13/07/2026: While the bar is really nice inside and the wine selection is extensive, the prices for the platters and other sharing platters are very high compared to the portion sizes. Paying €25 for a mixed platter is fine, but it should include a bit more of everything.

15/04/2026: I'm not a gambler; I went into the establishment to admire the architecture and decor. Everything is beautiful, shiny, bursting with a thousand colors, plus there's a small "museum" corner, which is of questionable quality but transports you back to the old slot machines.

13/04/2026: Unpleasant welcome from a young man at the security checkpoint, rude and haughty bartender with tattoos. If that's how she wants to sell those €17 packs of cigarettes, it's expensive. A smile costs nothing. Beautiful casino.

04/07/2025: During a business trip, we booked a room at this hotel for its proximity and convenience. The room was functional and standard, suitable for one night, but a small refrigerator would have been appreciated, especially in the heat. We had been proactive in asking if we could check in a little early, as we might arrive very late. The staff was very understanding and accommodating, which is worth noting. However, a mistake was made when giving us the card: the wrong room key, which prevented us from entering. We had to contact reception to have someone let us in. Another small drawback: breakfast ends at 9:00 a.m., which is a little early, especially for a hotel. We arrived at 9:30 a.m. and everything was already tidied up. Fortunately, upon our departure, we were kindly offered a croissant and a pain au chocolat, which we greatly appreciated. In summary: a practical hotel, with a good welcome despite a few awkward moments. Suitable for a short business trip.

01/07/2025: The young man at reception did everything he could to help us and resolve a problem with a door and key that wasn't working. He was very pleasant and friendly, thank you. The room was clean and quiet, with excellent air conditioning. I recommend it.

05/07/2026: We arrived at 9 pm... it was only at our request that our order was taken and our drinks served 30 minutes later.... We were there for two hours... an interminable amount of time. The inexperienced waitress apologized, but we didn't know what the problem was because we weren't the only ones annoyed by the wait... seeing others being served. In any case, the manager didn't apologize, and no compensation was offered. The meal was good, but this long wait ruined what should have been a pleasant and relaxing experience.

24/05/2026: We stayed one night at this hotel. The room was very clean, and the staff were welcoming and accommodating. Furthermore, the location is ideal for exploring the city center. We recommend it!

12/07/2026: A little disappointed… We came for drinks in the afternoon with some friends, and we brought our own food. Unfortunately, we were told we couldn't eat on the terrace. I think that's a shame. But the woman who took our order was lovely and kind.

11/07/2026: Catastrophic welcome, sour waitress, dirty tables. The waitress threw a menu for four onto the table without even saying hello. We had to ask for a minimal cleaning of the sticky table. The location is by the lake, but they've already stopped serving ice cream at 5:15 pm in the summer. 01/11/2025: Stopped by several times for a coffee or a drink, small platters... alone, with family, or for a business meeting. After several years, I've concluded: a lot of turnover, very young servers, probably paid a pittance according to the pay scale, and the same managers rotating through the chain's establishments (you rarely see them in the dining room, not even during rush hour). In short, the recipe for toxic, cushy management that damages the city's reputation, and which should be replaced by people passionate about their work and who know how to run a business. And also, probably, they should pay them properly to avoid driving away their staff and discouraging young people from this wonderful profession. I recently remember a young woman, Lola, I think, who deserves to be a manager. Quick, professional, smiling, but stressed. You can feel the stress of the servers and the difficulties they face. People clearly come here for the setting, the proximity to the Parc Floral. It's magnificent. So it's justified on the bill, nothing shocking. BUT, the staff is underpaid and exploited. There are long delays between The moment we were seated, the moment our order was taken, and then we were served—even during quiet periods. But during rush hour, it's terrible. Every time, it saddened me to see the waitresses (and sometimes waiters) running around in all directions, left alone when people arrived in groups, without time to clear and clean the tables, constantly being called away. And with no colleagues coming to help, they had to deal with the discontent of customers who had the wrong people. I know I won't return to any of the Epikur group's establishments until the management changes. And I advise both locals and tourists against it. One of the few quality restaurants, L'Estrade, has closed; we won't find that same quality at La Rotonde, even though it has everything to be an exceptional establishment because of its location. A huge waste.

08/04/2026: I was surprised to be served a squashed almond croissant when there were nicer ones available. It's the kind of detail that makes you not want to come back. It's not very professional. It's a shame, because it detracts from the experience.
