07/09/2026: Perhaps we would have had a better experience with reservations? They seemed dismayed that we didn't have reservations and reluctantly sat us at a table right by the road. Service was extremely slow and the food was just okay. I also think they were annoyed that we shared a dish. We really don't like over eating and we don't like wasting food, and when you are traveling you can't really do leftovers so...🤷🏼‍♀️ Anyway, it just wasn't a great vibe.

23/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, we had a wonderful time. The food was absolutely delicious. Despite our last-minute reservation, the entire team gave us a very warm welcome, and the owner even went so far as to drive us back to the entrance of Mont Saint-Michel after the restaurant closed. Highly recommended!

20/08/2026: The dark crepe dough is very nice.

02/09/2026: A delightful discovery when you want to get away from Mont Saint-Michel and the tourists. Delicious, homemade, and generous portions (I recommend the floating island dessert). Charming and humorous waiters. All at a very reasonable price.

20/05/2026: Lovely meal with my Mum while on holiday. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Well worth the money and experience.

18/05/2026: Very nice and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, we felt very welcome and well taken care of. Great location to visit the abbey and island. Got good recommendations how to get there (bike rental!).

26/08/2026: I'm Italian and I was there in August 2026. The food was excellent, both meat and fish. The oysters are superior, truly excellent, and at prices you'd only dream of in Italy. The desserts were amazing. A slight criticism was that the service was a bit too long, which I believe was due to insufficient staff compared to the potential seating. Good value for money.

21/08/2026: August 18, 2026. I was very pleased that I could eat at 4 pm, since all the restaurants usually close at that time. This is very convenient! Since you walk around Michel Island for almost more than half a day, you can then leave and eat at this restaurant. The food is excellent! Everything is clean and tidy. There weren't many people, mostly foreigners: Americans, Russians, Ukrainians, and Mexicans. I ordered one appetizer, three main courses, two desserts, one apple juice, and two espresso drinks. I paid €110. The staff is calm and helpful. I recommend it.

21/08/2026: Good food and pleasant service. It might be wise to better select the background music to better suit the setting. Be aware of the €12.50 parking fee due to Mont Saint-Michel, which adds to an already relatively expensive meal bill.

29/08/2026: The two of us ordered lamb chops and a baked dish, and were very satisfied overall. The lamb chops were a generous portion, several chops in one plate. The surface was lightly charred and fragrant, with a natural herb flavor, while the meat inside remained tender and juicy, without any noticeable gamey taste. The accompanying sauce had a creamy and peppery aroma, which enhanced the lamb's flavor. The side dishes were also plentiful: small potatoes with a crispy skin and soft interior; stewed vegetables that had absorbed the meat juices, and the sweet and sour flavors of the tomatoes and vegetables perfectly balanced the richness of the lamb chops. The baked dish was also a pleasant surprise. Topped with breadcrumbs and herbs, it was baked to a golden brown and crispy perfection, with a delicate and creamy texture inside, rich in milky flavor but not overly greasy. The accompanying fresh lettuce, smoked meat slices, and tangy salad dressing made the dish more refreshing and added layers of flavor. The two dishes, one emphasizing the charred aroma of roasted meat and the other more robust and mellow, complemented each other perfectly. The presentation was exquisite, the portions were generous, and we finished almost everything – a very satisfying lunch. Not salty at all. 👍
