14/02/2026: I found the place quite nice, not too noisy, with a limited menu, suggesting it was all homemade. The mushroom ravioli were very good. However, they say the quality of any place is measured by the state of its toilets, and here, it was a disaster: a strong smell of urine, dirty grout, and hardly any soap left. It's a shame; it was the only negative point.

28/04/2026: A place I frequent for lunch: Le Lafayette, often with my family, and it's always a pleasure to return. The restaurant is quite small, so I recommend making a reservation. It has a very convivial atmosphere, somewhat reminiscent of a traditional Lyonnais bistro. The service is relaxed, sometimes a little informal, but always warm—you really feel at home. And when the owner is in the mood, he even sings along to French classics, which adds to the charm of the place 🎶 As for the food, it's difficult for me to judge the entire menu… because I always order the same thing 😄: the rare flank steak with shallot sauce, served on a large board with fries and salad. And it's incredible. The cooking is perfectly executed, the meat is tender, the sauce delicious… a real treat every time. It's generous, flavorful, and very well prepared. For meat lovers, it's definitely a place to know. My companions tried other dishes and were always very satisfied as well: you can taste the homemade quality, the fresh ingredients, and the food prepared to order. In short, an authentic, friendly, and generous place that I recommend without hesitation—and where I will continue to return with pleasure. ✨

01/06/2026: ⭐ Overall rating: 7.5/10 A great find! This African restaurant in Lyon was a wonderful discovery. I had a lovely time and, most importantly, a delicious meal. The portions were generous, flavorful, and carefully prepared. Special mention goes to the chicken: perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and, most importantly, not dry, which is often a weak point in this type of dish. The side dishes were also excellent, with well-balanced flavors. A minor drawback was the sweet potato fries, which were unavailable during my visit. Apparently, they had been out of stock for several days. This is a bit of a shame, as they are often a popular side dish, and sweet potatoes are generally quite easy to find. As for the ambiance, the terrace is perfect for enjoying the nice weather, which is very pleasant. However, it has limited seating and opens directly onto the street. Inside, the space is adequate, but it was quite warm during my visit, with noticeable cooking smells. Air conditioning or better ventilation would significantly improve customer comfort. The service also deserves a mention. The woman single-handedly manages the kitchen, reception, service, and payments. Despite this heavy workload, she remains cheerful and does her best to satisfy customers. This can sometimes lead to a slight wait, but it's understandable. 19/05/2026: Fantastic concept, really excellent: the venue, the atmosphere, and the value for money compared to other exceptional concerts. The live interview conducted on-site with headphones was a great idea. I'd been wanting to come for a long time and I wasn't disappointed.

Not only is it overpriced and average at best, but as we left the restaurant the greasy cook felt the urge to shout sexually explicit nonsense at the women in our group, while the rest of the male staff (all of them smoking) did absolutely nothing. STAY AWAY
