28/07/2026: Nothing exceptional for me; after several restaurants, the truffade isn't the best in the area. The service was average, but a definite plus for the profiterole, which I recommend. Served on the terrace, which was pleasant, but the table arrangement for five wasn't perfect. A shame.

17/05/2026: +: A hotel at the foot of the mountain passes, well located. A spa and swimming pool that are a welcome treat after a day in the cold Auvergne weather. A hearty breakfast, good croissants. Bike parking. Owners who are accommodating to large group bookings. -: Basic but clean rooms! A cold welcome and patronizing, almost inappropriate remarks. Sometimes you get the feeling you're intruding even when members of the group ask "normal" questions (like the cold shower water...). It's a shame, because the setting is lovely.

13/05/2026: Fantastic welcome! Excellent food, fresh and generous portions. The waiter was very attentive and gave excellent wine recommendations! Very reasonable price. The room was superb, and the swimming pool was a real bonus. Thank you for your hospitality, I'll be back!

21/05/2026: Hotel very well located in the heart of La Bourboule. A good quality breakfast is available on site. Several restaurants are nearby. The room has been renovated and is well-equipped. The hallways and surrounding area are a bit dated.

29/12/2025: Very clean place, cleaned every morning. Very sophisticated, but one small detail: when you remove the pass, everything that's plugged in shuts off. Apart from that, it's perfect.

28/07/2026: Excellent experience at this local restaurant. Hearty and delicious dishes, and a great waiter who didn't hesitate to liven things up with lots of jokes.

28/07/2026: Waited for 15 minutes and then waiter gave the menu, then again long wait and we just left as it took so long. Better service elsewhere for same price.

28/07/2026: Just for a midday aperitif, and luckily, my daughter's fruit juice expired in April. I didn't understand why she hadn't drunk it, but now that I've taken the bottle out of the fridge, I have the explanation...

28/07/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant on July 27th. We should have read the reviews before going… There were eight of us, including a one-year-old. We ordered five courses, as two young children weren't very hungry and we planned to share with them. The owner's first comment was: "Oh, you're only ordering five courses for eight people!" The tone was already set… I'll skip over several other details, as well as a few oversights on their part during the meal. When it came time to pay the bill, after these various oversights, the owner lost her temper and shouted to her husband, in front of the other customers: "Take the money, or I'll punch one of them!" What professionalism… Bravo! Fortunately, the waitress, visibly very embarrassed by the situation, assured us not to worry, as the owners were due to change in a month. Best of luck to you, Madam, until your new bosses arrive.
