24/05/2026: A birthday meal at this absolutely perfect restaurant. The space is beautifully decorated with artwork, and the tables allow for easy conversation. Everything on the plate was perfect, from the presentation to the taste. A wonderful discovery. It's not geographically convenient, and we wouldn't have come to Montauban on our own, but it was a truly great find. Well done, thank you, and best of luck!

11/05/2026: Excellent meal. We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. I had the foie gras as a starter and the ribeye steak as a main course; it was perfect. I don't remember what I had for dessert (the meal was on August 2nd, 2025). In addition to the perfect cuisine and attentive service, I felt a sense of well-being in this restaurant from the moment I entered; it felt like home. Very few tables, discreet and efficient staff, a calm atmosphere—you have time to take your time—it was truly pleasant. It's one of the best restaurants I've been to since I was born. We will definitely return; it's a sure bet in Montauban and the surrounding area.

06/05/2026: La Pataterie Montauban is a complete joke: I ordered a potato… and found a piece of fish inside. Seriously? Questionable hygiene, tasteless and overpriced food, and terrible service. A disgusting experience. Avoid at all costs.

01/05/2026: First time at this brasserie. The parking lot is a bit small. There was a sewage smell outside! Glad to be inside quickly. The decor was quite nice and the welcome was good. We had booked early for this dinner, as we were with a baby. I wanted a house punch, but it had cinnamon, so I ordered a piña colada and, surprise, surprise: a cinnamon garnish!?!?! Not mentioned on the menu!! I took my glass to the bar and waited... a little... too long... for another glass of "Pina Colada," without cinnamon this time, but with lots and lots of ice... the foie gras appetizer to share was finished... No wine was offered with the dishes. We had to ask. On the other hand, the food was excellent, from the appetizer to the desserts! Our three plates were different, generous, and delicious, with good quality ingredients cooked perfectly. But the service is too slow and there's no customer/server support. A shame.

06/03/2026: The place was lovely and the owner very kind. However, we waited a very long time for our food (2.5 hours in total at the table). The food was good but not exceptional, with the chocolate fondant being a major disappointment as it was very dry.

19/03/2026: A friend introduced me to La Cave Ô Délices to celebrate our one-year friendship. From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, it was a delight. Go without hesitation, I recommend it 100%! I'll even go back for lunch. The gentleman who served was very attentive and friendly. See you soon!

14/05/2026: A small establishment between the old and new bridges. A mother and daughter run this restaurant. The food is beautiful and delicious ☺️. They regularly host concerts. It's cozy, and the system of being able to create your own meal is a great idea. Accessible to everyone, with a very reasonable price. Above all, if you're passing through Montauban, stop by; you won't regret it.

09/05/2026: I'm absolutely shocked and in tears. I politely call the bar to ask if they make non-alcoholic cocktails. I've just come out of a detox program where I'm sober after nearly dying from alcohol. The owner treats me with contempt, saying he hates our generation, that I should just go somewhere else, or he could use grass from the neighboring field to make me a cocktail...

08/05/2026: The meat is of very good quality and well-prepared, as are the fish and sauce. It's a shame the fries aren't up to par—very brown, soggy, and greasy inside (the potatoes aren't suitable, in my opinion). And the mashed potatoes are often acidic at the end. We stopped at the Place Nationale, saw the restaurant, and noticed it was full, but we wanted to get some information (if they offered other services or if we could come another day) and ask questions. The waitress, barely arrived, offered a less than warm welcome, didn't take the time to listen to us, and promptly ushered us towards the exit, suggesting another restaurant. It's not my habit to criticize a restaurant, and one can understand certain situations, knowing that the restaurant business isn't easy. But there's an art to how you interact with customers; first impressions are crucial. This review isn't intended to criticize this establishment, but rather to encourage the staff to be more attentive to how they welcome potential customers. I am responding to your feedback: Sir, your sarcastic response only confirms the lack of professionalism we experienced. Before writing a review, we took the time to consult your positive feedback. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. To claim that it is abnormal to enter a full restaurant to ask for information or make a future reservation is a rather peculiar view of hospitality. You praise the welcome "Madame" gives to your regular customers, but on that day, for us, as Black and Afro-descendant women, the welcome was icy and the expulsion swift. This stark contrast between the glowing reviews and our experience raises a legitimate question about the impartiality of your service. And yet, my colleague returned to calmly tell "Madame" that the way she spoke to me could have caused discomfort, and I was. She became defensive and even more dismissive. Finally, please be aware that your fellow restaurant owners in the city, where we were received with the respect due to any customer, were the first to be shocked by your attitude and do not share your vision of service at all. A true professional knows how to question themselves instead of hiding behind their "regulars" to justify discriminatory behavior.

18/02/2026: Excellent cuisine, beautifully presented dishes, and impeccable service. Smiles and friendliness are always present. All this at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this restaurant located under the arcades of the lovely Place Nationale in Montauban.
