12/02/2026: We had a moment of pure bliss at this neighborhood restaurant. Simple, classic Lyonnais dishes, but expertly prepared. I've never tasted such a tender, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth tripe! But the andouillette sausage was just as good! Nor was the bone marrow tart! Nor the foie gras! The welcome is friendly, the atmosphere is warm, and the customers are all smiling and chatty because you can tell they're happy to be there and to enjoy such a wonderful time with such delicious food! This unpretentious restaurant truly deserves its title as the best Lyonnais bouchon, even if it's in Villeurbanne! Its only ambition is to delight us with flavorful and precise cuisine! We can't wait to go back!

07/02/2026: I've tried this place twice recently: One lunch with the set menu One dinner with the frog legs menu A recommended spot for a good time with friends, but with one drawback: the dining rooms are extremely noisy.

17/02/2026: I had the opportunity to book Bieristan for a wedding reception. The welcome, service, and food were incredible. The evening's organization was seamless, guests were served promptly, the atmosphere was festive, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The venue also offers access to a projector, microphones, and optional entertainment (karaoke, for example). The tarte flambée is excellent (and I'm from Alsace, so that says a lot). The wide selection of beers was also a hit with the guests. Beyond this one event, it's a bar that has never disappointed me in my previous experiences. 5/5

08/02/2026: When you dare to sell a cheese plate, the least you can do is put some cheese on it. I pay €14 for this when there's more to eat at the food bank. It's a disgrace!

19/02/2026: When I'm really missing Brittany, I head to Tonnerre de Brest to get my fix... everything is just like there. I love reading the naysayers' reviews of this little corner of paradise; they say exactly what you won't find: because it's not like any other place, because the galettes are real, crispy, and homemade... everything is both simple and delicious... you close your eyes and all that's missing is the cry of the seagulls ⛵️

04/07/2025: Second time I've come, and second time it's the same... We waited 20 minutes for just an ice cream and a milkshake, having to ask the server again. The service is very, very slow! There's a real sense of a lack of organization and optimization in the service department. It's a shame because I would have really liked to try the food, but it makes you think. I hope it will be improved one day because it looks good!

02/07/2025: We had a charcuterie board mid-afternoon with a drink. A good point because we were able to eat something, but it was just a stopgap, so we weren't going there to enjoy a meal.

23/01/2026: I've been there three times, this time I ordered a hamburger, and everything was homemade and delicious, carefully prepared and perfectly seasoned; it's truly a dream spot.

18/02/2026: The staff were very welcoming. However, the wait for service was a bit long. Very disappointed by the portion size and a bit pricey for a salad.

29/12/2023: Très déçus. On attendait beaucoup de ce resto. Nous n'avons pas apprécié nos plats qui ne sont pas en phase avec les prix. Le dessert la "sphère au chocolat" n'a rien de spécial (un peu trop sucré). Nous ne reviendrons pas. Trop cher pour ce que c'est. Point positif : le service et le cadre.
