26/09/2024: For the first time at Olivier the Master of the place we were not disappointed and for good reason everything was perfect the extremely warm welcome from Marie, the intimate decor is baroque specific to (Bouchons Lyonnais) and of course the "food" from La Meunière to bang their ass on the counter 😂 The Meurettes eggs, the chanterelle ravioli, the grilled teats, the grilled andouillette, and the famous Veal's Head revisited by Olivier 👍 a killer never tasted in this way with smoked bacon is excellent and very tasty. “My mom, whose 91st birthday was, enjoyed this TDV.” The list might not end because we want to eat everything, but we will come back to continue discovering the Meunière menu. Well done Olivier and Annick, keep it up with your team, you are the Best Bouchon in Lyon. 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

03/12/2024: De bien belles assiettes aux associations recherchées pour un très bon rapport qualité prix (A l'exception des couteaux gratinés proposés ce soir là hors carte, et vraiment indignes d'une telle maison) Dommage que la lenteur du service et surtout l'accueil, au départ ampoulé et virant rapidement au méprisant, ait vraiment gâché ce qui s'annoncait comme une belle expérience culinaire.

15/11/2024: Le restaurant Thomas propose une carte succincte, bien élaborée et bien exécutée, avec des associations intéressantes qui fonctionnent. On déguste de bons produits frais, respectés et bien travaillés ! Service efficace et agréable. Attention toutefois à l'équilibre et à l'assaisonnement en sel, qui pour un même plat était pour une personne très peu salé (ce qui allait parfaitement pour le plat) et pour l'autre très salé ! Nous reviendrons avec enthousiasme à cette bonne adresse !

What I wanted to talk about was the two bouncers at the entrance who turned me away without giving me the slightest reason and in a rather rude manner, one SUNDAY evening at 11:30 p.m. I just wanted to have a quick beer after working all day, isn't that possible? Probably they didn't let them in because, not long before, I was talking a little loudly on the phone with another Italian friend of mine? I don't know, but after this scene, I think I'll avoid coming back here. That's great, see you ever again.

23/09/2024: We had a wonderbox and we went to this restaurant for the first time. Nothing to say about the welcome, apart from the interminable wait between the 2 courses... but it was simply not good. The scallop cake: but where are the scallops we only have the shell for the rest, frankly I prefer not to know what's inside... fish crumbs, I even found a bone with this lobster bisque sauce, it looks like it came out of a can, and then the risotto with its half lobster.. The lobster is rubbery, it has no taste, the risotto is overcooked with plenty of cheese and all of this drowned in the same sauce as the first course... I don't know who prepares the dishes, but it's not is certainly not a chef... in short, when I got home my husband was sick and I hope not to be... to run away...

24/11/2024: A very disappointing experience. I had booked this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, but as soon as we arrived, things got off to a bad start: the table was neither set nor cleaned. After a long wait, we had to go find the staff so they could finally take care of us. We ordered a sweet white wine, but were served a dry white wine. The meat was not cooked correctly, and when we reported the error, the staff insisted, in bad faith, that everything was correct. The worst part was finding cockroaches, not only on the table, but also at the bar, which made the experience even more unpleasant. And as if that wasn't enough, when it came time to pay, we were wrongly accused of not having paid, without ever apologizing. Certainly, a commercial gesture was made: a dessert and a meter of shots were offered to us. But that’s not enough to make up for a birthday spoiled by so many failures. P.S. good music
