02/09/2026: €5 for a half-full glass served by a waiter who seemed to be bothering us during his shift. I felt like I was imposing myself; it was unpleasant and rather paradoxical when you come looking for a relaxing moment.

18/08/2026: Nice location on Place de la Victoire, efficient service. However, the mojito was more like a mint-flavored water at €8.50 – very disappointing! I mentioned it to the waiter, but no compensation was offered! Go across the street instead!

30/09/2026: A very warm welcome in a lovely setting. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

28/09/2026: Good atmosphere. Lots of young people. Large terrace overlooking the square. Pedestrian-friendly area. I've never eaten there, so I can't comment on the food. As for the service, it all depends on the waiters or waitresses. With a wheat beer, I asked twice for a slice of lemon. The waitress kept saying she'd be back, but even when she walked past our table, it didn't seem to register. She wasn't very friendly, unlike some of her colleagues.

05/10/2026: Expensive for what we ate. Limited selection as we arrived after 2 pm. The cashier was very kind and helpful.

03/10/2026: While the food tastes good, not great but normal, medium at best, there is a lack of options to choose from. Everytime feels like it nearly always the same thing arranged differently and the glasses could be a little cleaner.

14/10/2026: Shameful service! The woman at the tobacconist's was extremely unpleasant and showed a complete lack of respect for customers. Her manner of speaking was unacceptable. You come in to shop peacefully and you're met with someone who feels entitled to be rude for no reason. She seriously needs to learn to manage her behavior and show a minimum of politeness and professionalism. Customers shouldn't have to put up with her bad mood!

11/09/2026: We often come here for a beer or coffee, or to eat a panini between trains. The servers are very friendly, and the service and quality of the sandwiches are excellent.

14/06/2026: Looking for a place to have lunch? Le Pélican is a restaurant I wasn't disappointed to visit. The set menu (starter and main course, main course and dessert, or all three) is a good compromise. It offers good value for money, and the service is very friendly.

17/07/2026: We were hoping to enjoy the shaded terrace for a meal with friends... the fact is, the terrace is a real asset! Except when... there was a smell of cat pee near our table... and the service was lacking. The white wine wasn't chilled... they apologized... but still! The meal was disappointing (soggy pizza crust, industrial-tasting sauce)... the lemon and shrimp pasta was okay... except that it arrived on chipped plates... not really up to par... so we won't be back... not even for one of the few terraces in Clermont!

26/09/2026: We ordered a coffee with a glass of water, a salted caramel crepe, and a freshly squeezed orange juice. Results: no orange, no glass of water, and a crepe 15 minutes later that had no taste or caramel. A sweaty waiter who kept running his hand through his hair. A huge disappointment.

24/07/2026: Two stars because the food is good, but everything else is a disgrace. I was charged for the next customer's dessert on my bill, and when I realized this after paying, they didn't even refund me; they just offered to give me what I'd already paid for. So it wasn't even free. I consider this a forced and coerced upsell.

10/07/2026: We were a group of about forty people and had reserved tables for the evening. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When ordering at the bar, the server was rather unpleasant. During happy hour, we ordered half-pints of beer, unaware that a pint was available for the same price. This information was only provided to us afterward by a waitress when I asked her exactly what the offer entailed. I pointed out that this information hadn't been shared with anyone in our group and asked, as a gesture of goodwill, for some kind of compensation. My request was refused. It's not so much the price that bothers me as the lack of customer service. With a group of about forty people eating in, a simple gesture or a solution would have been appreciated. It's a shame, because it leaves a very negative impression when it could easily have been turned into a positive experience.

27/06/2026: Frankly, we were disappointed with the food. We opted for the brunch menu, and it was dry and lacked sauce. The French toast was reheated. The hot drinks were good, and we had to ask twice for ice. It's a shame about the setting, as the location and ambiance are quite pleasant.

22/06/2026: Very disappointed with this brunch. The egg muffin was really dry and bland. Overall, the brunch was nothing special and not worth the trip. I don't think I'll be back.

05/08/2026: The service was rushed and unpleasant... But if that were all, it wouldn't be so bad... My friend was locked in the toilet for a long time despite calling for help. He was aware of the problem, but he mocked her, taking it lightly. The waiter/owner was very unpleasant when my friend politely asked him to put up a sign or warn other people. He was condescending, rude, and insulting... In short, surreal. A place to avoid, unfortunately.

22/07/2026: Fantastic restaurant! The atmosphere and service were excellent, and the food was delicious—I highly recommend the accras! The price is very reasonable for the quantity and quality of the dishes; we'll definitely be back!

14/09/2026: Nice local location for a simple and efficient cafe, which by the way, well, it's not an amazing cafe but very simple for spending a little time.

03/09/2026: The best restaurant in Clermont, by far! I recently ate there and the food was superb, with very friendly service. I highly recommend it.
