31/08/2026: We went there this evening, August 31, 2026. We used to know and love this restaurant. For the past two years, everything has changed. We ordered frogs' legs because they used to be very good. The waiter arrived with large plates containing only 3 or 4 frogs' legs and a large bowl of fries. Total disappointment! The waiter told us there were fewer because they were bigger. I almost burst out laughing; they weren't big at all. We paid over €50 for an aperitif. We will never go back and we will spread the word to find out what's going on in this restaurant. The guy at the bar, around 60 years old, is not friendly at all. Avoid this restaurant and enjoy yourself at another restaurant worthy of the name.

13/07/2026: While the bar is really nice inside and the wine selection is extensive, the prices for the platters and other sharing platters are very high compared to the portion sizes. Paying €25 for a mixed platter is fine, but it should include a bit more of everything.

31/07/2026: Great products, you want to buy everything! Breakfast on the terrace. Parking available. Friendly staff. I had a delicious lemon brioche, and the espresso and hot chocolate were excellent. Thank you for a lovely experience.

20/07/2026: The pains au chocolat we ordered were truly incredible. It's a shame that the blond woman, as soon as she realized we didn't speak French, started looking annoyed, as if I were doing her a favor by having me in front of her at that moment. It's truly a shame that such a great place like this has such rude staff.

08/09/2026: Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. We had booked a table for lunch to coincide with a Dragon Boat show and had specifically requested a table a little further back so we could eat in peace. This request was completely ignored: we were seated right in the middle of a walkway, in a particularly noisy environment. The service was also very poor, with little attention to detail and, most importantly, a large number of dishes on the menu were unavailable, leaving very few choices. As for the food, it was another huge disappointment: very average quality, uninspired presentation, and an overall impression more akin to cafeteria food than what one expects from a restaurant. Between the noise, the location (despite our prior request), the service, the lack of choice, and the quality of the dishes, we left very disappointed with this lunch. An experience we will unfortunately not repeat.

07/09/2026: The food was beyond mediocre: The mussels marinière were disgusting! In a tasteless broth! The chestnut ice cream was a scoop of vanilla ice cream with three large chestnuts stuck in it, and runny whipped cream! The bread was stale and defrosted! The service was adequate.

07/07/2026: Absolutely avoid this place! The rude staff threatened us to leave their hotel and parking lot! We booked a room for €120 for three people, and the parking fee of €10 for one night wasn't even included in the price. The room smelled musty, the bathroom looked like it was from the war era—it's not a hotel, more like a haunted house. The photos are nothing like reality.

04/11/2025: Great time with the family, we were right to arrive early. The meal was perfectly fine, the desserts were nothing special.

01/11/2025: Stopped by several times for a coffee or a drink, small platters... alone, with family, or for a business meeting. After several years, I've concluded: a lot of turnover, very young servers, probably paid a pittance according to the pay scale, and the same managers rotating through the chain's establishments (you rarely see them in the dining room, not even during rush hour). In short, the recipe for toxic, cushy management that damages the city's reputation, and which should be replaced by people passionate about their work and who know how to run a business. And also, probably, they should pay them properly to avoid driving away their staff and discouraging young people from this wonderful profession. I recently remember a young woman, Lola, I think, who deserves to be a manager. Quick, professional, smiling, but stressed. You can feel the stress of the servers and the difficulties they face. People clearly come here for the setting, the proximity to the Parc Floral. It's magnificent. So it's justified on the bill, nothing shocking. BUT, the staff is underpaid and exploited. There are long delays between The moment we were seated, the moment our order was taken, and then we were served—even during quiet periods. But during rush hour, it's terrible. Every time, it saddened me to see the waitresses (and sometimes waiters) running around in all directions, left alone when people arrived in groups, without time to clear and clean the tables, constantly being called away. And with no colleagues coming to help, they had to deal with the discontent of customers who had the wrong people. I know I won't return to any of the Epikur group's establishments until the management changes. And I advise both locals and tourists against it. One of the few quality restaurants, L'Estrade, has closed; we won't find that same quality at La Rotonde, even though it has everything to be an exceptional establishment because of its location. A huge waste.

19/08/2026: Sir, not at all friendly, no greeting, no smile, very cold. I asked for a pain au chocolat, he served me a chocolate macaron, he didn't even separate the apricot tart from the macarons. Coughing, so it broke. Unacceptable!! I do not recommend at all

30/07/2026: I was delighted to find a vegan option (a very good Asian-inspired bowl) in addition to a vegetarian bowl! It's a real shame they didn't recycle, though, and the air conditioning was too strong. No vegan desserts, except for melon.

21/08/2026: The freshness of the products leaves much to be desired for the price paid. A serious lack of professionalism. The service is truly lacking; you feel uncomfortable as soon as you walk in.
