22/08/2026: The tavern owner, Eric, welcomes us like friends. First-name terms are the norm, and we serve ourselves drinks. A very pleasant atmosphere. Well done! The crepes are original and delicious.

22/08/2026: More than just a dinner experience Two days ago, four of us Parisians, just passing through, arrived at this crêperie with its participatory concept. We were immediately charmed by the welcome from Éric, the owner. Seated among the tables, he explained how the place worked with humor and simplicity: you serve yourself drinks (local draft beer, artisanal cider, homemade lemonade). He presented the three savory crêpes of the day, made with delicious local ingredients, and mentioned that everyone is on a first-name basis here. Attentive, with a quick glance, he immediately drew us into the wonderful atmosphere he creates. At the end of our meal, he shared a link to the TV show "Naked and Unashamed – Destination: The Volcanoes of Auvergne," in which we see him and his family in Lozère. There, we learn about his story and his family ties. We also understand the deep wound he carries, and how, by bringing his family and his wife Sophie together, he continues to do so much good for everyone around him. We sense a rare awareness. Thank you, Eric, for this heartwarming moment. An ordinary moment that became a true encounter.

12/08/2026: Returning to the Auberge du Radal this August after a first visit a few years ago. Still as excellent as ever. The menu has been slightly revamped with a touch of modernity, but without detracting from the overall authenticity—and above all, the quality of the ingredients remains exceptional. A very warm welcome and a superb setting. I can't wait to go back.

07/09/2026: A very warm welcome, lunch on the terrace, impeccable and punctual service, very friendly and attentive staff, excellent and flavorful dishes made with local produce, beautifully presented – kudos to the chef! The wine by the glass was excellent and perfectly complemented the food. The desserts were just as good as the meal. We were just passing through and will definitely be back.

03/07/2026: The restaurant was clean with good service. The back courtyard was cozy. However, this didn't make up for the food, which wasn't very good. A very sweet sauce was smothered on the salads, making them very unbalanced and difficult to eat. In the end, the desserts were a disaster: one tasted like it had been frozen, and the second, which was supposed to be a molten chocolate cake, was actually an overcooked sponge cake. Very disappointed. Despite objectively pointing out that the molten chocolate cake had turned out to be a sponge cake, this didn't seem to be taken into account by the kitchen staff.

27/06/2026: The location of this restaurant is quite advantageous; no cars or passersby to get in the way, and the outdoor terrace is on the opposite side of the street, near the very pleasant pétanque court! The establishment lives up to all its promises; the dishes are delicious, especially the calf's head, a local specialty, and the staff is very welcoming. It's a shame the terrace is a bit crowded... the tables could be better arranged to allow for more space for both the staff and the customers. But that's the only minor drawback, because this is truly the restaurant to go to in Langogne; I recommend it without hesitation!

25/07/2026: If you want a good meal, go for it! We went to the restaurant for lunch. The waitress was very friendly and kindly agreed to swap the aligot (a cheesy potato dish) that was offered as a side for homemade fries. We're a bit picky about quality, but honestly, these were the best fries we've had in years! They were real potatoes, not frozen! The mushroom sauce that came with the meat was a real treat, and I don't usually like mushrooms! The floating island dessert was also excellent! It was quite busy, but we didn't feel cramped, and it wasn't too noisy.

23/06/2026: Impeccable and very friendly welcome! The rooms are spotless, the breakfast is lovely, and the surroundings are charming! I was there for a business trip and I can't wait to come back for a holiday! I give it five stars!

10/07/2026: I highly recommend Auberge La Patache! A wonderful stay in an authentic setting surrounded by unspoiled nature. A warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the host couple and their exceptional dog, Rubis. They paid meticulous attention to detail, even in the food... Delicious and generous portions made with quality local products, at a very reasonable price! Looking forward to my next stay as soon as possible...

08/07/2026: We arrived at the restaurant very late, around 9 pm, and despite the late hour, we received a very warm welcome. The owners even turned on their stoves to prepare an excellent meal for us. We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious starter of local charcuterie and a vegetable terrine, followed by flavorful traditional dishes, including a delicious guinea fowl and a duck leg, all accompanied by a gratin made especially for us. To finish, an absolutely exquisite rum baba, served with coffee ice cream and whipped cream. A huge thank you for your warm welcome, your generosity, and the quality of your cuisine. A truly wonderful place that we wholeheartedly recommend and that deserves to be better known! Such lovely people! Thank you again for being who you are!

29/08/2026: We have nothing but positive things to say about this establishment. My partner and I spent two nights there on the half-board basis, and everything was simply excellent. The value for money is unbeatable. The room was comfortable, the welcome incredibly friendly, and best of all: the food. In addition to being delicious, the portions were very generous. After checking out, we simply had to come back for lunch 🤣 Mr. Alex is truly passionate about his work. The entire team is very welcoming. The setting is magnificent with a breathtaking view. Our cat was also very well looked after. We will definitely be back. Unlike other establishments, we felt right at home. If you're looking for a pleasant stay in the Tarn region and want to enjoy a truly authentic Aveyron meal, we wholeheartedly recommend "CHEZ ALEX".

From the moment we booked by phone until our departure from the guesthouse, my partner and I were greeted with great respect, kindness, and warmth. It's a very quiet, clean, and pleasant place for a stay in the Tarn region. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, and a big thank you for the generous portions of local cuisine. Everything was delicious. Our cat didn't want to leave! :) We can't wait to return. It's clear that Mr. Alex is very passionate about what he does and has assembled a team that shares his passion. That's very rare these days. The name of the establishment was well chosen, because at Alex's, we felt right at home, not in a typical hotel. A very big thank you to Mr. Alex and the entire team for this wonderful time spent at your place. We will definitely be back!

25/05/2026: Review of the restaurant, as I only dined there. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, with a magnificent glass roof. The dishes are beautiful and delicious. They showcase French culinary expertise with local flavors. The portions are just right for enjoying a full meal. I highly recommend this lovely establishment.

18/08/2026: A family-run inn with a very warm welcome from start to finish. They were very accommodating; when we didn't like something in our dish, the waitress immediately offered to replace it with something else, which was delicious. We opted for the set menu, which included a very generous starter of local charcuterie. The daily special was delicious and plentiful, followed by a selection of local cheeses, and the dessert was also very good. In short, we received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a wonderful meal at this inn located near Lake Barrandon, which is well worth a visit. A tip for the inn: book in advance, as it's always full (and we know why!).

24/07/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant and were disappointed. The salads lacked freshness and didn't match the menu description. It said "cherry tomatoes," but instead, we were served tiny pieces of whole tomato. The green salad lacked freshness, and the grated carrots consisted of just a single sliver of carrot. We were served a bread basket, some pieces of which had already been used by other customers and were therefore being refilled for new tables. We were bothered by cooking smells wafting onto the terrace. In short, we won't be going back.

19/07/2026: The food and value for money are decent, BUT: - When clearing the table, a waitress emptied the used and half-full glasses into the water pitcher! - In the bread basket, a piece had clearly been half-eaten by previous customers... it reeks of recycling! In short, serious hygiene concerns.
