31/07/2026: Mino and Thomas were great with their service of food and wine. The wine selections are amazing and the food is very tasty. The aged sliced pork and octopus dishes were my favorites last night. The atmosphere in the small tree park is very inviting. Great vibe.

28/07/2026: The wine list is excellent, but unfortunately, that's the only positive point. The cuisine aims for ambition but proves disappointing: the tapas are small, tasteless, and overpriced. The service was disorganized; we waited several minutes for cutlery before we could even start eating, and were then moved to another table. Overall, a disappointing experience that doesn't justify the prices.

16/07/2026: I had Korean fried chicken, which was really well seasoned, crispy but juicy inside!

10/07/2026: The service is friendly, the meals are hearty, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend the fried chicken and the ramen!

05/08/2026: Disappointment!!! This was our third visit. It will be the last. There were only 3 tables in the dining room! Starter: terrine... No preparation required, just presentation... The starters took 50 minutes to arrive! The portions have been reduced, which is a real shame. This used to be our favorite little restaurant on the slopes...

09/07/2026: A typical little bistro in a great location, nice neighborhood. Generous portions of good, traditional homemade dishes. Friendly staff, especially the waiter, but a minor complaint about the owner; I would have appreciated a bit more warmth.

08/07/2026: Unfortunately, it was a rather disappointing experience. The dishes weren't bad for the most part, but I don't really see what justifies the prices. Perhaps I was just unlucky, given the glowing reviews. I found the dressing on the Lyonnaise salad rather bland, especially for €12 a bowl. Having tried it in other establishments, and normally loving it, I found the tripe dish lacking in tenderness. The gribiche sauce had a slightly unpleasant bitterness. The canut's brains were just okay. For €6, you can't expect too much, but I've seen canut's brains presented more attractively and with a more appealing taste for the same price. As for my partner's dishes, her baked eggs lacked flavor, and her praline tartlet was rather bland and simplistic for €9.50. Her sirloin steak, however, was good; no complaints there. Nothing that warranted sending our food back to the kitchen, but overall quite disappointing for the price, especially compared to what you can find elsewhere. The paper tablecloth and the holey napkin only added to the overall poor value. To end on a positive note, the cracklings offered as appetizers were a nice touch, and our youngest server was lovely.

05/07/2026: Disappointed by your lack of professionalism. After claiming you had tried to contact us (false), you cancelled our reservation under the pretext of a 15-minute delay. A convenient excuse to close early? It's a shame, because hospitality and transparency are just as important as the food. In the future, don't confirm anything for 9:30 PM if you can't manage it… 5 tourists visiting Lyon; thankfully there are plenty of other nice places in Lyon!

04/07/2026: We had lunch today at 12:30 pm in this traditional Lyonnais restaurant, and what a wonderful discovery! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional kindness and warmth. The staff is incredibly attentive, the owners are equally welcoming, and the entire team, from the cooks to the chef, is passionate and dedicated to their customers. The food is simply outstanding. Generous portions, perfectly prepared, with authentic flavors that truly surprised us. Each dish is a real treat and demonstrates genuine expertise. The service is impeccable: quick, attentive, friendly, and highly professional. Frankly, it's flawless! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would without hesitation. For us, it's a perfect 20/20! A huge thank you to the entire team for this delightful and convivial experience. We will gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to discover a true Lyonnais bouchon where you feel right at home.

07/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience at Prairial. The dishes were all excellent, creative, and perfectly executed, with warm and attentive service. We might have appreciated an additional meat dish on the menu, but that's a minor point. On the other hand, the wine pairings didn't quite live up to our expectations and didn't provide the expected added value. Despite this, the experience remains of high quality and well worth discovering.

09/07/2026: Lovely waiting staff. Starters: - the pork was some of the best we’ve ever had and the cucumber salad was a great pairing - the soup was delicious, light and fragrant Mains: - fish was perfectly cooked, the sauce was subtle and loving - pigeon was very tasty, with a beautiful cherry sauce and al dente yellow courgettes, well-paired also. Desserts: - The compote was incredible, the use of various herbs (I don’t want to give it away!) created a unique flavour profile which we’ve never experienced before, truly unique, must try! - The rhubarb & ice cream was tangy and bold, strong on the acidic, fresh notes, truly delicious.

29/08/2026: It's a communal dining experience, so you're seated with "strangers," but that's what makes it memorable! The Lyonnaise cuisine is excellent, and the service is impeccable. They have great expertise if you want to immerse yourself in the local culture.

17/08/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! I absolutely loved **Mazette**. Here, the cuisine focuses on the essentials: beautiful ingredients, impeccable cooking, and dishes brimming with sincerity. There's no need for fuss when the quality of the ingredients is so high. It's exactly the kind of cuisine I appreciate: simple in appearance, but demanding in its execution. You can feel the respect for the ingredients, the expertise, and the desire to please. The welcome is warm, the service attentive, and the atmosphere relaxed, making the experience even more enjoyable. Congratulations to the entire team for this wonderful restaurant where, above all, you come for the taste. I will definitely be back!

16/06/2026: A real gem, discovered quite by chance during a quick trip to Lyon. The food is generous, indulgent, bursting with flavor, original, and so comforting. I felt like I was back in my grandmother's kitchen for a moment 😍 Bravo!

25/06/2026: A tiny, charming restaurant just steps from Place des Terreaux, right at the foot of the Croix Rousse hill, where I've dined several times and always gladly return when I want to relive (or share with others) the intimate and evocative experience of an evening in the dim light of its rooms filled with objects. Undoubtedly, the restaurant's defining characteristic is its D'Annunzio-esque atmosphere, which I believe remains the main reason people choose it and remember it. However, I must say that the cuisine doesn't rest on the laurels of its fascinating horror vacui and remains consistently good (though I must admit that it has almost always provided me and my guests with both pleasant surprises and minor disappointments on the same evening). I've recently discovered their cocktails, too, which reinterpret classics with that touch of originality you'd expect from such an unconventional place: the Negroni with rosemary smokiness and the Spritz with elderflower liqueur are truly excellent, but I recommend asking the price before ordering, as they risk skyrocketing your dinner bill, which otherwise usually remains within a reasonable range, appropriate for the unique nature of the place and its location. For those wondering, the restaurant's name is a tribute to Jacques Demy's iconic 1967 musical comedy of the same name (known in Italian as "Joséphine"), as confirmed by the many photographs and illustrations on the walls depicting Catherine Deneuve and Françoise Dorléac, the stars of the famous film. Reservations are highly recommended, given the limited seating available. Try it on a winter evening to appreciate its perfect climate... and you'll be back in the summer too ;-)

17/08/2026: Not disappointed at all for our first visit! We wanted a sandwich, but the daily special and the price for a Sunday (€15) convinced us. One thing is for sure: if I come back to Lyon, I know where to eat.
