15/04/2026: Family meal, we all enjoyed it. Quick and welcoming service.

14/04/2026: The food was very tasty, that's for sure, but… - We had to wait quite a while to get in, even though we saw people leaving the restaurant. When they finally let us in, they did seat about 7 or 8 tables at once, but the wait time wasn't the same for everyone… - The appetizers arrived quickly, but it took 20-25 minutes between finishing them and the main course. - After finishing his main course, my husband had to leave (we went during his lunch break on a weekday, and because of the wait and how long it took for the food to arrive, he didn't have time for anything else). I then waited another 15 minutes before they even asked if I wanted dessert, and then another 15-20 minutes for it to arrive. In total, just the waiting time was too much for a meal that was very tasty, but not the best in the area. Especially during the week, you're better off taking advantage of the set menu at any other restaurant.

30/03/2026: Excellent lunch at Café Terroir: attentive service, expertly prepared cuisine, and a perfectly selected wine list. Everything is there for a truly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it.

18/04/2026: An exceptional, top-notch restaurant. You can taste the chef's passion for fine cuisine and their mastery of it in every dish. The server was truly delightful. The foie gras with truffles was the best foie gras we've ever had. The meat was delicious. Special mention goes to the morel and praline sauces for dessert. The French toast was divine. Thank you to the chef and the team!

24/01/2026: Dinner and atmosphere were perfect. The homemade terrine was to die for, the pork cheek with its magnificent mashed potatoes, all served in a relaxed, homey atmosphere. Kudos to Xavier for his humor and to Julien for his culinary talents. A restaurant to enjoy without hesitation. Claude and Laurent, the Parisians. See you soon.

12/04/2026: Sunday brunch is highly recommended. The starters are plentiful, individual, varied, and all excellent. The main courses are of very high quality, and the numerous desserts provide a perfect ending to the meal. The experience is clearly commensurate with the price.

13/12/2025: I went here with my girlfriend a week ago, and the experience was delightful. The restaurant is really authentic, everything is homemade, the waiter is kind, and the chef/owner is really welcoming. If I come back to Lyon, I'll come back for sure!

02/03/2026: I discovered this restaurant. Its concept of "open-faced sandwiches" at affordable prices is original—except for the oysters: only 4 plus a small glass of white wine for 10 euros... But everything else is varied, with generous portions, and the waitress is welcoming and friendly with a smile! Well located on the peninsula. I recommend it for a lunch or dinner break—original and very pleasant, almost like stepping out of a tourist trap!

01/04/2026: Warning! The low rating and negative reviews are due to the practices of the previous manager; the 5-star rating is now well-deserved! I come here for a meal or an aperitif every time I'm in Lyon. I had lunch here yesterday with colleagues who were all delighted. Don't hesitate to try out its ambiance and banquettes, which give the café a lot of charm.

26/03/2026: Tattoos, yes!, but a smile and a professional demeanor are optional. I was planning to come back, but the persistence of these observations creates doubt! Will there be a third attempt? ... There is competition. Customers are more easily lost than gained... So!
