03/07/2026: We had a delicious breakfast at Le Dandelion. The food was high quality and very fresh. We had omelets presented on a plate with some herbs, fresh fruit with yogurt and granola, and freshly baked pastries. The matcha latte was made with good quality matcha. The staff is friendly and the service was perfect. We went back a few times during our stay in Lyon.

15/07/2026: I've been in the restaurant business for several years myself, but tonight, during the France-Spain match, I was truly impressed. The bar was packed, yet the waiter was incredible. He was running around everywhere without ever seeming overwhelmed, always with a smile and boundless energy. What struck me most was his interpersonal skills. I saw him adapt to each table: with some, he cracked jokes and laughed with them; with others, he was more composed and refined. He knew exactly how to behave depending on the people he was talking to. I even heard customers say they weren't going to order another drink, then he'd come over, chat with them for a couple of minutes, and they'd end up ordering again. Honestly, you can't make that up. In all my years in the restaurant business, I've rarely seen a waiter with such adaptability, such efficiency, and such a cheerful disposition during such a busy shift. He's exactly the kind of person who makes you want to come back. Well done to him, and well done to the whole team!

15/07/2026: We were looking for a good bar for game night, and even though it was packed, we were still welcomed with open arms. The cocktails? Honestly, hats off to the bartender who truly took us on a journey with his unique cocktails (always a smile on his face, so pleasant). The servers and service were warm and high-quality; we'll definitely be back. Thank you!

07/07/2026: A very good place that I highly recommend. This is my second time here and I'm just as satisfied as before. The food is plentiful and of high quality. It's just a little noisy due to its proximity to other people, but apart from that, it's a very good place.

26/06/2026: A wonderful surprise! Le Troquet offers delicious, varied, and sophisticated dishes, as well as niche wines. The service is quick and friendly. Absolutely nothing to complain about; it was perfect and delicious from start to finish!

19/06/2026: What a magnificent experience in this divine setting! The concept of sharing dishes among guests is brilliant. The food is of very high quality and the selection is very varied. The daily specials are original. Everything we ordered was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Kudos to the kitchen! The wines are superb and the selection is very diverse. The owner knows his stuff and will try to please you before pushing the most expensive bottle. We ordered a wine priced at €54, and he described it to us. We preferred a more full-bodied wine, and he served us a bottle priced at €39. That's true hospitality and class. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

05/07/2026: The first time we came was one evening on a whim during a business trip to Lyon a little over a year ago, and we fell in love with the place, the food, and the staff—they were fantastic. The restaurant was packed, though, and we booked a table at the last minute that had just become available... but the quality was top-notch. We had the €42 set menu, and it was delicious! And what about that quenelle with crayfish sauce and the praline tart? Absolutely divine! For our next business trip at the end of June, we left the Var region early so we could be in Lyon for lunch and go back to eat at Le Poelon d'Or. Why not? The call of the quenelle! The staff was lovely, the artichoke/foie gras starter was excellent, and the quenelle with crayfish sauce? (Shhh, I'm savoring it, and no talking with my mouth full!) As for the praline tart... simply amazing! I think Le Poelon d'Or will remain our go-to little bistro for our visits to Lyon or when we're passing nearby! Don't change a thing and keep up your high standards in every area. Thank you!

01/08/2026: Impeccable service, very pleasant waiter, but a terrible disappointment in terms of taste. There was no balance of flavors (the vinegar was poorly executed), and the dessert was extremely bitter, barely edible. I'll go back after checking if the chef is on vacation or in the kitchen, but tonight, it was unacceptable that a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) would send out dishes so poorly executed. It deserves another try outside of holiday periods.

The flavors complement each other with precision and creativity. The menus are intelligently designed, showcasing high-quality ingredients, treated with care at every stage. From appetizer to dessert, the cooking is impeccable, demonstrating true expertise. A big thank you also to the service, which was welcoming and warm. The staff takes the time to explain the dishes, sometimes surprising, but always delicious. A culinary experience as enjoyable as it is memorable!
