27/05/2026: We were looking forward to enjoying breakfast at your establishment, but as the terrace was in full sun, we asked for the parasol on your lovely terrace to be opened a little. The waitress, who wasn't very friendly, categorically refused. We had come on Monday at the same time and had been very well received by the waiter on duty that day. What a shame!

23/06/2026: Let me tell you guys and gals. Wow. Im an American visiting France and I hate snail, but i did not have snail here! I ordered the starter/main/desert and boy was i in for a treat. It was phenomenal. I had some kind of sausage and egg starter which, admittedly would rank 3rd out of the 3 but still delicious. My main was a sausage with nuts in it and mashed potatoes which was my second favorite, and my desert was lemon pie which was literally amazing. There was just the right amount of lemon, not too much not too little... and the crust. Omfg the crust guys. I have never actually wanted to eat the crust but heck I left some of the pi I was so full and ate the dang crust. Idk im not a food expert or anything but that was fricking awesome and I hate foreign food so that says something.

07/06/2026: Nothing special. Would not go back not recommend. Food was sub-par, but cheap. Sat outside-noisy. Went because it was mentioned on an expensive local food tour on Viator🤔

26/07/2026: You have to visit this place at least once in your life! But please, put another air conditioner downstairs because it's insane in the summer. Edit: The security was top-notch, which is great.

05/08/2026: We are regulars at this café. Every time we're in Lyon, we're always delighted to come here for breakfast, and until now we'd never been disappointed. Unfortunately, this time, the experience was quite different. As indicated online and on the café's window, opening time is 8:00 a.m. So we arrived at that time. Two young women were there: one barely glanced at us before walking past, without any real welcome. We were then told that the café wouldn't actually open until 9:30 a.m. because "nothing was ready," even though the terrace was set up, the doors were wide open, and everything suggested that the establishment was open. It's a real shame, because we had such a great impression of this place. For our last visit to Lyon before leaving, we unfortunately left with a big disappointment. We hope that the posted opening hours will be updated and that the reception will regain the quality that made us want to return on each visit…

03/08/2026: Very disappointed. We simply asked to replace the scrambled eggs with an omelet for our two two-and-a-half-year-old daughters. The waitress went to ask the chef, who was smoking right in front of us. Without even coming to see us, he curtly replied, "No." I asked the waitress if it was really impossible, specifying that they were two two-and-a-half-year-olds. The answer: "No." It was a Monday at 9:45 a.m., and the restaurant was empty. It wasn't a complicated request, nor was it a busy time. This complete lack of flexibility and customer service is hard to understand. Such a curt response to such a simple request, especially concerning young children, is frankly disappointing.

11/07/2026: I came on the morning of July 4th with a friend who didn't speak French, but the waitress was quite unpleasant and, in her words, "in a hurry." I left immediately. It's a shame they weren't more welcoming and patient with a foreigner who was kind and wanted to make an effort to take our order. It's a pity because the setting is nice, but the service definitely needs improvement.

24/08/2026: To anyone who sees and takes the time to read this review: avoid this bar. We stopped for five minutes to get out of the rain. My pregnant partner, feeling cold, politely asked the owner if we could stay inside for a few minutes while waiting for our Uber. The man, very unpleasant, pressured us to buy drinks. Fine, I asked for a coffee, he refused, so we left. As we were leaving, my partner was hit with a table by the waitress who was clearing them. No apology, of course, just a cold, angry look. We stayed for five minutes, and that was enough to understand that this bar is just awful. Thanks for your time.

31/12/2025: The food was served cold, then sent back to the kitchen and brought out again on the same plate after we had already eaten—probably just reheated in the microwave. This is unacceptable, especially for a restaurant with this reputation. In addition to being unacceptable in terms of quality, this raises a serious hygiene issue. Judging by the numerous negative reviews, I see that I am unfortunately not the only one who was disappointed.

31/12/2025: If you're looking for a good culinary experience, look elsewhere. It's really nothing special.
