27/01/2025: It's always a pleasure to come back to this restaurant! The welcome is warm, the service very attentive, and everything is done to make you feel privileged. The cuisine, for its part, is a pure delight: subtle flavors, perfectly presented plates, and real attention to detail.
We were surprised by the two negative reviews which seemed to concern a single table. Frankly, this in no way reflects our experience, which is impeccable every time. An essential address where we will return again, with great pleasure!
27/01/2025: Second chance, second disappointment.
A starter in 1h30 on a weekday lunchtime outside the summer period (the room was clearly not full), for an unassembled dish, of the greatest simplicity (round of veal with white rice and a little sauce), which arrives lukewarm. Professional obligation meant that dessert was not possible on time, but the one who had taken main course/dessert rather than starter/main course, sat on her dessert since it was not possible to do a doggy bag, despite the legislative obligation dating from 2021 (article 62 of the Egalim law of October 30, 2018). No commercial gesture and above all NO EXCUSE from the staff.
You will have understood,
I absolutely do not recommend, go opposite.

01/09/2024: I highly recommend this restaurant, the service was impeccable throughout the meal, and the dishes are very good.
14/08/2024: We went to eat with a friend and ordered the specials. The portions were a good size and the chicken tikka dressing is very tasty without being spicy. The Aperol Sprits was smooth, big and rich. The service was very fast and they prepared the table for us even though we did not have a reservation.

le guingois sert du congelé alors que le val de moine fait de la cuisine maison
Le val de moine va changer dans les trois mois et s'agrandir et tout va changer en extra plus .
Ce sera le meilleur restaurant ouvriers de cholet pour un prix correct.
Meme s'il passe son menu a 16 euros , il le méritera largement devant le guingois .
Il y aura pas photo.

29/11/2024: I had a fish and chips (not too greasy/too much frying and the fish wasn't dry) and a brioche lost and both were very good. There were 8 of us and we had an appointment for an escape game right after, they adapted to serve us quickly and we arrived on time. The restaurant is right next to the karting but the space is well isolated. I recommend!

I recommend it, there is a choice. Good value for money.

Entered the restaurant at 9 p.m. left at 9:45 p.m.!
The server only addresses Sir, I'm non-existent... in 2024 we love it!
we are a couple, the restaurant is almost empty, but we are placed in the middle of a family with a child who never stops crying.
The dish was brought to us 5 minutes after the aperitif, we didn't even have time to start it... aperitif served with popcorn topped with caramel!
in terms of cooking nothing is right... I ask for rare it comes well cooked.
The waitress screaming across the room where the toilets are...
We don't even prefer to have dessert and run away!

15/09/2024: Puy du Fou partner hotel not listed in the Puy du Fou satisfaction survey for feedback. Friendly and responsive staff. Room could do with a good refresh as it is dated. The exteriors should be better maintained, automatic watering with the pipes which overflow into the alley which leads to the rooms: you can get your feet caught in them, they should be reorganized. Very decent continental breakfast, a little expensive compared to accommodation in France, €3 more for fewer products. We were just there to sleep so ok.
04/09/2024: Very satisfied with this hotel, don't listen to the slanderers who are choosy, for 3 times as much they will have a Louis XIV style room full of gilding at Puy du Fou. Friendly welcome, quiet room, very varied breakfast, thank you.

11/07/2024: Rien a dire sur l'accueil. En revanche déçu du rapport qualité/prix. J'ai trouvé le prix du cabillaud vapeur excessif et pas terrible en saveurs. A 25€ le plat on s'attend à autre chose. Dommage
