09/06/2026: The restaurant had a great atmosphere, but unfortunately the food wasn't good quality. A chicken Milanese cutlet that was re-prepared and defrosted cost €26. The same went for the burger. I won't be back.

The foie gras with truffles was the best foie gras we've ever had. The meat was delicious. Special mention goes to the morel and praline sauces for dessert. The French toast was divine. 21/03/2026: A wonderful discovery last night at L'Encart with our friends! The dishes were truly sublime, fresh, and generous, as were the desserts and the wine. The owner, who is very friendly and took the time to chat, offered us a digestif. We will definitely be back. Don't change a thing! Well done to the whole team.

28/04/2026: Waitress was not helpful and behaved bothered. Asked about a leek and kiwi dish, was told “it’s made with leeks.” Thanks not helpful. The chicken is mediocre and way overpriced. Automatically chose USD for me when I paid, costing me more. Waitress pretended to not understand. Hard pass is my advice.

12/05/2026: The atmosphere is pleasant and the setting is great; the food is delicious and plentiful. Lyon's cuisine is very varied and succulent.

08/05/2026: Our French friends introduced us to this little restaurant with its typical Lyonnais menu, in a lovely atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, and my partner and I were eager to discover Lyonnaise cuisine: mission accomplished, we were delighted! The St-Marcellin crisp was good and flavorful, although I've had better elsewhere. The pike quenelle was excellent, but served with simple white rice… a somewhat disappointing side dish. On the other hand, the pork belly on cervelle de canut… wow! Absolutely delicious! We loved it! A must-try! The Lyonnaise sausage was a little less impressive: the sausage was a bit stiff, and the side dish was ordinary. As for desserts, we were particularly impressed: the crème caramel and the praline tart were delicious! The chocolate fondant was a real treat! The menu is a bit pricey. We realize that restaurant prices in France have increased a lot compared to before… unfortunately!

12/12/2025: A truly excellent place, whether you're looking for great food, a wonderful atmosphere, or lovely decor... I was already familiar with this restaurant, which has a very good reputation for being a classic Lyonnais bouchon... and now I can say that its reputation is well-deserved. I highly recommend it.
