24/03/2026: The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. The quenelle was amazing, by far the best. All the dishes were generous, and we wanted for nothing! They also had a good wine list, and we're delighted every time we come!

08/03/2026: One of the best pizzas in Lyon, in a small, discreet café as we like it, a small neighborhood bistro in the noble sense of the term, with welcoming, friendly and warm staff: a bubble of pleasure on all levels!

08/03/2026: It's okay. However, the wine list has changed. I tried L'Amicaille but it wasn't there, so I was suggested to try Fontaine Cagnard instead, but that's... not a good recommendation. Luckily, there was Fuso Cazzetti, so I ordered it myself and had a good one. And after I arrived and spoke to the female manager, I heard her turn around and use a mysterious onomatopoeia, "ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba" with her colleagues. I'm worried it might be a racist remark or a sarcastic remark about my hasty arrival. Please correct me if I misunderstood. At 7:20, I was the only customer. Still... I recommended the Fuso tasting.

We were pleasantly surprised by the chef's visit to our table before we left to ask our opinion. If we return to Lyon, we will choose this bouillon restaurant without hesitation.

01/04/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! Today was my third time dining at this restaurant, so I took the time and pleasure to review it. The French-Japanese fusion is perfectly executed! The flavors complement each other with precision and creativity. The menus are intelligently designed, showcasing high-quality ingredients, treated with care at every stage. From appetizer to dessert, the cooking is impeccable, demonstrating true expertise. A big thank you also to the service, which was welcoming and warm. The staff takes the time to explain the dishes, sometimes surprising, but always delicious. A culinary experience as enjoyable as it is memorable!

29/03/2026: No complaints about the meal. However, the owner's behavior was bizarre. You should really consider changing your spirits menu; verbena appears in the Chartreuse section (which seemed odd to me, but why not, I figured it might be a special vintage only restaurants have). There's a way to speak to people. Pagès verbena (ORGANIC, ABOVE ALL! The best in the world!!!) You know who I am, buddy. Also, just so you know, when serving and clearing tables, avoid pushing customers. We can discuss this further in person if you'd like; with the rush and the number of people at the table, we didn't have time to talk things through properly. This is the first time in my life I've ever left a comment about something like this, but the behavior shocked everyone at the table. P.S.: I don't see the connection between being more than expected and your deplorable behavior. Luckily your employee was there; his service was perfect, unlike yours. Perhaps it wasn't your day, or maybe you weren't yourself? You'll do better next time, I'm sure of it, young man. And please, don't act like you know everything about wines and spirits, especially when you don't know the level of knowledge of the people in front of you…

13/02/2026: Fantastic place. Every dish was an explosion of flavor, you could sense the passion behind every dish. EXCELLENT service! The wine selection was enviable, just as perfect as everything else! Wow, well done!

03/02/2026: Always a wonderful experience! From the service and the ever-improving selection of natural wines to the top-notch homemade cuisine, Le Troquet is a true delight! The little beef cheek croquettes are simply melt-in-your-mouth sweets. The fried chicken, a modern twist on karaage, is perfect. And even the desserts, including homemade chocolate mousse, are fantastic, with a particular favorite being the walnut and praline cream tart—wow, I recommend ordering one dessert per person! They offer excellent advice on wines and pairings, always with great suggestions. We simply had a wonderful time. A must-visit for tourists and locals alike! It's one of the best wine bars in Lyon. Bravo!

27/03/2026: My daughter and I arrived first, but we were served after other people who had been seated after us. We didn't order white wine or champagne, so we didn't receive the small olives served as an aperitif. I think there's a dress code for being served, as some of the other people in the restaurant that day were dressed appropriately. Perhaps it wasn't classy enough for them. Disappointed; clothes don't make the man, as they say. As for the meal, it met our expectations: original and decent.

25/03/2026: We went to this restaurant somewhat randomly, and it was a wonderful discovery. What I particularly missed was the friendliness and professionalism of the waiter, and of course, the house specialty: the frog leg dish. Moreover, it wasn't very busy that day, creating an intimate atmosphere that I loved.

This moment of sharing among friends allowed us to get together over truly generous and exquisitely prepared Alsatian galettes, expertly crafted by their chef. Indi and Thomas were particularly attentive and understanding in the face of a rather delicate situation... our friend Alexandre was unfortunately an hour late...

07/04/2026: I do not recommend this restaurant. To begin with the service: the first waitress was overly pushy and intrusive while taking our order for the appetizer and main course. She was particularly insistent about the wine, for example. Later, we were served by a cold man who rushed us through our desserts (it was 10:15 pm and the restaurant was still quite full). In short, the service was nonexistent. As for the food, the appetizers were good (chicken liver salad and poached egg in red wine sauce). The main courses were much more disappointing: a dry andouillette sausage with a side of floury potatoes and linguine with three small prawns and rather bland spinach. The desserts were a disaster: a tiramisu that released all its coffee and a praline tart that was awful—grainy and not at all creamy. In conclusion, even though the price isn't very high (which raises the rating a bit), DON'T GO THERE!

25/03/2026: We stopped by on a friend's recommendation and we weren't disappointed. Valerie, who greeted us, was very friendly, the veal kidneys in Madeira sauce were delicious and honestly quite inexpensive for Lyon. A very pleasant experience, I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back. Thank you!
