Le Garde Manger
Saint-Cloud
12/07/2026: We had a quick lunch on a sweltering day and appreciated the air conditioning. I didn't quite experience the magic of the place, but I can't be entirely sure.
09/07/2026: Nice, tasty, and pleasant. Our waiter communicated very well in English.

L'auberge de la passerelle
Saint-Cloud
10/02/2026: L'Auberge de la Passerelle is an excellent Portuguese restaurant in Saint-Cloud, offering generous and authentic cuisine that stays true to traditional flavors. The dishes are well-prepared, hearty, and delicious, with simple yet expertly executed recipes that delight every time. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, giving the impression of dining in a family-run restaurant where the welcome is genuine and attentive. The service is efficient and friendly, and the prices remain very reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes, making it a popular and regular spot in the neighborhood.

Au Pas de Saint Cloud

25/06/2026: A very pleasant bakery and waitress. It's rare to find a bakery that opens so early and is so brave considering the temperatures inside. Good luck!

Quai Ouest
Saint-Cloud
06/09/2026: I understand that this restaurant is about to close (in 3 weeks according to the manager). I was extremely disappointed with the service, waiting over an hour and a half for lunch. The menu selection is very limited. How can they charge €45 for a set menu when the starters and main courses are of such poor quality?
There's no longer any children's entertainment on weekends, so it's safe to say we miss the old Quai Ouest.
06/09/2026: Great moment!
The menue is simple but delicious, defiantly worth stopping by!
Atmosphere is great and service very pro.

Le Provencal
Saint-Cloud
15/06/2026: Two cold roast beef with mayonnaise, one chocolate mousse, and a quarter bottle of rosé for €53. Far too expensive. Perhaps there was a mistake (deliberate?) on the bill, requiring cash payment. No wonder there were only four of us...
20/05/2026: I love it. Friendly, homemade, tasty. Just like home.

Le Quorum
Saint-Cloud
13/04/2026: Very nice and quiet hotel outside the centre of Paris. Clean rooms. Nice breakfast...
24/03/2026: We spent a night at the Quorum for a sporting event and really appreciated the hotel's peace and quiet and cleanliness. Thomas gave us a very warm welcome and helpful advice. A superb welcome! The breakfast was basic but adequate! We will definitely be back next year for the same event.

Creperie les Tonnelles
Saint-Cloud
23/08/2026: Back to my roots at the crêperie of my teenage years, our old hangout, as we reminisced last night.
The decor has changed, of course; it's very modern now.
The staff is lovely and always smiling.
There were nine of us, and we were all served at the same time.
The savory buckwheat crêpes are delicious and generously filled.
The sweet crêpes are excellent.
All in all, it made for a wonderful evening where, for once, I forgot to take pictures of my food.
12/08/2026: Excellent service, superb crepes

Bistot Le Saint Cloud
Saint-Cloud
29/05/2026: A place discovered by chance, a place that exudes kindness, a place we highly recommend. A simple, fresh, and delicious meal, a very responsive team, a very attentive owner! We will definitely be back.
08/03/2026: I stopped at this establishment for a simple coffee, with the rather extravagant idea—I admit—of having a croissant with it.
So I ordered a coffee and asked for a croissant. The waiter's response: "Sorry sir, we're all out. The other customers have taken them all."
Very well. The national croissant shortage has clearly started here.
A few minutes later, a customer came in, ordered a coffee… and two croissants. Immediate miracle: the waiter calmly brought him his coffee and two croissants, right to his table.
A little surprised by this sudden bakery resurrection, I politely asked how this was possible.
The very serious reply: "Oh, sir, these croissants were reserved."
That's fascinating.
So, if I understand correctly, a customer who clearly doesn't know the establishment, who walks in spontaneously, is able to reserve invisible croissants that other customers can't get.
Interesting concept: here, croissants seem to be made on a case-by-case basis.
For future visitors, I therefore recommend the following strategy:
Come here for coffee,
but bring your own croissants,
and perhaps a pain au chocolat too, just to be safe.
This will avoid any logistical disappointment.
In short: a rather unique experience. A coffee shop… and an unexpected sociological spectacle.
An establishment I don't recommend, unless you enjoy culinary mysteries.

