08/12/2024: A lovely address, with a courageous young couple, who, I would like to point out, only run this restaurant with 2 people! Monsieur offers us his original, sought-after cuisine, concocted with a lot of passion! You can feel it on every plate! Out of the ordinary flavor combinations. Madame is attentive, gentle, smiling, welcoming,....The service is perfect! I warmly congratulate them! In respect of their customers, they have chosen to limit the number of place settings, in order to offer quality on the plate and in the service. Which has become rare now in restaurants! Keep it up! I will recommend you to all my vacationers passing through my chalets. The Charmalynes See you soon!

08/12/2024: An extraordinary discovery, the cuisine is fine and full of flavors, inventive, surprising. It’s the kind of table that makes you want to travel miles just to return. The setting is very warm and the menu price is more than reasonable for the quality and finesse of the dishes. Big plus for the vegetarian options as elaborate as the other dishes. We will come back and recommend!

23/05/2024: Deuxième expérience après avoir déjà testé l'adresse l'automne dernier ! Cette deuxième visite a autant été réussie que la première : le service, la qualité des plats, l'environnement, tout était formidable ! La cuisine reste locale, familiale, généreuse (pas diététique ;) ) mais tellement savoureuse ! On y retrouve les incontournables de la cuisine vosgienne, la tofaille, la tarte aux myrtilles, entre autres. Nous nous sommes régalés et avons pu goûter à nouveau aux bières brassées sur place. Nous avons même pu acheter de la bière pour offrir. Certes, l'accès n'est pas des plus aisés mais la visite en vaut tellement la peine ! Nous reviendrons, c'est certain !

24/11/2024: We hadn't been back for about 3 years and we really enjoyed it like the other times. Small menu but it's very good and it's great value for money. It's a friendly and warm place. Very good pinot gris in a pitcher. Good restaurant to start our week.

17/11/2024: Very unpleasant lady on the phone. We wanted to book for 9 people and obviously that was too much to ask. Also impossible to take away. No sense of business, deplorable.

29/09/2024: We spent an excellent evening in this welcoming inn with a warm setting. The dishes are varied and will appeal to both those who want to eat quickly and those looking for traditional cuisine from eastern France, and there is even room for burgers and pizzas! The food is as nourishing as it is delicious, and everything exudes authenticity. The staff is smiling and attentive.

07/09/2024: Had to wait a while for our drink even though there were not that many people. Friendly service. Prices are reasonable, but the portions are not that big. Food was tasty.

14/09/2024: We travel to the ridges in a camper van. We stopped for the evening and the night in the hostel parking lot. We ate there and had a very good evening. A magnificent collection of bells 🛎 a warm welcome and friendly staff. We ate very well. Plus a magnificent sunset. I highly recommend

10/09/2024: Excellent meal taken yesterday in this typical inn, the welcome was very smiling and friendly. We enjoyed the marcaire menu, very generous and delicious for a very reasonable price.

18/09/2024: I had the chance to eat at Couchetat with my partner and my in-laws. The meal was delicious and above all the menu offered an elaborate vegetarian menu, which was very appreciable. I can only recommend it to you!

10/09/2024: When we arrived at this wonderfully beautiful place and saw the “clean slate” of the guest room, we had no idea what horror would befall us when we looked into the stable: a completely neglected, dirty stable, covered in excrement, the food bowls beneath all dignity. We hoped we wouldn't find any living creatures here. But unfortunately, a very young calf with completely dirty straw, stained with feces and urine was standing unhappy in this dark hole. Likewise piglets, the same cruel fate. Chains, ready to chain? What are people capable of, I ask myself. Why can't these creatures be treated humanely? Be grateful to the animals for giving us milk and meat? If I had known what kind of cruel animal abusers lived on the farm, I would have had a bite stuck in my throat! I will never visit this place again and hope for a HIGHER justice that will put a quick end to this activity.

29/12/2023: Place de parking bien.... décoration du restaurant très belle .... côté service parfait et côté nourriture je suis réservé c'est plus comme autrefois .... Le petit bémol pour trouver les WC manque une plaque sur la porte

28/11/2024: Very comforting meal taken in this restaurant during a family hike in the first cold of winter. Very beautiful view of the region and special mention for the blueberry pie. We will definitely come back. Thank you to the whole team for the welcome despite the enormous attendance at the place during our visit.

21/11/2024: Nous sommes arrivés sans réservation vers 13h30 et avons été très bien accueillis Nous avons pris le menu du jour C'était très bon et bien présenté Nœud recommandons vivement cette adresse

24/10/2024: Même si nous avons bien mangé, l’addition nous a un peu refroidis: 411 euros pour deux adultes et deux ados, entrée plat dessert et une bouteille de vin à 57 e. Il n’y avait plus de burger, alors que nous avions réservé et que la carte ne propose que quatre plats! On nous a proposé de la côte de bœuf pour remplacer le burger. Nous avons tous les quatre choisi cette option. Résultat : 220 euros juste pour le plat ! La viande était bonne mais les morceaux présentés en pagaille dans une poêle et baignant dans un centimètre de beurre à l’ail! Peu de viande, deux tiers de gras… bref, impression de nous être fait avoir.
