't be eating there again; there are far better restaurants in Vars where you get friendly service.

26/01/2026: We hadn't even tasted the food yet and we already wanted to leave. We were a table of 15 who were going to order a lot, but that didn't stop the servers from being unpleasant. It wasn't possible to make even the smallest change to the burgers despite our allergies. The waitress's responses were curt. We didn't feel welcome at all. 05/04/2026: Very disappointed. My dish arrived, but my companion's was no longer available. She had to wait about 40 minutes while I left my plate aside so we could eat together. The duck breast, which I ordered rare, was well-done. We reported these issues to the staff, and they told us it was due to the end of the season. This explanation is hardly acceptable and in no way justifies this level of service. An experience far below the expected standard for this type of establishment.

05/04/2026: Catastrophic. It's important to highlight the good experiences, but also to share the bad ones, especially for a restaurant that presents itself as a 3-star establishment. During our visit, the service proved particularly disappointing. After ordering two courses, my companion's was served, while I was informed at the last minute that my dish was no longer available. I then had to wait almost 40 more minutes before being served. Regarding the dishes: the duck breast, ordered rare, arrived well-done. The cocktail, on the other hand, was simply undrinkable. While the other dishes weren't bad in themselves, the overall experience fell far short of the expected standard for a 3-star restaurant. We also spoke with other customers who shared the same disappointment regarding the overall quality of the experience. Fortunately, the resort is full of other quality restaurants, often more modest in appearance, but far superior in terms of service and cuisine.