Le Beau Site
Saint-Cloud
31/08/2026: The welcome was extremely unpleasant; not a single hello or thank you, even though we were polite in return. They don't accept cards for purchases under €15, which I can understand, but even when we come and pay with coins, they refuse them. I wanted to buy cigarettes, so I paid with two-euro coins, one-euro coins, 50-euro coins, 20-euro coins, and to complete the amount, the equivalent of 50 euros in small change. She refused it, claiming she didn't accept small change over 30 euros. I asked her why, and I told her it wasn't written anywhere that she didn't accept more than 30 euros in small change. She said, "I make the rules, it's absurd!" She also told me she hoped never to see me again. I will obviously go back to buy my cigarettes, but only if she refuses to sell them to me without a legal reason. I would be forced to report this to the relevant customs service!
Following your response:
I am writing to address your version of events, which contains several inaccuracies.
First of all, contrary to what you imply, the tobacco shop was absolutely not full of customers that day. It was Saturday, and there was practically no one in the establishment: one person behind me wanting to buy cigarettes, whom I gladly offered to let go ahead of me so as not to waste their time, and one person at the bar. It is therefore particularly exaggerated to claim that I wasted the time of several customers or disrupted the operation of the establishment.
Regarding the coins, I absolutely did not "throw" them on the counter. I placed them in front of you so that you could count them and verify that the amount corresponded to the requested sum. It is perfectly normal for the cashier to personally verify the amount given. I obviously wasn't going to do the math for you and then ask you to take my word for it.
As for politeness, I stand by everything I said. During my visits to your establishment, your welcome has always been cold and unpleasant. Despite my "hello," "goodbye," or "have a nice day," I repeatedly received no response. It is therefore quite paradoxical to accuse me of a lack of courtesy today.
I would also like to clarify an important point: you clearly told me directly, "I don't wish to see you here again." This is not an interpretation on my part. Moreover, you are now publicly confirming this intention by writing several times that you no longer wish to see me in your establishment. This unfortunately speaks volumes about how a simple business disagreement has been handled.
Your public response, in which you repeatedly call a customer "ridiculous," claim that other customers were "making fun" of him, and insistently ask him not to return, perfectly illustrates the type of reception I described in my initial comment.
I didn't request any special treatment. I simply wanted to complete my purchase and understand why certain items were being rejected.
Therefore, I leave it to the readers to form their own opinion, both on the facts and on the tone used in your response.
13/08/2026: I have lunch there several times a week.
If you're looking for a classic, tasty, and well-presented daily special at a reasonable price, this is the place for you.

Paul
Saint-Cloud
28/07/2026: Since moving to Saint-Cloud, I've bought something from this store several times, and each time I've left extremely disappointed, mainly because of the saleswomen who are genuinely unpleasant. They clearly give the impression of being bothered by your presence, even as they chat and laugh while leaning against the counter. One of them in particular has a very disagreeable way of speaking to customers. It's a real shame because I won't be going back for that reason alone.
21/07/2026: I regularly shop at Paul's as a Monoprix customer, and for a long time I've enjoyed coming alone or with friends for the quality of the products, but especially for the warm welcome, kindness, and helpfulness of the two women who run the shop. They are the ones who make Paul what it is today in Saint Cloud.
A huge thank you and congratulations to Alina and Imen for your cheerful spirit! ✨✨✨

La Faisanderie
Saint-Cloud
21/06/2026: The setting is superb, the service attentive (except for the wine temperature). The menu is a bit limited, especially the wine list; it's a shame, they could do better (the "Bordeaux Villages" appellation made me laugh)!
