I go in and the rude person says it's closed.
A real businessman.
24/01/2026: "A friendly spot in the old town," a must-visit! The owners and staff are incredibly welcoming. You can eat there, have a coffee, and enjoy a very good beer.
Even your dog will be happy; they give you a little bone-shaped biscuit every time I go, and believe me, that's worth its weight in gold. Ulysses says thank you!

21/02/2026: Mixed experience at this restaurant.
The service was extremely slow: we had to ask for our drinks, which arrived well after our food. The waitress was unfriendly and spent more time chatting with her colleagues than attending to customers, giving an impression of a lack of professionalism. We even had to ask for the dessert menu, which wasn't offered automatically.
On the other hand, the food was truly excellent: the dishes were flavorful and beautifully presented, which is a shame because with better service, the experience could have been outstanding.
15/02/2026: Disappointing, unacceptable wait time, ordered at 8pm and finally ate at 10:10pm. The food left an aftertaste.

I loved everything: the meat was perfectly seasoned, the portions were generous, the sandwich was well-filled, and the service was very friendly. They're ready in 5 minutes! Everything was truly delicious. I recommend it 100%!

14/02/2026: Kitchen Nightmares!! When we entered this restaurant, we asked for a table for two, if possible in a corner (as the dining room is extremely small and the tables are very close together). Our request was refused by the waitress, who replied in a nonchalant tone.
As a result, we had to constantly move aside to let her pass from one table to another. The tablecloths were a sorry sight. We can't judge the quality of the food since we were only there for 15 minutes; we decided to leave when we heard the table next to us, which had been there for 30 minutes and still hadn't received a drink. This prompted the gentleman to go and get a glass of tap water himself from the restroom. This restaurant should get a visit from Philippe Etchebest to turn things around. We then ended up at Papy Henry's (across the street) where we enjoyed a delicious burger with excellent service and a warm welcome.
11/01/2026: We ate the most awful Welsh rarebit, even though the welcome was friendly.

28/08/2024: Disappointed with this restaurant. The fish foil was not one (oven dish); fish and rice not very tasty. The pepper sauce (industrial powder mixed with water??) accompanying the steak had the consistency of water, tasteless. Not to mention the fairly long waiting time.... in short, no point in choosing this address
