11/01/2026: Hello, an espresso (Senseo flavor) for €1.90 in a shopping center without a great view seems excessive, doesn't it? For comparison, even by the sea (Saint-Martin-de-Ré) an espresso costs €1.70. And I won't even mention the price of a 50cl bottle of Oasis.

14/12/2025: After several meals there, I noticed once again that the trays and cutlery were dirty. I ordered some fromage blanc, and there was a piece of chocolate cake stuck to the back of the spoon. My tray was covered in small orange bits. I will never return. This isn't the first time I've noticed the dirty cutlery and trays.

I love this café: the atmosphere is always so pleasant, cozy, and friendly. The staff is welcoming, the drinks are great, and you really feel at home. It's become one of my favorite places to relax or just enjoy a nice time with friends. I recommend it 100%!
10/12/2025: Great atmosphere, perfect for drinks with friends! The place is friendly, you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. Special mention to Benjamin, the waiter, always smiling and extremely pleasant. His warm welcome makes the experience even better. I highly recommend it!

25/05/2025: We arrived with 12 people instead of 10. The staff were unpleasant and exasperated because one person was in a wheelchair. Given the reception, we ended up leaving without ordering.
25/05/2025: The welcome was unacceptable, disrespectful, and vulgar.
One of our friends was in a wheelchair. She was called a pain upon arrival because this hadn't been specified in the reservation.
The restaurant was almost empty. We had booked for 8, but there were 12 of us. We were in training and staying at the hotel next door.
That's 4 extra covers. The waiter pointed this out to us and informed us that we would have to wait anyway because he only had one cook.
We got up to leave in the face of such a lack of professionalism.

22/12/2025: The service was very surprising: 1 minute for a coffee. 10 minutes for a glass of water (requested at the same time).
"Sir, I can't serve you, I have many customers" (2 customers at the bar...). Finally, after insisting, I got my glass of water. Surprising!
09/12/2025: I have serious doubts about their cigarettes. I bought a Philip Morris and all the filters are coming loose from the cigarette.

08/11/2025: A message to the management of this establishment, the "JR" of Poitiers nightlife, Lacroix Jerome by his real name: when you organize a 100% girls' night and reservations are required, it would be nice to respond to the messages we send. And especially, when the event is canceled, it would be just as important to let people know! My friends and I arrive at La Tomate Blanche and it's closed! Your competitors are having a 100% girls' night next week; we'll spend our money there from now on. Of course, I don't expect any response from you since you can't even be bothered to inform your customers that the event is canceled.

01/10/2024: 2 trips in this excellent truck which reminds me of the values of the profession I have chosen.
Excellent welcome by a smiling and radiant woman who almost makes me want to take detours to Poitiers more often. The meal is copious with unlimited starters cooked with love, a wide choice of meals will satisfy the palates of young and old alike with variety and quality.
In short, an essential address in a driving life

28/09/2024: I had a very good dinner, large cold buffet with lots of choice, hot main course and very varied dessert buffet, all for 14 euros! Other options for options (burger, prime rib and seafood upon reservation)
In addition, the bar staff in the room are great
Close Saturday evening and Sunday

04/12/2024: Acceuillis dans un espace très lumineux, et très spatieux, nous étions un grand groupe et pourtant le service a été efficace et souriant . La qualité des produits était au rendez vous, la soupe particulièrement délicieuse Tout était donc parfait SAUF l'univers sonore à savoir les basses ( car on ne percevait pas la musique mais uniquement les basses de façon lancinante et continue ) qui venaient perturber le déjeuner ! A trois reprises on a demandé d'y remédier sans aucun succès quel dommage !
22/11/2024: Endroit convivial et accueillant, belle vue sur la ville mais surtout des plats savoureux et préparés avec goût, mention spéciale aux mocktails. Bon rapport qualité prix.

23/08/2024: The best in Poitiers with real bread and a real bakery atmosphere!!!
Very pleasant staff, friendly exchanges.
The pastries have real cake colors, concerning the sugar: just enough, nothing to do with the stalls of ultra-sweet and ultra-processed green, pink or yellow "cakes" that we are unfortunately now used to seeing everywhere.
Sourdough bread is just delicious AND digestible!!
Elina's bakery is the authenticity of the real bakery! THANKS
