21/08/2026: We were looking for a restaurant for two in Aix-les-Bains and, after reading the many positive reviews for L’Évasion, we decided to make a reservation. And we were so glad we did! From the moment we arrived, we felt at ease. Seated on the terrace, we appreciated the calm and pleasant atmosphere, despite the nearby foot traffic. The service was very professional, attentive, and efficient. As for the food, it was excellent: refined, flavorful, and beautifully presented dishes. A wonderful discovery and a place we highly recommend. Definitely worth trying if you're ever in Aix-les-Bains.

14/08/2026: Always perfect. I come once a year and wish I could come more often. Four-star service; the owner is incredibly kind. The food is always a delight, something out of the ordinary. An exceptional experience that I highly recommend. And they also have a delicious white wine, Pakhus.

12/09/2026: We had a wonderful meal and a fantastic time. The welcome was exceptionally warm, with plenty of explanations about the products, their origins, and their history, which made the experience even more special. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will gladly return.

26/08/2026: Had a great meal experience at Aux Crepes. Had a savory then a sweet dessert crepe. Both were delicious. This is a small establishment with the owner running a one man show, I honestly don’t know how he does it alone but he does and does it extremely well. You can tell he loves his work. The decor is simple and nice, check out the wall light fixtures in the back dining area. The place is spotlessly clean. If I was going to be in town longer I would definitely be coming back here.

06/09/2026: This is my second visit, and I'm just as impressed as before. I love the concept: local, delicious, and high-quality products. Special mention to the waitresses who managed the service so well despite the crowd; they were incredibly kind. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a truly enjoyable meal.

16/09/2026: There were four of us at the table on a Sunday evening. The initial welcome was quite satisfactory, but after that, nothing was up to par. Looking at the menu, it's clear this is a restaurant that doesn't know its own identity or what makes it special: they have pinsa, burgers, French specialties, pasta, and lost somewhere in the middle of the menu is a Savoyard dish. We ordered, and we couldn't finish anything because it was so bland and greasy. I had a pulled pork burger with large pieces of sinew and fat, and the avocado and cheese were tasteless. The fries were poorly cooked; they were white and oozing grease, and the oil temperature was clearly off. Two big eaters at our table couldn't even finish their pinsa, which was greasy and tasteless. Our waitress muttered "Oh crap, damn it!" when she forgot to bring more water and we pointed it out. No music, so all the customers can hear each other's conversations. We noticed the AI-generated posters for special events—again, a shame. Ultimately, a restaurant that doesn't know its brand, its identity, I insist.

26/08/2026: Just got two pizza’s here. I could not recommend it more. Great local place, very homey, the owners are excellent and the pizza is delicious! If you are traveling through Aix Les Bains, please stop here!

18/08/2026: Really great good.The fruit de mer is excellent. Friendly cook. Don't mint the outside of the restaurant .The food is really great and fresh made .

13/08/2026: Having eaten at Phoenix several times, I've never been disappointed. The welcome is warm, and the service is excellent. If you're looking for a cozy neighborhood atmosphere with good food, don't hesitate. I'll gladly return.

21/08/2026: The food was very tasty, the ingredients were fresh and high-quality, the portions were generous, and the service was friendly. The fries were excellent. We and our children really enjoyed it. There aren't many tables in the dining area, but we managed to find a seat. The main issue is probably the sheer number of options on the menu: there are so many choices and variations that it's quite difficult to navigate and decide what you want, but the owner was helpful. I do appreciate it when the chef chooses for me, suggesting the best combinations (though he still gives me a choice). Overall, it's an excellent establishment that I highly recommend. It's fast food, but upscale, far superior to chain restaurants, while remaining in roughly the same price range.
