30/08/2025: Great discovery, this restaurant located right next to the Jardin des Plantes offers very good dishes. The lamb chops and the entrecôte were very good!! The ice creams too 🤩

03/12/2025: The hotel room was clean, but there were no amenities other than instant coffee (no cotton swabs, no toiletries, except for a hairdryer). In 2 or 3-star hotels, you'd find all of that, so it's appalling for a 4-star! As for the restaurant: a word of advice: fire your waiters, they're incompetent! They weren't friendly at all, and you got the impression you were bothering them. €14 for an "amuse-bouche," which was three pieces of ham with a sauce and two bits of stale bread—a dish that wasn't what I ordered and wasn't worth the price. The patatas bravas were also worthless, since the bravas sauce is supposed to be orange. And all of this was served in an hour! I arrived at 7 pm, ate at 8:30 pm, and was frankly furious! They offered me a glass of wine as compensation, but honestly, it wasn't enough! At breakfast, there were no more hot dishes; I had to ask for more, and I felt like I was bothering them! At that price, I might as well have eaten at McDonald's! In conclusion, it's a shame; the location is charming, but the staff, the restaurant, and the room amenities are not up to par!

30/11/2025: Honestly, the 4-star rating is way overrated. The room cost €120 a night and overlooked the beautiful parking lot. The bathtub was tiny, there were black marks on the shower grout in several places (photos available), and the air conditioning kept shutting off automatically. Even when you turned it back on, it shut off again, so we were cold all night. A smart TV for Netflix would have been great… otherwise, the bedding was decent and the pillows were comfortable. The hotel itself is very quiet and the grounds are beautiful.

09/10/2025: The little bistro on the corner of Place Nationale! We'll give you the warmest welcome! The service is impeccable, orchestrated by the chef, Jeff! The food is prepared by Jacquie, who creates authentic, home-style cuisine using only the finest ingredients, traditional cooking, the kind you don't find anymore, and all the more excellent! I highly recommend this local bistro; there are hardly any like it left! Jaco P

01/10/2024: We went with 4 to eat. The place looks good. We even got greeted by a cat inside the place, but never judge a book by its cover. When the food arrived the server wanted to switch the normal knives with steak knives, but after collecting the normal ones she immediately forgot to give us the steak knives to eat. We had to ask another server for knives to eat. I ordered a Tournedos, which ended up full of fat and tendons (so not a Tournedos at all!). The tournedos was served with potato puree, which had way to much butter in it. Carrots that tasted weird and a small puree swirl, which tasted fruity and did not match with the dish at all. The dish itself was a mess. Very dissapointing, because it was priced at €30. When we told the server about the tournedos, she did not react and nothing was done about it. The fries, which someone else ordered, were really bitter of taste and dried out, which let us to believe they were old fries we got. When asked for the bill, the server later arrived with a desert menu. So we had to ask for the bill again. All in all our experience was far from good. The location and looks of the restaurant are great, but the food and service are terrible. I would not recommend anyone to visite this place, due to the lack of quality of the food and the service of the staff, especially for the prices they ask.

24/09/2024: A magnificent setting and decoration 🤩, a warm welcome and excellent cuisine, a real culinary orgasm! I recommend the Petit pot of foie gras and the sweetbreads with morels, congratulations to the chef and his team in the kitchen 🧑‍🍳, Very nice wine list 🍷. Remember to book 😉

20/01/2026: Well located on the main square, which must be very busy and sunny during the summer season. Disappointed by the overly dry dishes.

04/01/2026: A very pleasant dinner, attentive service from Mr. and Mrs., delicious and expertly prepared local produce, a mixed platter, duck breast and confit with delicious sautéed potatoes and a truly enormous French toast, accompanied by a lovely little wine from Pic Saint-Loup! A wonderful discovery this Saturday, January 3rd, upon our arrival in Montauban.
