16/07/2026: The bakery has been under new management for a few weeks now, but the bread is overcooked, the specialty breads are expensive and don't keep very well, and worst of all, there are no pastries, not even on Sundays! It's a shame.

03/09/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS, APPALLING, SHAMEFUL woman After my card was declined, I saw the woman make an angry face. She hesitated to repeat the process! Because, and I quote, "it wastes paper" ;)) Unbelievable! Your response is as petty as you are. Just look at how you reply to comments; it says a lot ;)

29/08/2026: The room was decent, and the welcome was friendly. It's a shame the toilets are always dirty every time I come… they used to be very clean, what a pity. Good food depends on clean toilets, you know!

06/09/2026: Reading the comments, I thought, "Whoa!" Indeed, nothing is up-to-date with the opening hours. I went there on Sunday; I'd read it opened at 4 PM, and being in Biarritz, it's quite a drive, and it was closed. Pffft. On the way back, we went to the Col d'Ibardin, and there it was open. The man told me I had to take it out two hours beforehand. I said, "Really? That long?" And he said, "It's a freezer room." Ah, okay. So it defrosted nicely, and it's fine. But why does it cost €25? Stewed pears and crème brûlée aren't exactly expensive products.

27/08/2026: A definite plus is that the bakery is only 600 meters from the campsite, which doesn't have one. It looks very nice, but I was disappointed once I tried it. The prices are high, undoubtedly taking advantage of tourism and foreigners who come to shop at the Lidl supermarket right across the street. Being a fan of Portuguese pastel de nata, I bought some, and I have to say it's a real "crime" to call these pastéis de nata. Aside from their appearance, nothing about the pastry's structure resembles them. You have to take your purchases at the counter and carry them to the tables outside, which are cleaned only when they feel like it. There was only one table occupied, and yet ours was covered in croissant crumbs and an ashtray filled with cigarette butts, sugar wrappers, and the coffee stirrers provided. I don't recommend it.
