16/08/2026: Excellent meal, great atmosphere, pleasant service. Why one less star? Simply to draw attention to a few points: We weren't given a drinks or wine list (we had to ask for them ourselves). We weren't informed about items that were out of stock, so when we ordered a T-bone steak that was "out of stock" and then duck breasts as a last resort, which were also "out of stock," we were somewhat disappointed. Finally, I think it's important to mention all the components of the dish. It wasn't specified that there were onions and/or shallots in the burger, but they were. My partner, who can't eat them, had to pick through them and remove most of the sauce and cheese... which was a shame. Luckily, she's not allergic; the evening would have ended very differently. It's a pity because we enjoyed our dinner at Edgar's, and we will most certainly return soon, as we still had a really good meal.

09/05/2026: I'm absolutely shocked and in tears. I politely call the bar to ask if they make non-alcoholic cocktails. I've just come out of a detox program where I'm sober after nearly dying from alcohol. The owner treats me with contempt, saying he hates our generation, that I should just go somewhere else, or he could use grass from the neighboring field to make me a cocktail...

01/06/2026: I discovered AMERIA at the event on May 19th, organized to showcase their new meeting spaces and, above all, their catering and event services. The team was incredibly attentive, always smiling, and the dishes were all prepared on-site using local ingredients. This perfectly exemplifies what a truly inclusive and socially responsible company should be. That evening, I saw only people who embody the very essence of service. Because of this, I fully intend to return for professional reasons, to organize training sessions, and of course, to stay for lunch, as the food is absolutely delicious. A must-try for those who thought they knew AMERIA.

14/05/2026: A small establishment between the old and new bridges. A mother and daughter run this restaurant. The food is beautiful and delicious ☺️. They regularly host concerts. It's cozy, and the system of being able to create your own meal is a great idea. Accessible to everyone, with a very reasonable price. Above all, if you're passing through Montauban, stop by; you won't regret it.

A warm, convivial, and truly delicious time 😋..... David and his wife fully contributed to the success of this evening with their professionalism, attentiveness, and kindness in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, just like their restaurant. 16/08/2026: A bit disappointed with our first experience at Ernest's. It was certainly very hot that evening, but the welcome wasn't very warm, and we were really let down by the €50 set menu. The food was rather bland, which is a shame because the ingredients were of good quality. The dessert was just two scoops of ice cream in a glass, not even enhanced by a small cake or a dollop of whipped cream! The set menu is still expensive for our taste! A very disappointing experience.

14/08/2026: We had lunch under a lovely pergola, facing a magnificent fig tree which, I confess, almost made me want to climb it… I hope you'll be picking the figs! We were seated in the back, far from the kitchens, in perfect peace and quiet—which is no small thing when you know that, in busy and proactive teams, a few passionate shouts can sometimes accompany the service. 😄 So it's decided, Ernest: you deserve your five stars, especially when we eat in the back! And above all, we want to come back. Your rib of beef was fantastic, cooked exactly as it should be and incredibly tender. Even Maël, 4 years old—almost 5!—found it very tender. And that, for me, is an undeniable gastronomic benchmark. Next time, we'll come and enjoy your lovely terrace. If it's sunny, we'll ask for a parasol… even if it means a bit more arguing about where to put it! And if everything goes this well next time, we promise we'll even try to cultivate a sixth star. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌱 See you very soon!
