Another plus is the vegetarian options, which are as refined and creative as the main courses—a rarity that deserves to be highlighted! Attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. A truly unique restaurant, highly recommended.

A quiet, shaded terrace, charming service, and excellent food.
Set menus at €43 or €54, both complete and delicious.
What a shame it's closed!
15/05/2026: I'll start with my only disappointment: discovering this restaurant too late, just before closing time. The setting is beautiful, and the service is very pleasant and attentive. The tasting menu might seem a bit pricey, but everything is delicious and beautifully presented. No regrets about paying the price; the food is as good as in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Congratulations to the chef and the entire team, and best of luck for the future!

01/10/2026: I've known and eaten at Graine de Gourmandise since it first opened. What I love: the warm welcome, the "homey" atmosphere, and of course, the delicious organic food prepared by Christine! The dishes are always tasty, balanced, and full of flavor. There's also a wide selection of teas and good organic wines. That's why I've become a loyal customer!
30/09/2026: I ate at Graine de Gourmandise yesterday for the third time. Christine, in the kitchen, confirms her talent for creating dishes that are healthy and balanced, without sacrificing flavor or color. I enjoyed both the main course and the dessert equally. And very importantly for me: the welcome is warm (as is the dining room).

26/05/2026: My husband and I had vin de honeur and our wedding dinner in Hotel Ibis >> we absolutely loved it!! All the staff members were very polite and eager to help us. I must specially thank to Madame Anne Py - the director of the Hotel Ibis. She helped us greatly and offered us many elegant suggestions. Everything was perfect from the start, including the ease of the wedding organization. The delicious canapes, snacks, fantastic wedding menu, great champagne, the beautiful space overlooking the green garden, the background music...As a bride, I had 0 stress thanks to the entire team of Hotel Ibis and Madame Py :) We also stayed the night - great room, clean, in a silenty green surroundings. Hotel Ibis is a true little gem in the perfect location of this wonderful little town. Merci beaucoup à tous! ❤️
25/05/2026: We chose this hotel because it is located right next to the sports hall where we had to go to a karate championship. It was a pleasant stay: a spacious family room, quiet, good mattress; in short: we slept well! The breakfast offered a wide variety, and thanks to the beautiful weather, we were able to eat in the garden. A real holiday feeling.
We also went to visit the castle nearby, which is within walking distance: highly recommended. The center of Paris, on the other hand, was about 40 minutes away by train and metro (RER A Lafitte train station), and that went smoothly as well.

27/01/2026: Excellent! An unbeatable service, they prepared a splendid assorted menu for us, everything was delicious, with a free glass of champagne included, fantastic! The service and friendliness of the owner and his daughter (?) were incredible. If I return to Maisons-Laffitte – and it is very likely –, I will definitely repeat. The price is more than reasonable.
25/01/2026: €35 per person for a group of 10, and we were served mini bowls of salad, tough and salty prawns, bland pasta with meat, a cheese pastry (almost no cheese), excessively salty diced fries, and some chunks of boiled potatoes in their skins. The only thing that was good was an apple pie for dessert. To top it all off, the waiter was saying, "Better food than in Spain!"
My wife had cramps that night and was still suffering the next morning, possibly from the prawns. If we go back to Maisons Laffitte, we won't be going back to this place—expensive and poor quality food!

19/08/2026: A timeless moment in Maisons-Laffitte… Just a few kilometers from Paris, a stone's throw from the racecourse, nestled in the heart of the woods, lies an unusual restaurant where the dishes are pure bliss. Fresh ingredients, cooked with passion, and simply delicious. All this in a restaurant where you can stop by just for a drink and even buy the latest Paris Match!
Discovered today by chance during lunch with a friend who runs a healthcare facility, we had a wonderful time and a divine lunch…
An experience to be repeated.

29/07/2026: It's a good bistro, ideally located opposite the Maison Lafgitte racecourse. Very quiet, lovely terrace. A pleasant place to be. Exceptional value for money.
05/07/2026: The main advantage of Le Pur Sang is undoubtedly its value for money: €23 at lunchtime for a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert, featuring traditional, homemade, simple, and delicious French cuisine accompanied by a good traditional baguette.
The restaurant has recently also opened on Friday and Saturday evenings, offering a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for €29.
For a touch of nostalgia, the building and atmosphere evoke restaurants from the 1960s to 1980s.
The large, shaded terrace under the trees is particularly pleasant when the weather is fine.
Here are some of the dishes that are offered on a rotating basis:
Starters:
Terrine, eggs mayonnaise, tomato and mozzarella salad, herring with potatoes in oil.
Main Courses:
Hang steak with shallots, andouillette sausage, lasagna, calf's head with gribiche sauce, roast chicken. Sauerkraut, fish with beurre blanc sauce
Desserts:
Chocolate fondant, floating island, fruit tarts, ice cream, cheeses.
Everything is simple, generous, and delicious.
Please note: The restaurant is sometimes a victim of its own success, serving over 100 covers on some days, which can lead to a wait during peak hours.

03/08/2024: Excellent evening on the terrace. The cuisine was delicious with fresh food. A big thank you to the cook and the waiters, it was a real treat. Looking forward to coming and trying the brunch and homemade couscous.
02/08/2024: The service, staff and food are exceptional.
We often think of other addresses in Maisons-Laffitte, however they do not come close to La Forêt. The backyard is pleasant and we celebrated a friend's birthday there (his 25th birthday). We were received in the most pleasant way and we will definitely come back.
