03/09/2024: Salmon avocado was very good, staff were nice and it was a very cozy restaurant

30/08/2024: Recommend! Fairly small menu (which tends to be a good thing) so we went for caesar salad and le nazir burger - both excellent! Salad included generous portions of breaded chicken goujons and le nazir burger featured melted blue cheese and mustard which was exquisite (also considering I am not a strong-cheese person). Service was swift until ordering the bill, which took three too many prompts and therefore a longer than tolerable wait.

16/11/2024: Not entomologists? run away!! I find flies in my glass: I go to see the bartender. He calmly tells me that he doesn't understand the problem! He refuses to change it for me. After intense negotiations to change it for me, he takes my glass, stirs it and hands it back to me... I explain to him that this does not suit me: he finally agrees to change it for me... for a glass with new ones full of corpses of flies! I suggest renaming this bar the entomologist or putting a small sign at the entrance for future customers.

02/11/2024: Very good atmosphere, very generous bartender who takes orders literally. Don’t hesitate to order the full shot pack, I’ll come back.

30/08/2024: An experience to live at least once in your life! To repeat a previous comment: "the weirdest show I've ever seen"! You find yourself in a room filled to capacity with people from all walks of life, from all countries, a magnificent cosmopolitan gathering. It's so enriching, it serves the general atmosphere of this unique place. The decoration of the room is incredible and totally pays homage to the history of the Moulin Rouge, all these colors, references to fare shows... there are everywhere! I was quite unsettled at first to be seated with strangers. Having come alone, I had an American woman in front of me and next to me a group of Spaniards. We didn't know each other, and yet, what an atmosphere at the table...! It was great. During the meal, we attended a great little concert of famous covers by a duo of singers and a few musicians. But also to the moving marriage proposal of a gentleman to his lady, and we applauded at Juliette's birthday (we still don't know who it is). Then around 9:00 p.m. the Show started. Special mention +++ for the catering team who were very warm and adorable with me during the meal service! I have excellent memories of our little exchanges. The show is very special: it's magnificent, strange, funny, seductive... in short, incomparable to any other show you can see in your life. 3 cuts were applied during the show with speakers having their own performances. I really enjoyed these little moments which were all breathtaking! My only regret is the beer! I asked for a draft of blonde on my menu and was offered a... small bottle of Heineken?! This is the only beer that was offered. I hallucinated. Are we in France or not? I had half a bottle of white wine instead. Also, big injustice on the dress code: We all have to be dressed in a certain way, with a certain style of shoes, a certain item of clothing is prohibited, etc. otherwise we don't get in. And... before entering the room, we see Asian tourists passing by our queue dressed in everything that the dress code prohibits. And of course, they enter without problems. At that moment, the Moulin Rouge lost all its credibility in our eyes.

30/08/2024: Access denied because it was spontaneously decided at the door that knee-length trousers were not appropriate for men in summer. There was no information about this anywhere during booking. 130€ lost due to pretentious snobbery

10/09/2024: Good brasserie offering typical dishes prepared with care and quality products. Smiling and attentive service. Very nice bistro atmosphere.

01/12/2024: I don't mind there being inflation... But it really has a good back. The prices are unreasonable, unjustified. We're not in the 7th arrondissement anyway. 12 euros per punch! 3 cl. A gin and tonic displayed at 11 euros on the sign (which is already very expensive) and actually charged 13 euros at the bar. In a completely standard bar, in one of the neighborhoods that remains affordable. Long live uninhibited gentrification.

02/11/2024: An unforgettable moment! Great welcome despite the late hour, we arrived from Montpellier. Warm and then festive atmosphere at the end of the evening (great play list!!!🎉). Generous, refined and truly tasty dishes. Absolutely worth discovering! 🤩

30/10/2024: Piatti basici, la maggior parte fritta. Abbiamo preso 3 tapas: una a base pollo con salsa gravy (bruciata), una al pulled pork (veramente buona), una ai legumi ( senza sapore). Cucina a vista e molto odore di cibo all’interno. Siamo usciti che i giubbotti erano improponibili! Personale gentile, niente di particolare. 3 tapas, 3 birre per un totale di 45€

26/08/2024: Three out of the four of us had starters. The onion soup was a big hit. My daughter had ordered Caesar salad with bacon for her main course. When it was delivered to the table she said “mum something is moving on the bacon”. I looked and thought it was just sizzling bacon fat. On closer inspection by all four of us we realised it was maggots. It was disgusting. Lots of maggots on the bacon. The waiter came over and took the dish away. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to take a picture. The waiter, manager (I think), chef and my friend all gathered near the bar inspecting the plate. They initially said there was no maggots , then said they must have come from the lettuce! The maggots were on the bacon not the lettuce. How bad must the hygiene be in the kitchen if maggots are being served in cooked food? My friend said that we were leaving. We just got up and walked away leaving the other three untouched main courses on the table. We were all totally stunned by what had just happened. Not one member of staff came after us with an apology. It felt like they wanted to not create any fuss and bring attention to themselves and the disgusting state of their food. We are still nauseous now at the thought of it , and my daughter said she will never eat bacon again.
