20/05/2026: After a long day of hiking, it's wonderful to find a restaurant serving local specialties. The truffade was delicious and generous, comforting and bringing back fond childhood memories. My only slight complaint is the amount of charcuterie served alongside. The giant profiterole was the perfect ending to the meal. The service was impeccable. The set menu was very reasonably priced.

19/05/2026: A must-visit for sampling regional specialties. The welcome is incredibly warm and the food is delicious and very generous.

17/05/2026: +: A hotel at the foot of the mountain passes, well located. A spa and swimming pool that are a welcome treat after a day in the cold Auvergne weather. A hearty breakfast, good croissants. Bike parking. Owners who are accommodating to large group bookings. -: Basic but clean rooms! A cold welcome and patronizing, almost inappropriate remarks. Sometimes you get the feeling you're intruding even when members of the group ask "normal" questions (like the cold shower water...). It's a shame, because the setting is lovely.

13/05/2026: Fantastic welcome! Excellent food, fresh and generous portions. The waiter was very attentive and gave excellent wine recommendations! Very reasonable price. The room was superb, and the swimming pool was a real bonus. Thank you for your hospitality, I'll be back!

29/12/2025: Very clean place, cleaned every morning. Very sophisticated, but one small detail: when you remove the pass, everything that's plugged in shuts off. Apart from that, it's perfect.

17/05/2026: A great place with excellent value for money! Homemade regional cuisine, especially the cheese-based dishes made to order! And a waiter who takes great care of his customers 👍

16/05/2026: Great restaurant, pleasant atmosphere with chalet-style decor. The food is very good and you'll leave with a full stomach! The waiter was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. However, be prepared for the heat because with all the cooking equipment, you'll quickly be taking off your jacket. It's advisable to make a reservation as it's often full.

23/05/2026: Absolutely wonderful!!! We arrived for coffee at 11:00 AM. There were six of us, including one child. Several tables were empty and unset. We were unpleasantly surprised when the waitress told us that no tables were available. Two or three minutes later, a family of five arrived for drinks, and the waitress seated them at a table for six. We politely asked the waitress why we had been refused service, and this unpleasant woman must have mistaken us for tourists, even though we are residents of La Bourboule, because she berated us, telling us we were disrespectful, unfriendly, and bad people. This is definitely the last time she will ever see us, our friends, or our neighbors.

21/05/2026: I arrived at 8:30 pm. The kitchen was almost closing, and the waiters at the reception desk found me a table. The lady who recommended the menu was very kind; she advised me not to order an appetizer because it would be too much, which I really appreciated. I recommend arriving before 8:30 pm because almost all restaurants close at that time. Of course, we're not in Paris, we're in Nice.

15/03/2026: A very friendly restaurant with a warm welcome from the manager, who is also the chef. Original and classic dishes, both delicious and prepared with care. I highly recommend this place 😊

28/02/2026: Avoid at all costs! The staff are extremely unpleasant, never smile, and argue amongst themselves in front of customers. Basically, it's just eat and pay. The food is very poor value for money. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.
