16/08/2026: Very nice atmosphere, friendly service (Lily), delicious food. Highly recommended. I had the avocado toast and my wife had the quiche. Both were very tasty and the cake looked delicious too.

02/06/2026: A small, legendary venue where you're close to the musicians. I heard Suzanne Belaubre sing while playing her own compositions on the (acoustic) piano – a real treat. There's also a simple bar/restaurant upstairs: 'La Mezzanine'.

09/08/2026: We're glad we stopped here. I was looking for a relaxing, casual place. It's a typical local spot, and it's popular. The owner and the gentleman with the dog are friendly.

31/07/2026: Chez Ammad: a neighborhood institution where the few remaining Montmartre locals still gather with renewed pleasure, while also attracting strollers discovering the Butte and looking for an authentic, affordable, and welcoming spot. Not forgetting the other Parisians who frequent the theaters (theaters like Abbesses, La Manufacture, and L'Atelier). You'll always be greeted by Foued's impeccable wit, humor, and charm, under the watchful eye of the great and endearing owner, Ammad, who has been running the bar for four decades now and preserving its history, which you'll discover when you visit. Bonus: a great musical atmosphere and often jam sessions and/or live concerts.

16/08/2026: I simply didn't like it. First, because the ice creams weren't good. They were nothing special. The mango one still tasted like mango, but the Kinder Bueno one tasted like nothing. Just cream and very mild chocolate… But what I really didn't like was the lack of empathy from the clerk who didn't even offer two small children a small spoonful of a flavor to see if they liked it… maybe he thought that if they had tried it, they wouldn't have asked for it… And the price was normal: €3.50 per tub (which they didn't even fill up…). Not recommended at all!

28/07/2026: I haven’t seen anyone write about this, but they offer a tasty coffee milkshake. The texture is like a Frosty from Wendy’s (if you’re American you may be familiar) in a cup of about the same Wendy’s size. It was the perfect thing to satisfy both the desire for coffee and ice cream at the same time. It’s rare to see something like that around here. It was heaven sent on a hot day.

01/07/2026: It's a bit pricey, but places like this are becoming increasingly rare. So, if you don't focus too much on the cost, you can really enjoy yourself. Between all the appetizers and main courses, there's a real sense of home cooking—it's refined, generous, and flavorful. Sometimes it's very simple for what it is, but there's no doubt there's a lot of work in the kitchen, with plenty of options. The set menu of appetizer, main course, and dessert makes for a proper dinner. Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome and for keeping this kind of place going!

06/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic bar where you immediately feel at ease! The welcome is always warm, the atmosphere is friendly, and the owner is truly kind. The drinks are served with care, and you always have a great time, whether you're having a coffee or sharing a drink with friends. It's the kind of place you'll happily return to. I highly recommend it!

28/06/2026: A real gem! A truly old-fashioned Parisian bar, unpretentious and welcoming, where you feel right at home the moment you walk in. A friendly atmosphere, authenticity, good cheer… and incredibly kind owners! Always smiling, always with a friendly word, you almost feel like a regular from your very first visit.
