I love this café: the atmosphere is always so pleasant, cozy, and friendly. The staff is welcoming, the drinks are great, and you really feel at home. It's become one of my favorite places to relax or just enjoy a nice time with friends. I recommend it 100%!
10/12/2025: Great atmosphere, perfect for drinks with friends! The place is friendly, you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. Special mention to Benjamin, the waiter, always smiling and extremely pleasant. His warm welcome makes the experience even better. I highly recommend it!

31/03/2025: We had a tobacconist's, a huge brasserie at the foot of the station, we could count on them almost 24/7, today they don't even answer the phone, what's happening to this country, seriously, seriously, I have to give it a star to be able to publish my message, it's crazy, I miss the 90s and 2000s.
25/03/2025: An ideal place to wait for your train. A brasserie bar just the way I like it, with its mismatched chairs and a clientele from all walks of life. Without the frills of all those cheap bar praises, Thibaut the waiter welcomes you with a smile and kindness. Contrary to what I've read, the menu is 11.50. A very quiet place.

01/09/2024: As a celiac, being gluten free is not an option, it is crucial to my health and well-being.
I specifically stated that I can only have gluten free food in French and the waiter suggested a salad. I couldn't believe my eyes when the recommended goats cheese salad arrived with the cheese coated in bread crumbs and deep fried in gluten contaminated oil!! The lettuce in the salad was passed it's best in any case.
I ordered a duck dish which was reheated from frozen and looked anaemic at best.
Really disappointing as the venue is awesome! What a missed opportunity

06/07/2025: i love domino’s. but it’s definitely pricey without a deal. unfortunately, i couldn’t find any good offers over the weekend for a solo order.
i was seriously craving it, so i gave in and paid full price… but over 22€ for a pizza is kind of a lot.
no complaints about the pizza itself. it was indulgent, cheesy, and just how i like it. but the delivery took nearly an hour, and by the time it arrived, it was kind of cold. not ideal for that price.
15/06/2025: Ice cream already opened and half eaten. Never seen it, it's unacceptable, I don't recommend it.

08/11/2025: A message to the management of this establishment, the "JR" of Poitiers nightlife, Lacroix Jerome by his real name: when you organize a 100% girls' night and reservations are required, it would be nice to respond to the messages we send. And especially, when the event is canceled, it would be just as important to let people know! My friends and I arrive at La Tomate Blanche and it's closed! Your competitors are having a 100% girls' night next week; we'll spend our money there from now on. Of course, I don't expect any response from you since you can't even be bothered to inform your customers that the event is canceled.

03/09/2024: The cafe latte seemed to be mostly milky water. It’s as if it was made using one coffee bean and was lukewarm. I had to ask for it to be heated. The outside seating is lovely, watching people walk past.

Very pleasant staff, friendly exchanges.
The pastries have real cake colors, concerning the sugar: just enough, nothing to do with the stalls of ultra-sweet and ultra-processed green, pink or yellow "cakes" that we are unfortunately now used to seeing everywhere.
Sourdough bread is just delicious AND digestible!!
Elina's bakery is the authenticity of the real bakery! THANKS

16/08/2024: Un cadre très chaleureux, un serveur plus qu'aimable, une cuisine originale et très bonne. Le concept de choix de ses mets permet de tester plein de saveurs délicieuses et différentes. Aux personnes qui n'ont pas honoré leurs réservation ce soir là : trop bête vous avez raté un bel endroit ! Sachez que derrière chaque manque de respect se cache un patron adorable et déçu !!!
30/07/2024: Repas très original et service au top ! Je recommande ! Le serveur était très souriant et accueillant et le menu était très varié ! Le dessert a tombé !!! Petit bémol : en 36 dégrées pas évident de manger chaud ! Mais globalement à refaire !
