14/08/2024: While visiting Amiens, we had lunch in this restaurant. Restaurant that doesn't look like much and yet... The managers are adorable, we were very well received. The food is so good and the portions are generous. The value for money is unbeatable!!! In short, it’s an address that I recommend 100%.

23/06/2024: I trust a colleague, who takes me to eat there. We find ourselves in a kind of stuffy veranda, and despite pointing out twice that it's very hot, the waitress says "yes" and leaves without opening a window or anything. The tables are so close together that we no longer move around. On the other hand, it's perfect for following the neighbors' conversation. A permanent volume that is frankly painful, where everyone speaks louder than the other to be heard. On the way out, we notice a couple sitting at a table of two at the end of a doorless corridor. Mind-boggling. Claustro friends, flee. In short, we order from a slate on the wall, written by hand. A sort of eye test. I see the dish of the day at €10, I say impeccable, let’s try it. I order rump steak skewers and fries. The meat was dry like anything, but by drowning it in mayo it was OK. As for the 10 fries, not one more, I enjoyed them. We finally get out of this nightmare, and the boss asks me for €20. My colleague and I look at each other, not sure if we understand. Yes Yes. There was "extra" on the skewers. He goes to show me the slate, and indeed, written in small letters in red chalk, I did not see this very useful mention in the distance = extra. €9.90. In addition to a risky definition of a supplement, I pay double price for my daily special. Gift. And it will be the last, I won't set foot there again.

12/09/2024: Set menu at 7.50 p.m.: dessert dish, coffee or tea drink/Dish of the day: beef skewer with fries and salad and a sauce. The rare beef was very tender. Disappointed by the dessert of the day: Belle Hélène pear - firm fruit not poached, no vanilla ice cream. Large pieces of very dry cake. We were seated near a very noisy group. 05/09/2024: I had a very pleasant stay at this charming little pub/brasserie in Amiens. The servers were all smiles and very attentive. I ordered a Belgian beer and sat down to contemplate my trip to Amiens. Starting my day trip to Amiens with a visit to the Tower's Pub was a great decision.

14/09/2024: €2.50 for a double express before renovation of the premises... €3 for a double express after renovation of the same places! 20% increase!! 🤬🤬🤬 At this rate, the work will be paid for in 6 months, especially - I imagine - that the salaries of their employees will not have changed one bit! At this price, you can find better less than 100 meters away with free fresh chouquettes!

19/07/2024: A taste moment of pure happiness, fresh products, colorful plates, we feel that the chef is enjoying it and wants to share it. A demanding menu, with seasonal products. A friendly, attentive and careful welcome. Looking forward to coming back. .

15/07/2024: Nous avons passé un agréable moment service très bien et le repas excellent ambiance ancienne brasserie où l'on mange du fait maison et où le patron prends le temps de discuter avec vous au moment de l'édition .. toujours aussi agréable de s'assoir à une table de ce restaurant ! 01/09/2024: Service très long. Tous les serveurs sont débordés. La serveuse ne souvient pas à qui sont destinés les plats à plusieurs reprises et repart en cuisine avec. Ils n'ont plus de menthe, la bière souhaitée...on a fini par en rire car franchement cela faisait longtemps que nous n'avions pas été dans un restaurant aussi nul en terme de service. Heureusement la flammiche était bonne.

19/08/2024: J ai bien fait de venir dès midi car j ai été servi assez vite .des 12h 30 l arrivée de nombreux clients a fortement perturbé le service beaucoup d attente service aléatoire je sentais venir la cata ! Serveur complètement dépassé,erreurs sur les commandes ! Après une attente démesurée pour avoir l'addition celle ci s est avérée fausse ! Bref passez votre chemin!

15/09/2024: A éviter...... Table non propre..... Service trop long .... On amène une crêpe mais sans la boisson sans serviette sans couvert...... Ne prenez pas le temps de vous installer....faites qqpas et installer vous dans un autre lieu.......... Quel dommage d être bien situé et de saboter l endroit......

26/09/2024: Great evening spent in this brasserie. Perfect welcome and service provided by a very friendly, efficient and very good young waiter. The dishes are good and the value for money is very good.

22/09/2024: Located in the very center, for the location nothing to complain about. The cuisine is more than average, the value for money is not there. We pay a high price for the location. Big black spot on the day of my visit, the toilet, impossible to flush (mechanism seized?) no paper towels and hand dryer out of order, this is not normal. On a positive note I would note the kindness of the staff. Otherwise, there are several breweries nearby, I recommend trying elsewhere instead.

16/08/2024: Very long wait around 20min for the order to be taken. Very friendly waitress and fast service. Excessive price for certain dishes. Very few ingredients for charcuterie and cheese platters.

16/08/2024: Had a meal at noon on 08/16/2024. Very good welcome and service, pleasant atmosphere, good dishes, however the Welsh ordered (which arrived quite quickly) contained a little too much mustard, which masked the taste of the other ingredients. The Call of Nuty had a nice scoop of chocolate, crunchy hazelnuts and light whipped cream but the mousse was grainy.

10/08/2024: If you want waffles, don't go to this store when it's hot. According to the lady who received us, the waffle batter swells with this seasonal temperature. (normal like bread dough), and that's very good, since they will be even softer. When you run a food business, and you offer a certain product on your menu, it must be available to customers. Knowing that we are fans of waffles, and that we ate them in Marseille, during the heatwave.
