10/08/2024: Summing it up: Excellent food, tasty dessert, clean washroom but requires some fixes. While waiting for our meal, we were served with a bit of toasted bread and some olives tapenade which was delicious. The Méli-Mélo de tomates was a refreshing starter, combining both sweet strawberries and savory tomatoes taste. The main dishes, gigot d'agneau and magret de canard, were made meticulously and the meat had a "melting in the mouth" feeling. For dessert we had the Ile Flottant which was tasty albeit we've had better. The toilettes facilities are clean, but the toilette paper holder was broken in both cells. The price with a drink was about 32 euro per person. All in all, we had a really good time and we'll be back.

06/08/2024: Traveled for professional reasons to ML for about two weeks this summer, we visited this establishment many times. Impeccable welcome, impeccable service, meals of very high quality, both in terms of taste and quantity. Boss attentive to his customers and available. Thank you again for your kindness and professional qualities to everyone. All the best.

13/08/2024: Good cooking. Not innovative and therefore not bistronomic unlike the prices. Good welcome and friendly and accommodating server.

11/08/2024: Cold reception and bad attitude. Don't get fooled by the good reviews. It seems like a hit or miss with this place according to the mood of the owner.

03/08/2024: Excellent evening on the terrace. The cuisine was delicious with fresh food. A big thank you to the cook and the waiters, it was a real treat. Looking forward to coming and trying the brunch and homemade couscous.

02/08/2024: The service, staff and food are exceptional. We often think of other addresses in Maisons-Laffitte, however they do not come close to La Forêt. The backyard is pleasant and we celebrated a friend's birthday there (his 25th birthday). We were received in the most pleasant way and we will definitely come back.
