24/08/2024: We had a fantastic meal at L'Epicerie de Ginette. The carpaccio tartine was absolutely delicious. The service was warm and friendly, which meant a lot in our first night in Lyon. The wine selection is vast, and you could easily sit and eat and drink happily at this place for a long time. When we come back to Lyon, I will make sure to come back here.

07/08/2024: Difficile de choisir dans ce dédale de rues avec tous ces restaurants et toutes ces terrasses. Beaucoup sont de bouchons et certaines adresses cotées sur TripAdvisor sont fermées ce mois d août. Petite adresse sympa sans plus dans ruelle . Au menu toutes sortes de tartines agrémentées de légumes, viandes ou poissons au choix avec un petit rosé bien frais et une addition pas trop salée et digeste. Service sans trop d attention pour le client.

25/05/2024: Deplorable welcome!!! A woman doesn't even take the time to give us the timetable even though we tell her that we don't know the ice rink and that we have driven 2 hours with 3 children. We take the ticket at 11:21 a.m. and the ice rink closes at 12 p.m. and she doesn't tell us!!!! What use is she in a RECEPTION if she can't even give reception information!!! And what's more, I ask her for skates, she tells me that they don't exist and at the skates the ladies tell me that of course they do exist! Incompetent, mean, unwelcoming, unpleasant and so on. Has nothing to do in a public reception where people come to have fun! Fortunately we found a very understandable employee who listened to us. (Hence the 2 stars otherwise 0) In short, pay attention to the reception, ask for all the information because apart from "collecting" it is useless (that's what she told me when I went to ask her for accounts)

30/04/2024: Very nice to spend time with family. I recommend the ice hockey matches. Small downside for the speakers (too bad for the atmosphere during matches)

12/08/2024: Découvert par hasard, ce restaurant mérite que l’on s’y arrête: cadre super agréable, service impeccable, plats délicieux! Que dire de plus tout était parfait! Bravo!!

10/08/2024: Certainement un des meilleurs rapport qualité/prix de la rue Mercière. Nous étions déjà venu en hiver mais la nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse et la bonne cuisine. La burratz était délicieuse.

25/07/2024: Aggressive and rude boss who hits cars parked in front of his bar in perfectly legitimate parking spaces or sits on them. Some drunk customers on the sidewalk are no better and contribute to this disrespect. Although the bar looks optically appealing, I strongly cancel.

10/07/2024: ⚠️TO FLEE⚠️ The atmosphere is sticky, plastic glasses, unpleasant or even malicious service, none of the equipment works (air conditioning, music, screens, etc.). Plus, the boss, the man in the hat already cited in many comments, is extremely aggressive. If the establishment does not put you off, its interventions and its inquisitive and unsympathetic presence will end up scaring you away.

03/12/2024: De bien belles assiettes aux associations recherchées pour un très bon rapport qualité prix (A l'exception des couteaux gratinés proposés ce soir là hors carte, et vraiment indignes d'une telle maison) Dommage que la lenteur du service et surtout l'accueil, au départ ampoulé et virant rapidement au méprisant, ait vraiment gâché ce qui s'annoncait comme une belle expérience culinaire.

15/11/2024: Le restaurant Thomas propose une carte succincte, bien élaborée et bien exécutée, avec des associations intéressantes qui fonctionnent. On déguste de bons produits frais, respectés et bien travaillés ! Service efficace et agréable. Attention toutefois à l'équilibre et à l'assaisonnement en sel, qui pour un même plat était pour une personne très peu salé (ce qui allait parfaitement pour le plat) et pour l'autre très salé ! Nous reviendrons avec enthousiasme à cette bonne adresse !

22/07/2024: The food is very good overall. But it's really too expensive for relatively small portions (30 euros for a small fillet of beef) and 10 for a Lyonnaise salad. Honestly the quality is there but the price on the other hand... I think you can find just as good but at more reasonable prices in Lyon

19/07/2024: Excellente cuisine, belle présentation dans un cadre agréable. Personnel chaleureux . Un plus apréciable à Lyon, parking gratuit sous le musée.

12/05/2024: Nous avons passé un joli moment en amoureux. L’espace dans la brasserie est bien aménagé et agréable, on s’y est tout de suite senti à l’aise. Les produits sont frais, de saison, et travaillés sans être dénaturé, mais avec un p’tit truc en plus. Bref on en pris plein les pupilles et papilles! Le prix est franchement raisonnable niveau plaisir/prix. On a même eu un sourire du Chef, qui est un véritable passionné!

13/08/2024: We had a lovely lunch here in May. The owners were delightful and so friendly. You can tell they really care about the food quality and making sure their guests are happy. I had the traditional pike pie and it was delicious. We were all very happy with our meals and would highly recommend.

28/07/2024: Très belle adresse, pas loin des quais de Saône. Petite carte, mais cuisine généreuse, préparée dans les règles de l’art. Le feuilleté au boudin en entrée vous ouvre réveille les papilles et vous prépare pour la suite. L’andouillette est très bien préparée. J’ai adoré la sauce moutarde et surtout la purée bien crémeuse. Une ile flottante, légère de par le nom et la constitution, histoire de finir en douceur. Service impeccable et amical. La cheffe de salle est à vis soins, en vous conseillant mets et vins.

14/09/2024: One word...disgusting! An outrage to Lyon's gastronomy. How can we leave the appellation of Lyonnais cork to this palace of frozen pâté en croute, Lidl vinaigrette and charred meat???

04/09/2024: Very disappointed, for a so-called traditional Lyonnais restaurant TO FEE!!!!!!!! Where to start, very unpleasant and bitter waiter, the waiter serves you with annoyance, if you didn't like your job, do something else sir!!! Icy atmosphere, no background music, nothing. Dusty dishes, not washed for a while, questionable hygiene!! Inedible dish, too much fat, too salty, not very appetizing. Manager in the image of his restaurant, does not accept criticism and lets you know. Very bad experience, I wanted to give them a chance given the 3.7 rating but it was a very bad idea. TO RUN AWAY!!!
